He was super friendly and wanted to make sure we were comfortable for the drive. He told us a little bit about Valle and how he's lived there for 25 years. On my way back, I had a different driver, who was Natalie. She was super nice and the ride back was so quick, probably because it was the morning and traffic wasn't too bad in Tijuana yet. He had a cooler of wine ready for us (3 bottles of white) and cups poured as we entered the van. Jesse (the driver) was really nice, helpful, and informative. He drove safely (no car sickness!) and got to us to the wineries without a hitch. We toured 4 wineries total, and could choose which ones we wanted, when we wanted to go. It was very flexible to our plans. We even added an extra 2 people and they booked an extra car just to accommodate us. They are truly a 5 star business because they are THAT AWESOME! We booked the upscale wine tasting package and it was just the best day ever. Our driver, Jose Luis Blanco, was friendly, prompt, and just a nice and sweet guy. He made us feel safe and is just so knowledgeable as he is from Ensenada. It was just my bf and I so it felt like we had our own private driver. We went to three beautiful wineries in Valle de Guadalupe and we did not feel rushed as he patiently waited for us. The wineries weren't too busy since it was in the morning so it felt like our own VIP experience. On our way back to Ensenada he asked us if we wanted to stop for tacos or souvenirs in the downtown Ensenada area before getting back on the ship. He even let us stop at OXXO for snacks! Though we didn't do the taco and souvenir stop though we had plenty of time to do so, it was just so nice and thoughtful that he offered that! He was just the best driver! 20/10! The best part is, we were back on the ship at 3:30pm and the ship leaves at 5:30pm. They will make sure you are back with more than enough time which was my biggest concern! When it was time to pay, the bill came with a 20% tip already included. Nowhere did it say beforehand that gratuity would automatically be added. Considering the slow service, 20% seemed excessive. Even 15% would have been a lot for the level of service we received, but it would have felt more reasonable. I was thrown off by the experience but decided not to make a big deal about it at the time.
