It started…read moreoff a little shaky, we were supposed to meet a 930am, but, when 10am came we got a bit worried, luckily I was able to contact Emilio and it all got straightened out. From the few minutes that we interacted with Emilio, he seemed to be a really cool dude. He got all the boring paperwork, rules and regulations out of the way so that we can start having fun. His crew that was there that day was great, but, Carlos our guide was the man. We booked the ATV and Zip Line combo, at first it would have been perfect timing, but, our cruise ship decided to leave 2 hours earlier than what it was when we booked the tour. Carlos, on the fly, improvised the itinerary to accommodate our time constraint. The routes that he took us on was great, we felt safe, but, at the same time gave us an adrenaline rush, first the city streets, then the mountains, then a little free style riding in the mountain. Once we were done with the ATV, he drove us to the Zip Lining spot Las Canadas, the drive was about 45mins to an hour, but, even that was not so bad, we chopped it up like we were all friends just hanging out. Zip Lining was awesome as well, the place had their own crew that guided us on the zip lines and bridges, they were cool too. On the way back, we had just enough time to hit one taqueria spot, great food, fresh hand made tortillas. Over all, my friends and I had a wonderful time in the little part of Ensenada that we explored. I would definitely come back just to experience the other tours that ATV Ensenada have to offer, or even just to hang with some pretty cool people of ATV Ensenada.

We end up with 2 large tunas then took us bottom fishing before landing on the docks. The captain cleaned and fillet the tunas with some rock fishes. Will definitely go back with these guys. We all had fun and will take these memories with us.

The boat was a nice size and the poles were dated, but were in working order. I guess I'm used to fancy stuff in the Great Lakes. Well, that didn't matter. What made the day is our captain and deck hand who worked non stop for 6 hrs. We trolled for Bonita and were successful, I asked for other types of fish, and explained it was not in season. No worries, we fished for 3-4 hours off the side for Red Snapper, Grouper and various other fish. I mean if you went 5 minutes without a fish, the captain moved. The deckhand baited and fished with us. The captain fished, it was a awesome day. I'd say we were well over 100 fish, with 5-6 species. They were not monsters, but we fished for what we can catch and I knew that. No fish was wasted as we had a feast that night and have the rest to the captains to share or sell in town, they earned it. I'd like to revisit Encenadas in September when we can catch other fish. I'd fish with our two guys again.. who were our captain and deckhand ?? I'd love to come back for a longer trip.

Staff speaks fluent English Spacious room (Jr suite) and a lovely balcony I loved having a coffee maker and a fridge Pretty Americanized if that's your thing and full of tourists You feel especially safe with the guard, who asks you to verify your info Restaurant on the premises though you have to pay for it Cons: VERY noisy rooms with paper thin walls You can hear everyone, alongside their kids walking in the hallway (floors are tile) The rooms are outdated and the carpet is dirty Very loud at night (the hold events at the hotel premises but the noise goes down past 11pm) Our TV was broken but thankfully the bedroom one worked. WARNING We bought their time share 3 years ago and are VERY…read moreSORRY we did. BEFORE we purchased it, they showed us a nice newly remodeled room with a small kitchenette area and mini sink. We live in San Diego and liked the proximity. It was our anniversary and my husband wanted to get me a nice gift. He paid nearly 20k for 2 weeks per year in a Presidential suite which supposedly sleeps ten people. They incentivized the purchase with a one X one exchange at a hotel in Valle de Guadalupe and a free weekend stay in a smaller suite. They have NEVER honored the incentives, the availability to the suite we purchased has become difficult,and the rooms we are given are not the same as we were shown before purchasing. We have complained to no avail, they promise to call to discuss but never do. The hotel has become run down even in the three years after we purchased it. The children area is dangerously neglected, the small "beach" area (there is no beach access) has become dumpy and dirty, the furniture is broken and dirty, no cushions on the sofas, the indoor pool is always full of children and teenagers, the water is cloudy, the adjacent hot tub is dirty and the bathroom inside is just NASTY always. There is an almost full size refrigerator in front of the bed in one of the bedrooms (unlike in the room we were shown) and there is usually something broken in the bathrooms when we stay there. They have obviously over sold and continued to remodel other rooms while depleting the inventory of the suite we purchased, this has affected availability. When we call, even beyond the 30 days they said would secure our (preferential due to our type of membership) place, they just tell us there is no room unless we accept whatever room they want to give us. I am Mexican and it is not pleasant to give this report. Mexico has many beautiful places and there are plenty of honest people there too.
