These motivational signs are in front of every zip line

absolutely amazing I highly recommend it. I had never tried zip lining before and I love it. This place is incredible. it's an adventure park located in El Sauzal. This place to visit is composed of a zip line circuit of almost 3.6 kilometers in length and a suspension bridge. The circuit is divided into 5 double high-speed lines, the longest is 5,100 meters. Each line of zip line has a parallel double cable, that is, it has two steel cables instead of just one, which will give you more security. To get to the park first, you will have to make a stop at the Cuatro Cuatros Hotel so that they can provide you with the necessary equipment and transport you in an off-road vehicle to the zip line circuit.

What a fantastic activity. It was zip-lining, meets hiking, meets rope course, meets glamping. The staff members were knowledgeable, friendly, and enjoyable. This three hour adventure began with a ride up to the top of the hills in the back of an army-style truck where we were greeted by a 360 degree panoramic view of the countryside. From there we worked our was down three of the longest zip lines I've experienced. There are two cables to minimize twisting and a padded harness which was almost like a lounge chair. They gave us a water break as there was some hiking between stations (wear decent shoes with traction unlike me). Next there was a floating cable bridge which they let us go three at a time for a lot of wiggling and swinging across the canyon. Following that were two more lines: the fastest then the longest line. It was so far away you couldn't even see it when you left the platform! As the ultimate glamping touch they treated us to snacks and beverages on a lovely deck in the middle of the outdoors. There were canvas covered hay bales with throw pillows to lounge on, and there was even an opportunity to have beer, tequila, and freshly shucked oysters with homemade salsa before they trucked us back down the mountain to base. Highly recommend it. Bonus: they have luxury tent/cabins surrounded by their vineyards at cuertocuertas to stay in if you don't want to leave!

We were finished zip lining at 5:21, we went to paddle boats and was told it closed at 5pm. Huh?! We have until 6pm! As stop by the entry office to ask for a partial refund since we were lied to about the activity being available to ride. No help whatsoever! Yeah we understand but we can't refund. I ask for the manager, who is no more than 18, and she said we had 30 minutes to cancel. Girl bye! They are so wrong not to tell me the ride closed early so I could have done that first. I would NEVER go back! Ruined our spring break.

I was so amazed not even in Cali lol. This place keeps up with their maintenance. Workers definitely take care of the camp grounds with love. There are different pools to swim in. Zip lining was so much fun and the workers there make sure you are safe. There is also a hiking trail to see the flag at the top. Also, there is music playing which I love. It is such a vibe. There was live music on Saturday 6/21. Not sure if they due this every Saturday but went. Thank you so much everyone for making this a fun experience!!

From the few minutes that we interacted with Emilio, he seemed to be a really cool dude. He got all the boring paperwork, rules and regulations out of the way so that we can start having fun. His crew that was there that day was great, but, Carlos our guide was the man. We booked the ATV and Zip Line combo, at first it would have been perfect timing, but, our cruise ship decided to leave 2 hours earlier than what it was when we booked the tour. Carlos, on the fly, improvised the itinerary to accommodate our time constraint. The routes that he took us on was great, we felt safe, but, at the same time gave us an adrenaline rush, first the city streets, then the mountains, then a little free style riding in the mountain. Once we were done with the ATV, he drove us to the Zip Lining spot Las Canadas, the drive was about 45mins to an hour, but, even that was not so bad, we chopped it up like we were all friends just hanging out. Zip Lining was awesome as well, the place had their own crew that guided us on the zip lines and bridges, they were cool too. On the way back, we had just enough time to hit one taqueria spot, great food, fresh hand made tortillas. Over all, my friends and I had a wonderful time in the little part of Ensenada that we explored. I would definitely come back just to experience the other tours that ATV Ensenada have to offer, or even just to hang with some pretty cool people of ATV Ensenada.

Checking this one off my bucket list before it even landed on my bucket list…read more YES, I believe everyone should experience a challenge course like this at least once in their life! I was on the hunt for a ropes course for my sister's bachelorette weekend for MONTHS. I couldn't find one that was 1) in the area 2) in our price range and 3) open on July 4th. Not a single one. And then I received an e-mail that UCSD would open up their challenge course for us...a bunch of ladies (and two gentlemen!) who did not know what we were getting ourselves into for a couple hours on a Saturday morning. We only did the highs-only course that was 50 ft up in the air. This included walking on wires, jumping across platforms, upper body strength, and ziplining...to name a few. I know it's not the typical "bachelorette" extravaganza, but I wanted something thrilling and adventurous that we could all participate in together. That's exactly what this challenge course does; it tests your limits and helps to strengthen collaboration, but most importantly, it's FUN! I, personally, was not frightened by the height or tasks we had to do, but it was definitely exhilarating on another level (no pun intended.) I write this review with a profound gratitude for this company because they exceeded my expectations. THANK YOU for giving us a reasonable price per person (every other company I called was $3000-4000 for a group of 12,) being open just for us on a holiday, and integrating such vibrant personalities to lead us through the course. I wish we could have tried things like Leap of Faith, etc., but perhaps there's always another time! I think I've found a new hobby. :)

After talking to Alex we agreed upon a price of $110 for both of us for visiting 4 vineyards in the Guadalupe Valley. He told us he would pick us up in his cab the following morning at 10 am and we would be back around 3 pm. Alex arrived a bit early and easily agreed to stop at a breakfast burrito food cart he knew about. These burritos were fresh and hot. Alex knows a lot of the locals and has a lot of jokes and stories to tell. We really enjoyed his tour. He told us he also offered deep sea and local fishing, and ATV excursions. He drove us to Don Victor Manuel Vinos Artesanales in the Guadalupe Valley first. Here we sampled lots of varieties of liqueurs, grappa and some wines. This place was packed with two tour buses. While the tourists were being served, Alex told us about Don Victor and even helped the staff pour out samples. We ended up buying a couple of bottles of liqueur and one bottle of almond grappa here. Don Victor even let us fly the drone over the vineyard. Next, we headed to La Sol y Barro. This small, local vineyard is owned by Aime Desponds, a relocated, retired man from Switzerland. This was our favorite winery, and we bought a bottle of his 2017 Graciano red wine. His paintings decorate the inside of his tasting room, and he told us he built all the buildings on his property using Cob, which resembles adobe. Third, we headed to La Casa De Dona Lupe. This was a large winery, with a restaurant, outdoor and indoor seating, and lots of bottled goodies for sale. We bought a gift basket here, a 2013 Nebbiolo red wine and a 2015 Tempranillo. Dona Lupe is in her nineties and in good health and lives on the property. However, we didn't get to see her on the day we visited. On the way to our fourth winery, we passed some olive fields. We asked to stop and buy some olives. Alex took us to s stand along the road and we bought a huge plastic jar of olives, a bottle of olive oil and some hard-boiled quail eggs in a glass jar. Our last winery was by far the fanciest. Alex told us he would wait for us inside the cab. It was called Decantos Vinicolas and had a full-service kitchen and multiple varieties of wine. They had indoor seating and many outdoor picnic tables. This winery let us fly the drone (see photos). By far, this winery had the most people and many of them were eating as well. They charged for their wine tasting and we ended up buying a bottle of the 2020 Cabernet Franc. We felt bad because we ended up arriving back at our hotel at around 4 pm. Alex didn't complain and I ended up tipping him for this extra hour. If you want a great tour guide that gives you his absolute most, then I would recommend booking Alex. Since he can be hard to get ahold of, please call him at 646-107-2073. He'll treat you right.

I went on Viator and saw a shore excursion called "Ensenada City Highlights Tour with Local Guide…read moreand Food Options." I connected with Alex through Facebook Messenger and inquired about availability for this tour on the day of our cruise. After a few back & forth (and asking for a different way to communicate as I would not have internet off ship which I never received) I made a reservation directly with Alex for me, my husband and another couple I thought we were getting a narrated tour of the city. On the day of the tour I heard Alex say something about La Bufadora (which I did not request) so I reminded him we wanted to see the city. He said he would tell the driver to take us after the blow hole. We were put in a mini-van taxi that had no air conditioning. We had to open the windows and the fumes from other vehicles were horrible. The taxi rattled with every bump and on the way back hit something that made a loud noise. I thought we had a blowout but thankfully not. There were 2 maintenance lights lit up on the dashboard. We received very little narration and after seeing the blow hole the other couple decided that they did not want to go into the city because the fumes were getting to them. I'm sure we would not have received the narration that was described on Viator. Lesson learned - book through Viator so there is some recourse if something goes wrong.

He shouted out the total for two wristbands and I let him know there was a different price online. He shouted out to purchase the wristbands online for that price. I walked away purchased the wristbands went back to pick up the physical wristbands. He scanned the barcode and put the wristbands on our wrist. And then with a smile said the list of rides that were closed. And then said " we are short staffed and due to that we do not have employees at the rides once they get here at 12:30 then you'll be able to get on the rides" I looked at my 10-year-old and said OK we'll go walk the beach and get a bite to eat until they open up. Guess what the staff never got there! Honestly, he thought it was funny when he told me that we weren't going to be able to get on rides until the other staff got there. There were a few rides like the mini dipper and the carousel. But who buys wristbands to get on a couple rides and then get on the bumper cart. If that's the case then I would've just bought individual tickets. LET YOUR GUEST KNOW AHEAD OF TIME IF YOU ARE SHORT STAFFED AND THE PARK WILL NOT BE RUNNING AS USUAL!! I had to keep looking for staff to let us on rides and then even then I wasn't able to get on every ride. I paid for a wrist band for myself and my daughter thinking that we were going to be able to enjoy the day but we were not. I do want to point out that I'm a single mom and low income and this was supposed to be something amazing for us. $100 to Belmont Park is absolutely nothing but for me it is. And just FYI, I a lot of people kept leaving the park upset. But for them, they didn't purchase wristbands. We waited till after 5 PM hoping that as the shift changed employees would come and open up all of the rides, but that never happened. I was hoping to get my money back for the wristband, but because the employee at the counter was so aggressive I was honestly afraid to go up and ask for a refund. I'm hoping Belmont Park will make this right and provide my daughter and I with an opportunity to return to Belmont Park at no charge to us and be able to get on the rides.
