They were super responsive, and the day before our designated rides, they shared the driver's number for us to connect directly. Our driver down to Valle was named Elias and made the whole process so simple! He picked us right outside of where we came out after crossing the border. He was super friendly and wanted to make sure we were comfortable for the drive. He told us a little bit about Valle and how he's lived there for 25 years. On my way back, I had a different driver, who was Natalie. She was super nice and the ride back was so quick, probably because it was the morning and traffic wasn't too bad in Tijuana yet. She was helpful in directing me to find the line to cross the border. Without the direction from her, I would have definitely been confused. They made this whole process so seamless! They were on time and available for all the questions I had leading up to the rides as well. I will for sure use them in the future any time I'm traveling somewhere driving distance in Mexico!

Our waiter seemed more focused on getting us to order pricier items than on providing good service, and both the food and drinks took a long time to come out. The restaurant was not busy at the time, so I'm not sure why everything took so long. We were only a party of two, and our order was pretty basic: two cocktails, an appetizer, and two main courses. When it was time to pay, the bill came with a 20% tip already included. Nowhere did it say beforehand that gratuity would automatically be added. Considering the slow service, 20% seemed excessive. Even 15% would have been a lot for the level of service we received, but it would have felt more reasonable. I was thrown off by the experience but decided not to make a big deal about it at the time. We've been coming to Valle de Guadalupe ("VdG") for about 15 years now, however this was only our second visit to Las Nubes Bodegas y Viñedos. Oscar poured for us this time and we had another wonderful experience. The winery itself sits high up on the hillside on the north side of the valley and affords patrons with amazing views across the vineyards, valley floor, and surrounding mountains. You can sit inside or on their expansive deck with many umbrellas and trellis covered seating areas. Their wines are among our favorites in VdG and the service is excellent. They offer charcuterie boards, sandwiches, oysters, truffled popcorn, cookies, and fruit tarts to pair with your wine selections. Las Nubes is truly a must experience winery when visiting VdG.

They are truly a 5 star business because they are THAT AWESOME! We booked the upscale wine tasting package and it was just the best day ever. Our driver, Jose Luis Blanco, was friendly, prompt, and just a nice and sweet guy. He made us feel safe and is just so knowledgeable as he is from Ensenada. It was just my bf and I so it felt like we had our own private driver. We went to three beautiful wineries in Valle de Guadalupe and we did not feel rushed as he patiently waited for us. The wineries weren't too busy since it was in the morning so it felt like our own VIP experience. On our way back to Ensenada he asked us if we wanted to stop for tacos or souvenirs in the downtown Ensenada area before getting back on the ship. He even let us stop at OXXO for snacks! Though we didn't do the taco and souvenir stop though we had plenty of time to do so, it was just so nice and thoughtful that he offered that! He was just the best driver! 20/10! The best part is, we were back on the ship at 3:30pm and the ship leaves at 5:30pm. They will make sure you are back with more than enough time which was my biggest concern! Even if we stopped for tacos and souvenirs, we were still back to the Ensenada area around 3:00pm from our tastings with enough time to do this and be back on the ship on time. Luckily my friend was traveling to Tijuana 3 weeks before and she was able to make a deposit at an Oxo. We had a party of 20, he allowed us to bring our own ice chest and we were all very comfortable. My friends had a great time and I ended up being a hero for planning a cool Valle de Guadalupe trip :)
