My ladies with thinning hair, bald spots, widening parts...y'all need to see my girl Kristine! A little overdue but I visited this place to get my tattoos removed (old ombré brows and a shoulder tattoo) on 9/26/25 . I had THE best time with Kristine ! She was very knowledgeable, very kind, and so so talkative ! I appreciate that she was able to provide an example of what I should expect before starting with my results AND the pain . The process itself was super fast ! My brows were done in like 2-3 minutes and my shoulder was done in 5 ! Not gonna lie, it's very true when they say a tattoo removal hurts a lot more than the tattoo itself but Kristine made me so comfortable , it's worth it PLUS the pain is only bad for a couple minutes ! I have three pieces from this studio - the first was in September 2025, and the third, larger sleeve was completed in July 2025. For payment, their rates and policies are more than fair in comparison to other studios on the island. They are very transparent and honest with quotes. If it's your first tattoo, be mindful that preparation time is critical. Things may take longer or shorter on the day of the tattoo, so expectation management and flexibility are key. Hunter was my main artist who did an amazing job of taking a simple 1"-4" Japanese motif and creating an intricate and perfect tessellation pattern that conformed to all the different angles and sizing of my lower leg. It truly turned out better than I envisioned, and I'm really happy with the results. I also had the privilege of working with Simon and Kristine in other capacities, and I received the most kind, welcoming, and professional service from everyone at 1Point - In general, they're good people. So I've been wanting this pesky stick and poke removed for about 14 years before I came to see Kristine. This little tiny thing we were thinking 3-4 sessions max but it stuck around so much longer! Hi Kristine, I'm not sure how I can respond to your comment on my review, so I'm just replying here. I don't know who Joyce Killgore is, but the dates and amount you cited don't seem to match up. Yes, I did inquire on here on 11/8/2021 about Joshua's rates--I did not realize it required a response after you replied. I was still shopping around for artists at the time; then I sent a followup question on 11/14/2021 about the deposit and how it works. When you responded, I marked the comment as Helpful (as there's really no means to respond back), after which I called the shop to book a consultation with Joshua. After the consultation, I booked my appointment for December 2021, paid a little over $2k (with no receipt by the way). The touchup was indeed done at no charge in February 2022 because Joshua said we have to give it some time to heal. I sent Joshua an email a month later because I had observed the tattoo had scabbed and peeled as much as it already could, but it didn't feel right and was bumpy. I didn't hear back, so I called your shop but got your voicemail. read more

The shop is a bit small, but very clean and well set up! all of the artists there do amazing work and the staff is super friendly- sometimes if you're lucky you'll get to see one of the artist's dog Rider, who will come and check up on everyone and he's the sweetest. They're very accommodating there, and will do their best to meet your tattoo needs. I got my fourth tattoo done by Yvonne- and, as always, she did amazing work. My review is on laser services with Kristine . I have been going to 1 point for almost 2 years to remove 2 tattoos. One on my side and another on my leg . I have been going so long only because i had a year break due to personal reasons . I went again today after not having been since October 2018. Anyways, I get both tattoos lasered each time i go. I choose 1 point from a pricing special they had on Instagram and Even though i live in Ewa i drive all the way to Kailua still for treatments because i feel the price and service is so worth it! Kristine is so sweet and talks to me about all kinds of things to keep your mind off of the pain . Laser tattoo removal hurts idc what anyone says but she does as much as possible to make you feel comfortable . I'm a firm believer that just because it's Hawai'i we shouldn't over pay for everything , Kristine makes it a point to keep prices reasonable for the average person and i wish more businesses did that! When you read about every tattoo being different when it comes to laser i am the perfect testament to that. My leg tattoo and side tattoo are effected soooo different . My side hurts way more , but heals way nicer and is fading drastically faster then my leg. My leg blisters easier then my side , gets more dry and has color issues . I'm fair skin and my leg constantly has white spots in it . I knew this might happen because i get them from the sun already. I plan to just skin color tattoo over them once the tattoo is gone . Laser tattoo removal is a commitment and shouldn't be on a whim . Given said that it makes all the difference going to someone sweet who cares about the services they give you. My fav thing about going to Kristine is she's so relatable and makes me feel like she genuinely cares about the services she provides and wants it to be affordable for the average joe; each time i go its like catching up with a girlfriend ! About a year ago he did like his 3,000th Honu but didn't complain (it was my 1st!) and this year I wanted him to finish the job by creating a half-sleeve with the same theme.
