Tattoos aren't forever. Thank goodness because I had a tattoo I regretted--my too-thick, uneven-ended eyeliner. I was very hesitant about the thought of getting laser tattoo removal on my eyelids because I've seen gross blister pictures on Google--but on other parts of the body. Rest assured, cosmetic tattoos rarely blister. My first experience with laser tattoo removal was at another business because I saw it on Groupon, although my eyeliner didn't apply to the special. The part-time employees there were super friendly & the pain was as described (like a flick of a rubber band), but I found the InkOff MD business card I got from Beauty Bliss by Mary (who gave my madre the best eyebrows!) which led me to cancel my follow-up appointment with the other business to see Dr. Chung. At Dr. Chung's medical practice, you can guarantee that you get your tattoo removed by a highly trained, licensed physician with the best in laser removal technology. Plus, you don't get a frozen glove of ice to "numb" the procedural area. I've a high pain tolerance, but I prefer the numbing injection that Dr. Chung provided. Due to the nature of my procedure being so close to my eyes, I appreciated the precautions Dr. Chung took to make safety a priority including giving me numbing eyedrops & putting contact-like shields in my eyes for extra protection. Overall, I felt more comfortable here than at the other place. Two sessions later, my eyeliner is gone (combination of cosmetic & tattoo ink)! There's still some pigment left, but I'm satisfied with the results. I paid per treatment so the cost of removal was affordable. Keep in mind that results vary per patient. Apparently, mine was a special case where it only took two sessions. It may be more cost beneficial to opt for the 4-session package which includes 6 months free if more sessions are needed in that time period. So who said tattoos are forever? I went to Inkoff M.D. Because in my interview they said "that's easy in less than a year it will be gone". Of course I believed what I was told, and on the radio they say "guaranteed" so just after seven months the my tattoo is faded and almost gone. Anyway needless I am just a little disappointed however I gave them five stars for their service and their ability to look out for their clients. So, I got a free initial consultation and was quoted $100 per square inch and was told by the doctor that two of my homemade tattoos would only take a single treatment. When I came to my treatment appointment a couple weeks later, that story changed. The mother (Korean lady) at the reception desk told me that it might take multiple sittings at $100 per treatment per tattoo. I told her that that wasn't what the doctor said. Not to mention she got my gender wrong. Very irritating. Then when I met again with the doctor, he denied saying that my faded homemade tattoos would take a single sitting, even though that's definitely what he said during my initial consultation. So, essentially, when you go in for a consultation and a quote, it's not really a set quote and there is no definite measure of how many sessions your tattoo removal will take at $100 per square inch each visit. These two visits were a total waste of time and I hate being lied to on top of everything-- and even more so, being made to feel like it was I who made the mistake. That's seriously not cool. I should have recorded the doctor when he said twice that my two faded homemade tattoos would "for sure only take one treatment." I deal with a lot of liars in my line of work and I can tell when someone lies to me. It's always the liars who look me straight in the eyes while fabricating that piss me off the most. That's this doctor. As soon as he did that, I got up and got out of his office fast. Dr. Chung may be a good technical doctor with tattoo removal but this is definitely not an honest business. Warning, Dr, Chung's office manager is by far the most rude, mean, bossy, controlling, very low-low,disrespectful, talking loud person I have ever known at any clinic service. I was Dr. Chung's old patient. Supposed to see him for my tattoo removal today, July 17 at 2:15pm. Because I went to a wrong building and was late for my appointment. Being courteous， I made a call at 2:10 pm and informed the person who answered the phone that I would be late for around 10 minutes. Later I learned that was Dr. Chung' s office "Manager". I told her I was on my way and should be there soon. The "Manager" was not very friendly repling to me if I was running too late it would be better for me to reschedule. I kept telling her It wouldn't take me more than 10 minutes to arrive. The "Manager" kept pushing if I couldn't make it by 2:30pm she wanted me to reschedule. I was very frustrated at the office " Manager" seemed to be very unresonable and rude attitude. By the moment I arrived at Dr. Chung's office, I asked the receptionist if she were the one who answered my call. She said she wasn't, that was her office "Manager". So I expressed my feeling for not being concerned. I said to her the reason I was late (for 8 minutes) because I went to a wrong building that cost me late for my appointment. I always show up at my appointment on time. If I know I would be late for 5-10 minutes I usually call to inform of my lateness and apologize for being late. I told the "Manager" she didn't have to be so rude to me. And she then was raising her voice said if I couldn't arrive by 2:30pm it was better for me to reschedule. I said to her I did not hear she said that to me, but she insisted saying she did and her voice was getting louder and louder so did her rude and mean attitude. She said to me that she would cancel my appointment with Dr. Chung, by this moment, I couldn't hold my anger, I said to her she had no right to cancel my appointment. She said " she did" because " I am the office Manager, I cancel your appointment". We got into very bad argument then she called security to get me out of her office. When security came, I told him what happened. He was silent and didn't make any threat comment that I was violate the building conduct. I went back to Dr. Chung's office and demanded to see him according to my appointment. the " Manager" called security again, and threat to call 911. I told her, if Dr.Chung didn't want to see me I would leave, So the " Manager" went to get Dr. Chung. Very surprisingly dr. Chung said he heard our argument which interrupted him to see his patient. And he said I was rude when I came in to his office. Excuse me, dr. Chung you were not even in the secen, did you see your Office Manager her loud voice, mean bossy attitude when talking to your patient. She said she had " the right" to decide your patient to stay or leave. Did you hear that part? I asked her if she was your " girl friend" or " your Wife" or other wise how could a little, small not even well known tattoo laser clinic' s office " Manager" acted like she owned the business. Very Bossy, Mean, Rude and loud Voice. When I returned agaim,I informed her I was filming a video of her inappropriate behavior. Surprisingly , this time she put up a wholesome smiles and acted very friendly standing by her office. True Color Shows and Reveals What kind of " Person" she is. A Typical fade inside and rude outside person. And She is running a business for Dr. Chung. Treating his patients very disrespectful, arrogant, and RUDE。 Writing this review is to tell everyone who is going to get a tattoo laser removal, please consider if this is a service you want to get for your treatment. There are many laser centers can remove your tattoo and give you the courteous and respectful service you deserve. Think about why do you want to go to a service can't allow you to be late for not even 10 minutes? This is my true experience and a very painful treatment from Dr. Chung's office! Dr. Chung and his team are so awesome! He is very knowledgable, talented, honest, friendly, and professional. I stumbled upon Dr. Chung while googling a good doctor for eyebrow tattoo removal. To make the story short, I got my eyebrows tattooed by some unknown salon artist 10 years ago (HUGE MISTAKE- people do your homework before you go!!!). The tattoos came out uneven, but I lived with them because I didn't know what to do & was busy. And because I don't have thick eyebrows, I'd figured some crappy eyebrows were better than having NO eyebrows! Anyways, as I'm getting older, these tattooed eyebrows began looking increasingly horrible on my face. So I decided I needed to finally get them removed and eventually re-done. I'm so happy to have met Dr. Chung! I initially went for a consult and decided to receive the laser treatment as it was priced well. It hurt a little but not that much (I have a high pain tolerance). The laser worked for me as I saw significant fading even after one treatment. I went for my second recently and also had a good response. They really are fading quickly (though I heard fading time depends on the type of tattoo, color, etc.). I may not need any further treatments (still need to wait & see if they disappear) or might just need one more. Yay! I later decided to get some botox treatments from Dr. Chung as well (crinkly forehead & big jowls as I'm aging). All I can say is, Dr. Chung is really good with his botox treatments too! The results look really natural and addressed the concerns I had. Also think his treatments are well-priced in my opinion. He is now the TO-GO doctor for all my aesthetic needs (and I'm very, very picky)!!! I'm very impressed with his knowledge, skills, and honesty. I heart Dr Chung and his entire staff! They're really nice, know who you are when you walk in the door and make you feel really comfortable. I had a horrific tattoo on my back that I needed to get off before my wedding. Yes, I said had because the tattoo on my back is now gone! It took about four sessions with the picosure machine and all the ink is off. Hence the name Inkoff MD har har. Anywho, I will definitely be back for some other secret tattoo removals that he doesn't know about yet. It is pricey but so worth it! read more

I saw more of an improvement after one session with his picosure laser than I did after 4 sessions with the other guys. He and his staff are so professional and friendly, they made sure I was always comfortable and made me feel like I was a friend, rather than just a patient. They give you a few different numbing options so it is pretty tolerable. Trust me, don't waste your money on the groupon tattoo removals. Go with Inkoff md and get the package deal. Inkoff MD I normally don't write reviews, but I felt compelled to after my experience with Inkoff.MD. I have a 14-year-old butterfly tattoo on my ankle that has never looked right. (I think I got the newbie tattoo artist in the shop that day.) It looks so blown-out you could barely see that there were actually 5 colors in it. I called Inkoff.MD on Wednesday and was able to schedule my tattoo removal for the following day (yesterday). The ladies at the front desk were so prompt! I had barely finished filling out my forms and picked up one of their photo albums to peruse when I was taken back for my consultation. Dr. Chung and his staff could not have been friendlier or more accommodating. Doc has a great sense of humor, and joked with me about my upcoming trip to Vegas; telling me he hoped there would be a doctor on my plane, because most of those airplane passengers would be really old! (I told him I'd pay him a little extra if he could fly over with me.) Anyway, I told him I was ready to get this tattoo off "yesterday", so they applied the numbing cream and 20 minutes later, we started. I would say the whole process took about 2 minutes, max. The first 10 seconds or so hurt like a MOTHER****** (very much like scratching a really bad sunburn, or hot grease splattering on you), but it subsided rather quickly. Or so I thought... The 45-minute drive home was pretty bad. The numbing cream and ice pack had obviously worn off, and I was left with constant twinges at the site and chills up and down my body (again, like having a bad sunburn). But almost as quickly as they started, they stopped when I got home. My skin was slightly pink and felt a little bruised, but it could already see a difference! The blue and purple colors had already disintegrated. This morning, I awoke to slight blistering, which by the afternoon turned into the BIGGEST blister I'd ever seen in my life! That thing had to have been at least an inch wide, and a half-inch high. (My whole tattoo was only 1.5 square inches to begin with.) I was just fascinated by it! LOL Alas, the temptation to pop it became too great, so I bandaged it up again. I would highly recommend Inkoff.MD (and already have), and look forward to my second treatment next month. Any apprehension regarding procedures is subdued by his calm explanation of what to expect before, during, and after each procedure.
