Complete rip off!! My family and I decided to go because we could do zip line and paddle boats. Upon arrival at 3:30pm we were told we had time to do both until 6pm with a $55 day pass. We were finished zip lining at 5:21, we went to paddle boats and was told it closed at 5pm. Huh?! We have until 6pm! As stop by the entry office to ask for a partial refund since we were lied to about the activity being available to ride. No help whatsoever! Yeah we understand but we can't refund. I ask for the manager, who is no more than 18, and she said we had 30 minutes to cancel. Girl bye! They are so wrong not to tell me the ride closed early so I could have done that first. we booked the canopy tour through their cruise excursions website for only $81 usd per person. the bilingual tour guides were very friendly and knowledgeable. we met ismael and fernando by the port, where they were waiting for us with a bus to take us to the park. transportation was included in the price and it was a short drive to the park. we had the whole bus to ourselves and even got to connect our phones to the aux to play our music. when we got there, michael was very helpful with safety instructions and led us through the activities. while on the ziplines, phones and gopros are not allowed unless theyre strapped to your arm. there were five ziplines in total and a few bridges. you go at your own pace, and theres a rest area with free water bottles halfway through the course. all the tour guides were helpful and all for a great price read more

A fun clean place to camp! I definitely recommend coming here for the weekend. It does get packed! So many activities and places to go! Pools and restrooms are always clean. I was so amazed not even in Cali lol. This place keeps up with their maintenance. Workers definitely take care of the camp grounds with love. There are different pools to swim in. Zip lining was so much fun and the workers there make sure you are safe. There is also a hiking trail to see the flag at the top. Also, there is music playing which I love. It is such a vibe. We went there on a cruise excursion for the canopy tour. It was outstanding. Five different wire and wood bridges with five different zip lines. The safety seemed to be a priority. Felt completely safe and secure in the harness. They also offer ATVs. waterpark, camping, cabins, and hiking. It would be a great place to spend a week. read more

They say ignorance is bliss, and it could not have been more true when it came to this excursion. For our bachelorette trip, we booked the Las Canadas Canopy Tour with zip lining and suspension bridges. While I was aware we were going to be zip lining, my nerves were not prepared when I saw what exactly the suspension bridges looked like. Needless to say, we came. We saw. And we conquered. There were around 5 zip lines and 5 bridges to get through. I thought zip lining would be scary but it was actually quite fun. Speed-wise, the zip lines didn't go super fast. The scenery was beautiful and breathtaking as we zipped through the park, water and greenery. The suspension bridges were exhilarating, to say the least. Each varied in size, with some more challenging than expected. Definitely an adventure to get through! The staff was friendly, hospitable and made our excursion as fun and comfortable as it could be. We had a couple people in our group who needed a little extra assistance along the bridges and they were more than helpful to get them through. read more

Que lugar más hermoso! Such a beautiful place . We drove from LA. Took about three hours to get to the border and another 2.5 hours to get to the camp. We rented out three cabins. There are lots available for RV's, tents. The cabins are equipped with just mattresses , shower and toilet ...a sink. You must bring everything with you. There is also a small grill outside the cabin and a picnic table. You can set up for a campfire as well :) Ample of parking. There are some food venues available in the ground but they close early around 7ish The grand market closes at 11:00 There is a calimax super market nearby as well so you can get everything you need. They have the necessary items for camping as well . Adults and the kids absolutely loved it ! There is so much to do . Zip lining , water park , horse back riding , ATV, 4 wheelers etc... Customer service is great! They truly make for the experience and they make sure they pick up the trash from your cabin on a routine basis . What a fun experience! We were on a cruise, with Ensenada being a stop along the way. We didn't book the excursion on the ship - which was so smart but unnerving as we weren't sure what to expect - and ended up with this great ziplining adventure! (At more than half the cost as well!) Talk about an oasis in the middle of nothing! The grounds were clean, organized, wide-open. Campsites seemed ample and flat enough to spread out. Lots of things to do from ATVs, horseback riding, swimming, ziplining, and more! Experience: Admittedly, we came unprepared as my son was in flip flops but they took care of it with duct tape. LOL Good gravy, my son thoroughly enjoyed the 5 ziplining courses and hanging bridges. It was challenging enough for his teen-adrenaline self! For the more relaxed in my group, we found shade under some trees and enjoyed the free wifi and yummy coconut drinks. Staff: We encountered friendly, helpful young staff. Las Canadas Canopy Tour Based on online reviews I planned my trip to Las Canadas Campground for the Zip Line/Sky Bridge Canopy Tour from our Carnival Inspiration Cruise accordingly. Here is my experience and some suggestions. We are a family of four with two girls aged 14 and 11. The cruise did not offer an excursion package for this tour, so we went rogue. We ordered an Uber while we still had wifi onboard, but were on our way off the boat. I texted driver thru Uber app that we were walking out from the terminal and had 4 people going to Las Canadas. It is a 5 minute walk to the port entrance as Ubers are not allowed to drive into the port. Driver was waiting there no problem. Small red car, no A/C. No seatbelt in back middle. But safely delivered us to the campground in 40 minutes. Only 266 pesos (about $14 US, plus I gave him a few US dollars for tip.) At campground entrance we were told we had to buy passes into the park which would get us access to the four pools and facilities, 200 pesos (about $10) each. We used a credit card. They told us if we had purchased an excursion prior to arrival, we could have just paid for the Canopy Tour. We told him the ship did not offer the tour. He seemed to think we could have gotten on an independent tour from downtown Ensenada. I do know you can pre-purchase canopy tour tickets on TripAdvisor, too. But I wasn't sure we were going to do the tour, so I didn't pre-purchase online. We walked (up) the 10 minutes to the Canopy Tour kiosk. We payed via credit card (500 pesos each, or about $28 each) for the tour, put our belongings in a nice, free locker, and off we went. Our guide Jose was wonderful. I am overweight and out of shape, but I was determined to do the course. And I did! I'm a little sore still, but it was worth it. I suggest wearing tennis shoes or velcro-type sandals. They told me they can even tape flip flops to your feet if necessary! Half-way through the course Jose let me borrow his gloves. If you have some gardening-type gloves, bring them along as buffer against wire rails. No one else there had issues, however. Cold water was provided at one stop. The tour lasted about an hour. The course wasn't as high as I feared. I was more afraid of popping a knee out! It was rigorous but not impossible. After the tour and lots of pictures/videos (we tipped Jose $8 US) we enjoyed three freshly made smoothies from a tent vendor - fresh mango/chile (best thing I ever drank ever!!!), cookies n cream and caramel (girls said tasted just like Starbucks.) We probably could have negotiated lower than $6 US per drink, but I wasn't in the mood for favors and they were worth the price. Paid in cash. Since we paid for entrance into the campground which included a few activities, my husband and little one changed into their swimsuits in bathroom outside the canopy tour and got in line for the "toboggan" slide while the older one and I carried all our belongings and started to walk toward the Wave Adventure pool, on the other side of the campground (followed signs.) You only want to be in your swimsuit for the toboggan activity and hold nothing except waterproof flip flops. They said the line was long but the course was short and super fast. Fun. (You slide down just in your suit...there's no real toboggan.) It is a long walk from the canopy tour to the Wave Adventure big wave pool, about 20 minutes. The pool was very crowded (peak season), there is little to no shade, and it's super loud (music.) My little one loved it, but my older one and I were ready to go. We brought a couple Carnival towels as the campground does not provide towels. There are nice bathrooms to change in. There are several food kiosks all over the campground. We filled up on breakfast so just planned to eat when we returned to the ship. You cannot take food off the ship, so if you want to take snacks, have ride stop at a gas station or just buy food there. When we were finished, we walked back to the entrance (another 10 min walk), and had the campground attendants call us a taxi. It took the Eco taxi 40 minutes to get there, and a whopping hour & half to drive back to the port. Traffic was really bad at 4pm on a Sunday. Driver said that was usual. So give yourself plenty of time to get back to boarding (5:30 for us). The taxi cost only about $20 US, but we gave him $27. This time there were 3 seat belts in the back, but only a lap belt for the middle! Couple more thoughts: -It was only about 75 degrees the day we were there. If it were any hotter the course and walking would have been much harder for me! Go early in the day. -Looks like Yellow Cab is allowed in the port, so maybe ask for Yellow Cab? -After we walked into port entrance on way back, a port golf cart driver offered us a ride to the ship. Heaven! Gave him $3 US. -If you don't want to do the canopy tour with your group, you can wait for the others, or even skip any of the bridges you might not want to do. read more

I've been here every year for the last 3 year but this year has been especially bad I have a 7 month old chihuahua who we carry around every where calm little dog that wear a diaper . We have a pug which we brought last year with no issues this year we left her at home so as not to stress ourselves or anyone out and only brought the chihuahua and oh my God! Wtf! Ice had more issues with everyone saying we can't have her here or there or in the stores ect we cart her she's 7 months old we it aggressive if they are going to act like idiots they need to prohibit dogs period. The wave pool manager or lead Augustine morales was a complete ass aggressive to my family member after we asked if we could take the dog and was told yes as long as it stays I. The grass which we did . He proceeded to approach my friend and was a complete ass to her to the point where she was a upset because she did t understand and left the wave pool. after a couple hours I needed to use the bathroom took my little dog with me carrying him he's tiny . The splash pad police approached me telling me I could Cary him by the splash pad wtf! I'm carrying him. I mean i paid a little over 700 for my family to camp and have a good time and these people act like asshole no. If you do t want dogs at your camp ground just advertise no pets period. Don't ruin people's vacation by having yor employees be compete ass holes because of a little chihuahua that' we carry around . Bad experience and it's my first of 5 days here ugh soo don't bring your pets because Al they'll do is puss you off and stress you out. Botom line if your not a pet friendly place dont advertise yourself as a pet friendly place. read more

Everything you want and need in one huge campground. Safe, clean, and convenient. There's a mini market that has groceries, ice, wood, alcohol, etc. Admission gives you access to the pools, camp ground, paddle boats. If you want to pay extra for the ATVs rentals, zip lining, horseback riding, you won't be disappointed. Everything is very affordable. No complaints just good times! This location in Ensenada is surprisingly nice and clean. The staff was all extremely friendly and had great customer service. I was in a group of 14 visiting from the Royal Caribbean cruise ship. We booked our excursion through Ensenada's excursion. Approximately seven of us ended up doing zip lining, including my four-year-old toddler. They have stairs that are easy for moms to bring their kids up to the next zip line they even offered water another seven of us ended up, renting the razors, and they had a tour guide for about an hour, there's so much to do there, but I wish we would've had more time or planned accordingly. The zip line roughly takes about an hour to get through the obstacles and at each line the gentleman that helped us with our gear connected us to each zip line and stayed with our group. One's name was Mario Rodriguez he was extremely professional and kind and helpful the other gentleman that helped us Who is Edwin Lima.I would recommend this place of business 10 out of 10 it's fun for all the family even have a pool and waterslides they offer horseback riding and tons of other activities for the family. I'm sure you bring some cash so you could get a fresh piña colada alcoholic of course for the Littles the restrooms were extremely clean and don't forget to tip the men that are helping you. They offer lockers for your items to, keep safe. things I would recommend you to bring is a lanyard to connect your phone on so you could take amazing pictures or a ring on the back of your phone where that make a baseball hat, so the helmet fits a little bit more comfortably and close-toed shoes as he will be doing some obstacle courses. read more

We got a rental car from Fiesta at the cruise port. We took the twenty minute drive to this amazing campgrounds. It looks like a great place to camp, especially with families. I came to Ensenada on a Carnival Cruise. You have two choices in buying this amazing place. 1.) Buy it in the ship for like $75-$100 2.) When you walk off the ship past the shops you'll see a stand. Buy the ($4) round trip ticket to the downtown area. When you get there you can buy a super cheaper package to come here. I've been zippling a coupe of times. One in Maui with 4 different stations and in Las Vegas but I would have to say by far this place was the BEST!!!!!!! They totally deserve 5 stars! PROS * Lockers to put your stuff in * Restroom * 5 different ziplines (the last one was by far my favorite one) * Loved Loved Loved the 5 different bridges * Staff was very welcoming * Very clean * Safe TIPS * Wear some good shoes because it is a workout waking to the different zip line locations. * In the middle of it, there is a water break and they give you a bottle of water. first time coming here and I'll say we will be back, there was no bad that I'll have to say about it, for the prices it depends on the color month you go in, we went on the black color which was $82 from friday - Saturday we paid an additional $27 to go in at 7:30am so total was $115 if you don't want to pay the $27 you can go in at 6pm, they also have a deal but only if you reserve online pay 2 nights 3rd night is free only online, the camp site was clean nice and secured, each camp site has its own electrical outlets and water you might want to bring a hose to attach, most people there bring hanging lights to put up around there camp site, there are a lot of ants so being any repellent and there are also a lot of bees, we never got stung, bathrooms are very clean there is always someone cleaning up and sanitizing it, trash cans are always emptied as well as your firepit, zip lining wastyle best, quads were $50 and hour, they do have a store onsite that has everything you can need food essentials medication and also area where you can see many animals, they have plenty of on site food, fruit stands, snacks, chicken and fish tacos all In all we will be back for sure read more

Really awesome ziplining and suspension bridges! It took us a little over an hour to do everything. There's a lot of walking up stairs and it was pretty difficult but doable for someone who is not fit (like me). The staff were super friendly and really encouraging! I will give you the good and bad of Las Canadas. We camped over the fathers day weekend in 2024. Regarding the good: The place has many amenities, pools, paddleboats and barn area are included with admission. There is also ziplining, ATV rentals and horseback riding for an additional charge. The wave pool area is great but has no shade, not even umbrellas. You can pay $25 to rent a canopy for the day or you can bring your own. The restrooms and showers were very clean no matter what time of day you used them. The showers were free. There are a lot of vendors selling various food items. There is also a free water show at night that was very nice. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We used the camp store for ice and other items we needed. They also sold wood for your bonfire. Now the Bad: First there are two fees. One for day use and another for Camping. If you are camping you have to pay both fees. During the weekend that we went the fee was $46 dollar per person per day. There is no child / adult price, everyone pays the same fee. For the 4 of us it cost $368 dollars. I think that is really expensive to go camping. They were having a promotion of buy 2 days get a 3rd day for "free". Even with the promotions I still feel this is expensive. There are no designated camping sites. You find a spot that you like and pitch your tents. We had neighbors so close you would have thought they were part of our group. We also had random people from the other sites just walk through our camp. Not even saying excuse me or nothing, just rude behavior. When camping in the USA quite hours start at 10pm. It was midnight and people were blasting their music. We had at least 3 campsites blasting different music. Around midnight the music was lowered but you can still hear it. In the morning as early as 7am we were woken up with the sound of the ATV's roaring around the campground and by 8am people were blasting their music. I will never go back. There is way too many people and the crazy thing is that we did not go during a holiday like 4th of July. I was told that it gets really packed then. I like my privacy and I go camping to enjoy nature, family and recharge. This is not the place to do that. If you don't mind being crowded, lot's of people, loud music and paying per person they this maybe OK for you but not for me. Unfortunately the Good does not out way the Bad. read more

My family and I did the Canopy Tour and took our son to the water slide area at this camp. The camp is so clean and there are many areas to shower. The security is very good, so we felt safe there. The Canopy Tour was amazing! It includes 5 zip lines and 5 bridges. The guides were amazing and made sure we were safe at all times. Jose took great pictures using my cell phone. They allowed my 5 year old son to do 2 of the 5 bridges. Jose walked him on a path to the other side for the ones he couldn't do. My son was able to do all 5 zip lines. My two kids, husband, and I had a blast! After zip lining, we took my son to the water park. It was very clean, and they had lots of slides. He was in heaven! They only allow kids up to a certain height to use the water slides which made it safe for the little ones. My family definitely will be back to Las Canadas. We want to actually camp there next summer instead of just going for the day. They also have horseback riding, ATV rentals, and other pools that we didn't have the time to check out. My boys and I really, really love this place. It's a pity that with the pandemic we can't come here anymore (not to mention I left my hat behind and they are or were holding it for me). We came here on an impromptu road trip, when the wife went with the girls for a long weekend in Vegas and I had all three boys to myself. Yep, the one-year-old, the 4-year-old, and a 6-year-old. The drive there was on a mostly bumpy and unkept road going south and inland from La Bufadora. Don't get me wrong, you're going to pass through some business areas where you can pick up supplies or fast food but, the road is better suited for an SUV or a truck than a regular passenger car ( unless of course you like being jostled about ). Once you get there, the check-in process is really easy. We were lucky that we got there very late, because I hear that during the daytime, the check-in process is very lengthy as is the wait. What makes this campground so special, outside of the amenities, is that it is really geared towards families. You can only enter the campground if you have small kids. By small kids I mean kids under 18. So, if you're in a group of adults or people over 18 years old, you will not be allowed to enter. While this doesn't ensure that there won't be any pedophiles or other weirdos running about, at least you get some assurance that it is really geared towards families and kids. By the way, there is quite a bit of security and personnel roaming the grounds at all times of the day and evening, so you do get a small sense of security which is very comforting. You can pretty much set camp up anywhere you like on any of their grassy areas. There's ample space to stretch out, but again, on major holidays, it does get very crowded. There are also available 110 outlets, so if you bring the occasional electronic device, then you'll need to bring at least one 100-ft extension cord but probably two or three just to be safe and a multiple outlet surge protector to share the outlet with the neighbors. There are two big pools: one has water slides for the kids the other one is more geared for bigger kids and adults. There's also a lake with paddle boats that is free and there is zip lining which you have to pay for and ATV riding which again you have to pay for. For us, we wanted to set up camp between the kiddie pool and the play area so the kids didn't have to walk far. There are shower rooms and toilet facilities throughout the park, so if you really need to use the facilities often, you're better off setting up camp near one of those places. It's not near a beach, so if you do want to go to the beach, it'll be a bit of a drive. But, at least you know your gear will be safe if you decide to explore the surrounding areas. My boys and I really had a great time. When we all returned they were so excited to tell their mama about their adventure at Las cañadas. We all want to return sometime soon, hopefully when this pandemic thing is over, and really experience family camping in a safe and friendly environment... This park was fantastic, I went on a Carnival Cruise with my significant other and I did a lot of research that led me to this place. We hopped on the blue and white shuttle associated with the cruise, it was $4 per person. We were dropped off at a section that offered different excursions. We were told that there was a possibility we couldn't go do the zip lining because there wasn't enough people that would make the drive to the park worth it... But being very insistent, we were redirected to pay extra for a private taxi -- very worth it. We paid an extra $30 per person for ATVing and $75 per person with Zip lining, admission and the taxi fare per person. Even though we paid for admission as well, we were told the use of pools weren't allowed. We were offered water by our third zipline and they helped take pictures of us. The gentlemen at the zip lines were very nice, I loved it so much and it was the highlight activity. ATVing was very fun, longer than I thought and was worth the money. You definitely need sunglasses and a bandana ($1) if you didn't bring one. Very rocky road throughout the ATVing but was fun. I wouldn't recommend renting ATVs and doing the ride out here yourself, the roads were a rocky itself, it's best to just find someone who really knows where they are going (i.e. taxi, shuttle). Next time I come to Ensenada, I definitely want to try to rent out a teepee and camp out here. It was a very clean campground with tons of employees and a few small vendors who can make great pina coladas :) read more

Beautiful campground! Full of activities to do, few of these activities are; a wave pool, kids splash area, with two other pools for fun! Zip lining, horseback riding, hiking trail. Huge campground for camping or you can bring your RV, or rent a cabin. Showers are exceptionally clean with hot water. Electric outlets all around and water available all around the camp. Air stations available for air mattresses ect. Bring your ATV or rent one there. Trail is nice for a bit of adrenaline! Few food stands ( mariscos and grilled chicken) also fruit stands, snack areas. Now a nice little restaurant available with lots of great food options. There is Couple grocery stores inside campground which have almost everything available from groceries to camping materials. Been here several times for about 5 years almost every year up to two times a year. Just a short 3.5-4 hours from Northern San Diego area. Definitely a place to spend 3-5 days camping! read more

3 stars, it was a good stay only thing I did not like was that live music for other people was until 10:30pm and for me they said 7:45 at least be fair with everyone. I spent thousands of pesos and they treated me bad, kept bothering me and wouldn't let me be in peace with live music. Later on at night had music on my phone and they still didn't let me listen to it. In the morning they where walking around with loud radios wouldn't let you sleep. read more

El lugar está muy bien para acampar , lo único que acampas donde sea y aveces estás muy junto de otra gente, otra de las cosas si rentas moto y no tienes experiencia no suban el cerro, no hay seguridad allá arriba , no hay barras de protección y muchos pasan muy rápido , fácilmente se pueden ir al voladero y obvio te hacen firmar un papel q no se hacen responsables de nada, para acampar según tienen limite de capacidad pero yo vi muy lleno, la vendedora de las gorditas de nata fue media irrespetuosa para vender parecía como si estuviera regalando las gorditas y pues gratis no son, la comida en la troja esta mas o menos, un poco caro y casi no tienen mariscos, los campamentos deberían tener para hacer fogata porque solo tienen asadores read more

We were in town for the day on a cruise. We rented 4 wheelers for the day and made the 45 minute or so ride to go zip lining. You can ride on the streets in Mexico. The ride there was a little rough, we didn't have any problems, but it isn't exactly the nicest area getting from the cruise port to there, if you catch my drift. It was a huge breath of fresh air once we arrived to the campground though. Unlike most of the sights you see getting there, everything is clean and well maintained. It's honestly like an oasis. The zip lining and bridges were an absolute ball! It was $400 pesos a person, which is only $17- $20 based on the exchange rate in American. That's right, it was only $17 a person. What a steal. They took credit cards too. It takes about an hour to complete the course. The views are breathtaking. I'm afraid of heights but felt safe enough to do all 5 bridges. And the customer service- 5 Stars. When I'm in another country, I'm sometimes afraid I'm being taken advantage of because of the language barrier. Most other places we visited in Ensenada there were people hassling you to buy this or do that. They are sooo professional here. You get your own personal assistant to complete the course with you. They'll give you water, hold your jackets, they took 20-30 videos and pictures of us on our own phones as we did the course. No extra cost. Never once asked for a tip. Even when I did tip, they said I didn't have to. But please tip them, they deserve it. Brian was our assistant was amazing. Spoke perfect English, was accommodating, patient, fun to talk to. He has a real knack for the service industry. My wife and I are kind of sticklers for those kinds of things, and we're blown away by him. If you're on a cruise, I would highly recommend this over the La Bufadora tourist trap. read more

Great place. Staff very helpful but do not speak much English. Very clean and well organized. Have a blast. The quads were a lot of fun and so were the pools. Be sure to try the fresh fruit stands. read more

Had a great time. its cheaper when you camp for more than 2 days. they quad rentals and food stands all around the camp site. tho, no noise or music after 9 or 10pm, they have Robo Cops everywhere read more
