Hair that was once unruly and a pain to look at is finally gone! They have an ice machine and will numb the areas that need to be zapped, which is always quite helpful when you're in pain, like I usually am. Like their website says : - arrive early, if you're going to be late, call them! They have things to do and could probably book a last minute client if possible. - bring cash or a check ( yes, they take checks!!!) I've always been pleased with their service and would highly recommend.

On the other hand, what I at first perceived to be chatty friendliness soon began to feel extremely uncomfortable and invasive. She asks an inordinate amount of questions, nosy ones, and doesn't back off even when it's clear the client doesn't want to answer. She also makes sweeping generalizations about entire groups of people and when you're lying flat on your back, at the mercy of her zapping needle, it's not really the time to get into a heated discussion. She also once surprised me with a significant price increase that there had been no warning about. For me, the tipping point was when she kept insisting I must have a disorder or condition because I'm overweight and have facial hair and inquiring time after time if I'd seen someone about it. I assume she was referring to PCOS, which many thin people have as well, but it really doesn't matter. She is not a medical professional and I did not come here for a diagnosis. I came for electrolysis. Had she said, "I don't think your hair growth is responding to electrolysis and I don't want you to waste your money if it's not helping. You might want to see an endocrinologist to see if there's an underlying cause before you continue," and then left it to me, that would've been entirely different. I stopped coming here after that, and it's a decision I do not regret.

I first did about 10 sessions about 10 years but it only worked on my arms. I went back to shaving , except for the face. I continued doing laser on my face for another 5!! years in a different place then first, ended up stopping because it was not working, besides the fact that the other laser was extremely painful even when I used a numbing cream prior to the treatment. When I came to this place, I had no big hopes, just do laser because I was tired of doing threading (which I did for the past 4 years instead of expensive and non working laser). I am now happy to report that after 10 sessions , I barely have any hair on my face as well as my legs and bikini area. Besides the effectiveness of the laser, Im very happy to say that it was not painful at all, I did not even have to use the numbing cream (but then I already have high pain tolerance) Price wise, Zhanna alway works out a great price for u with her packages, definitely cheaper then any other place I did it in before. And one other critical point is that Zhanna is Always on time, very respectful of her clients and very accomodating. I rarely write reviews but this time it would be a shame not to let people know that there is a great place with a great technician that brings real results. I am familiar with the neighborhood but not with this specific location. After arriving, I was confused because it was a hair salon. On the left side of the window though, it reads Laser Aesthetics Studio. I decided to enter. Inside, there are women getting their hair done. Expect to be given weird looks as a newcomer. But don't worry, you're not there for them ;) I asked for Zhanna and they had me wait towards the back. Although not your typical medspa and space is limited, the area is clean and she sanitizes your glasses with an alcohol pad before service. (Which should be done at all laser places. If it isn't, that's a clear indication that you should LEAVE) Zhanna is very thorough and doesn't rush your session. I have about four more sessions to go and I'm looking forward to the results!

While I fully respect everyone's right to value their time & services, a last-minute disagreement regarding compensation ultimately led us to withdraw the invitation. The situation reinforced some of the concerns I already had regarding communication & professionalism. Looking back, I realize I focused heavily on the quality of the work while overlooking how the overall experience made me feel as a client. The lashes were beautiful, & I still believe both women are highly skilled. However, over time I learned that talent alone is not enough for me personally. The receptionist was very friendly and helped me to schedule all of my appointments on the same date so I'm not coming to Laser Away a million times like I work here lol (not sure why they were scattered out to begin with) She also informed me of the update where we can be in the sun before/ after laser. I was concerned how was I going to be outside this summer with 8 treatments remaining. Glad it won't be an issue now. The woman who did my laser (I wish I would have gotten her name) was very informative and made me feel comfortable. This was my second session so I'm still pretty new. I added on a new service, my upper lip (because why be hairless everywhere else and still have a mustache?!) and the woman walked me through what it would feel like and even did a test on my neck before we began- I appreciated that. She was thorough and took her time making sure to get every spot. I already booked my next appointment and I can't wait to come back! I've seen amazing results after the first session so I can't wait to see if any hair grows back now.

I recently had a hair removal session at the LaserAway located at 118 Court street, and I had to leave a review to tell everyone about an amazing Employee named "May". I have been in management / customer service for about 20 years now and I have honestly never crossed paths with someone who is truly dedicated to their clients the way that she is. From the first conversation I had with her I knew she was something special. I have been battling PCOS and it's symptoms from the time I was a teenager, and was rather apprehensive about trying laser hair removal because one of the steps is shaving your face. I was terrified because I was afraid that I was going to develop a 5' O'clock shadow. I must have asked May a million questions and not only was she knowledgeable but patient and kind. She explained every step of the process and took just as much time in going over the steps needed for after care to ensure I derive the best results. I had such a wonderful experience here! I did a phone consultation with Jess about laser hair removal and she was amazing. She stayed on the phone with me forever going over everything about the process with me. I was so worried about the pain and after effects but after talking to her I felt so well informed and comfortable about going through with it. When I got there I was having some last minute nervousness but once I was greeted by Jess and Amanda, they both were so nice I felt much better (and the check in process was quick and easy). The woman, Amanda (different Amanda) who actually performed the laser treatment was also fantastic! Unfortunately her home location is up in Tribeca so I might not see her again- but anyone going to the Laser Away up there should definitely see her! She did a little spot on my underarm to make sure I'd be comfortable with it before continuing. Once I gave her the OK she did everything so fast, the whole process probably took less than 10 minutes. It was such a relief how quick it was and so much less painful than waxing. I am 55 and no matter how much I watch my diet and go to the gym, my body is not the same as it was when I was 25. I just can not get rid of the stubborn fat on my stomach so I recently had Cool sculpting done at Laser Away's Court Street, Brooklyn location. I had 6 Cool Sculpting procedures done there and I was very, very pleased with every aspect of the procedure. The space is beautiful, the staff is extremely friendly and helpful and truly knowledgeable about the cool sculpting process. It's a little unnerving having anything done to your body. It's not as stressful as surgery but still, I was a little nervous. Thankfully all worries were quickly gone after the first application started. I actually fell asleep at one point. It is too early to see results yet, it could take up to 3 months but I am completely confident I am going to be thrilled with the results. My experience had LaserAway Brooklyn Heights has been stellar from the beginning. Kayla was super knowledgeable about the treatments and what I needed to accomplish my goals. I've done 4 treatments on my chin and the area has improved drastically. The discoloration and rough texture are almost completely gone. As an African American woman I hesitated regarding laser treatments because I was concerned about the laser not being right for my skin and being burned. Everyone at LA is helpful friendly and pleasant. Today Jessica helped me navigate an appointment dilemma and made sure I was able to still get my treatment. Lady did my Brazilian treatment today. The new location in Brooklyn Heights is accessible by train and bus. The location is clean and spacious. When you first enter, the staff is welcoming and will answer any questions that you may have! I was inquiring about Laser hair removal and Coolsculpting. The sales representative Kristie answer all of my questions. On top of that, she offered me coffee, water or tea. She explained thoroughly that Laser hair removal takes up to 8 sessions in order to see results. i have gone to this specific location and this is my second visit and personally loved this experience/ customer service. The front desk is very nice and welcoming , the secure is quick , efficient and super friendly. I love how the people on staff are very precise and professional. Today's treatment I have met with clinician Gabriella and she was super sweet very welcoming i absolutely loved it. I have never done lasering before this is a journey and experience so I am just excited to see my results further into my sessions and looking forward to each and everyone i attend to :). I had my first 6 out of 8 sessions in texas and they never offered me packets to take care of my laser treatments over the days, no ice packets during treatments, and the sessions always felt quicker than expected. My last two sessions here in new york makes me wish i did all my sessions here! Location truly matters no matter which laser company you are with. They offered me ice packs, post care packets for my treatments and i could tell they were trying to get every spot my laser detail entailed. I have been doing treatments here for about a year now. I was living in NYC but in the middle of treatments I moved to Cincinnati. I usually fly or drive in for my appointments but one weekend my appointment was cancelled and I wasn't aware. My five stars are for the people that work at Laser Away and not how the lasers are working for me. I feel that the laser hair removal isn't working. But the people that work there are incredibly nice every one. I particularly want to mention the Ray Paul who works at the front desk at the Tribeca location and Jessica who usually works at the Flatiron District location. Ray is super nice and helpful. Found LaserAway via google search and so glad I did! The service from start to finish was amazing. Had a call this morning to understand what areas I needed for laser treatment and then managed to book an appointment the same day! I have always had a great experience at Laseraway especially this location. Any questions I have about the procedures and pricing of things are thoroughly explained and I feel even better when I'm given the best tips to improve the results of the treatments. I received an email and a text message with a GOOGLE chat link. I was given the option to conduct the consult via phone with no video. At around 1030, I received a phone call from Melissa Gonzalez. I informed her that I wanted a small tattoo removed. She asked me basic pedigree information and asked why I wanted it removed. She asked me to send her a photo while we were on the phone. I sent her the photo. She then provided me a quote, which she stated was the Memorial Day special and a discount for being a first responder. She tells me I can pay the full amount or enroll in a payment plan. I informed her that I would pay in full at the appointment. She told me she had an appointment for 1300 on May 31, 2024. I confirm the appointment time. She sends me a link to fill out the paperwork. The paperwork requests my Name, DOB, address, and e-mail, and then the next page is an in-depth medical history questionnaire asking you everything about medications, illnesses, medical conditions, and prior surgeries. I answered every question, e-signed it, and sent it back. Melissa stayed on the phone with me the entire time I filled out the application. When I completed and submitted it, she said that I would receive an FT link to speak with the Nurse practitioner. A few minutes later, I received an FT Telemedicine call from Allison Jaggard, NP. The call was very brief. She asked me about allergies to medication and a prior surgical procedure. When we concluded the call, I sent Melissa a message asking if I was confirmed for the appointment. She responded that I wasn't and said she would call me when she was done with a patient. She calls me back, and asks how the appointment went. Afterwards I again ask her if I am confirmed for May 31. She tells me that I have to PAY IN FULL BEFORE I CAN SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT! I never had a face-to-face meeting, never went to the office, and never met with anyone in the office, and she told me that appointments are only scheduled AFTER payment is received in full. So they expect someone to send them 800 dollars without even having a face-to-face meeting. At any point during the conversation, she could have informed me that payment was required beforehand, and SHE DID NOT! I messaged Melissa that I would NOT be scheduling an appointment. I asked her to delete my personal information and medical history, and she responded, "It is illegal for us to delete that information. It will not be used for anything besides your history shall you decide to have treatment." I called another laser removal place and asked if I had to make a payment upfront. The response was, "Why would we ask you for a payment, and we haven't even physically seen you to assess you"?

I wanted to fill my lips as big as possible, while still looking sexy, not cartoonish. When Dr Kleydman came in the room, i was just blown away. The pictures on her website are pretty, but seriously dont do her justice. She is super gorgeous woman. So, I began to explain what I wanted, and that I had used Juvaderm before in the pillows. I was mostly happy with it, though it is sometimes distracting because its dense. You always FEEL it. She recommended Restylane Define. I said, okay, I trust you, LETS DO IT! (you will feel that way too, I guarantee it) This woman is an extremely talented artist and perfectionist. My lips look AWESOME!!!! Perfect. I couldnt have even imagined they wouldve looked like this. P.E.R.F.E.C.T. I scheduled an appointment for a checkup 2 weeks later, and they said I could get a free gentle laser treatment facial at that time. At my 2 week checkup appt...another young woman was there with Rebecca (im sorry I forgot your name Toronto!). We giggled and chatted until it was time to go into the room. Super nice people! Anyway, when Dr Kleydman came in the room I hugged her so tight I couldve spun her around in circles! I LOVE HER, and have hence forth adopted her as my sister (at least in my head lol ;) I am so thrilled with my lips. I had a bit of swelling initially, but when that went away WOWWZA. Now Im prepping for the laser treatment. It was so relaxing. Its a gentle laser with NO down time. when it was done, i put on my sunblock and that was it. The next day...O.M.G....the redness in my cheeks and around my nose is almost completely GONE. The texture of the skin at the 11's is finer. Just overall BETTER everywhere. I want that laser every week (but I think you have to wait 2). I know there are a LOT of super picky ladies in that area of Brooklyn...every single one of you should be going to Dr. Kleydman.
