Last minute plans that totally worked out. From the time I made the call to when we were picked up, it was literally less than an hour which was super impressive. We visited 3 wineries and loved every single one. The wineries were beautiful and the wines were wonderful. The day felt relaxed and well paced. Our driver Adrian was fabulous. He was super friendly, a safe driver, and he speaks English fluently which made everything easy and comfortable. Big shout out to Eugenia as well for doing a fantastic job organizing the tour from start to finish. We arrived in Ensenada on a Carnival cruise and met Eugenia for the start of a lovely day. She was a great guide - very professional and knowledgeable and also super friendly. We enjoyed touring the cultural center, a historic landmark, and the home of Bar Andaluz, where the margarita was invented. Next Eugenia drove us to the flea market and gave us a guided tour as we walked to La Bufadora, a marine geyser that regularly shoots seawater up to 100 feet in the air from a submerged cave. The view was stunning! We had a delicious lunch overlooking the Pacific Ocean and then returned to the ship. Five star review from us for Eugenia and the Wine Route. read more

Our tour of the Guadalupe Valley wineries was very detailed and excellent. Oscar provided us with refreshments, was knowledgeable and spoke English as well as Spanish to our group. He took us to several small wineries with a variety of offerings and experiences. He took photos and made sure our experience was a delight. We would never have found our way around the dirt roads, closed gates and steep grades to get to all the wineries we experienced. Vina Cava was especially great with its cool interiors and friendly staff. One note of warning, it said the tour was 4 to 5 hours and ended up taking 8. Be prepared for cool interiors as well as warm outdoor spaces. read more

Ojos Negros Valley Wine and Cheese Route Tour in Baja California was INCREDIBLE. Our tour guide, Jorge, was a pleasure and the drive to Ojos Negros was so enjoyable as we shared stories from either side of the border. Jorge's love for Ensenada was evident and touring this breathtaking area of Mexico was all the better for seeing it through the eyes of Jorge. The wineries were opulent - we adored the tour of La Cava de Marcelo. We are true wine fans and loved seeing each part of the process and learning about the care and rearing of the cows on the farm. Another standout was Aleyha Granja de Lavanda - this little vineyard was a slice of heaven with exceptional staff. I couldn't have dreamed for a more relaxing, exceptional meal. AMAZING experience! We had a slight setback on the way to the Valle but Eugenia went above and beyond to make sure we still had a great time! Eugenia is kind, professional, and extremely knowledgable about the Valle and wine in general. She picks the most beautiful, interesting, and delicious wineries in the Valle. She takes photos for you which she sends to you at the end of the tour. We had thought about driving ourselves, but definitely don't - it is well worth it to have a knowledgable guide to show you the way (not to mention drive you around after a few heavy pours). And don't get suckered into one of those other tours with wine/food already included, they are overpriced - it is nearly impossible to spend more than $20/pp at each winery, for the most expensive tasting option. Could not recommend any more highly, you are in great hands with Luigi and Eugenia! read more

Our Airbnb host recommended the wine route for a great time going to Valle de Guadalupe! Eugenia and Luigi were amazing people who truly knows their way around valle de Guadalupe and the best wineries! They picked us up at our Airbnb checked our temperatures and always provided us hand sanitizer! They gave us a bag to put our wines, snacks, and a face mask. They followed the covid 19 protocols and always made sure we stayed hydrated and offered us water. We went to 4 different wineries and were very understanding and willing to change the route when we wanted to go to our favorite winery Xecue. We met our guide punctually at the front of the cultural center. There were just 4 of us in the mini van which was perfect. We did not want a big tour bus from the ship. We went to the blow hole and it was interesting to see. Probably wouldn't do it again but last time we did the wine tasting in the countryside so wanted to try something else. The guide Cerchio (sorry for spelling) was very nice and helpful the entire time. He recommended a wonderful restaurant during our stop at the blow hole and it was fantastic! Amazing trip, start to finish. Our guide, Eugenia, text us the night before to review pick up spot (pictures included). We were on a cruise boat, so we met Eugenia at the Cultural Center, which was a short walk from the ship. It was just me and a friend on the tour, so it felt very personalized and intimate. Eugenia drove us around in a comfortable minivan and we were able to control our own air. From the start of our tour, Eugenia was personable, customized our trip to match our wine preferences, and was kind. She even took pictures of us along the route. We visited 4 wineries, each very different and unique. We loved every winery we visited and even got to drink/hang out with two of the wine makers! We had a charcuterie board at the second winery and lunch at the fourth winery. Eugenia provided water and snacks along the way and gave us a gift (wine glasses) at the end. We learned so much about the Ensenada wine region and the history of wine making there. Six months ago, I booked a wine tour through the ship. There is no comparison. The Viator excursion far exceeded my expectations and the ship excursion. Hands down. I can't wait to book this trip again. Where do I even start. This tour was DISAPPOINTING. Not what I had expected. You're basically PAYING for someone to drive you around. Nothing is included but the driver a basic T-shirt, snack bag(with crackers, peanuts and water), and that is it. Lunch is not included and it's not even lunch it's like an early dinner. Lunch isn't till 4pm and you don't even get to pick where you want to go, they decide for you. It's an over priced "experience" you can get the same looking for a driver on your own and much more affordable. I would recommend anyone to simply hire a driver who will charge you $100 a day and take you anywhere you want for the WHOLE DAY! Please don't waste your time or money with this company! They are just milking money from tourist. One thing though, our driver was great. I have no complains of him. But the over all company could do a lot better for what they charge. read more

We really enjoyed our tour to La Bufadora in Ensenada. It was a more personal way to see the sites with a local guide. Our guide was Omero and he was friendly and described everything along the way. The countryside was beautiful with farms, shops and amazing views on the way to La Bufadora. We got there before the bus tours so it wasn't very crowded and we were able to take some great pictures. This was our first wine tour in Mexico. The process was easy. We booked on google and , me being distracted, accidentally booked the wrong day. I emailed them and they were really accommodating. They knew my pick up location and were on time. Luigi was very knowledgeable about places in the area. He set up our route after asking what kind of wineries we were looking to visit.
