Just an FYI the car for 6 people is still a normal van with somewhat smaller back seats. I have reserved Luna Travel Chofer twice while traveling in Valle de Guadalupe and plan to use them for all my trips to Mexico's wine country. Daniel, the owner, is incredibly professional and came very highly recommended from friends who have used his company's services while traveling in Mexico. Both times we were picked up at the border in a very easy to locate area. Daniel provided us with a location pin so we could find him quickly. The company will follow the itinerary you provid them or they can suggest stops for you, which is helpful if you didn't make reservations before your arrival. We were able to stop for lunch on the way in Puerto Nuevo. We founds some amazing spots through Daniel, including La Cocina de Doña Esthela. I can't recommend this company enough. There is no Uber readily available in Valle and drinking and driving is even more dangerous in this part of the world. 2/20/20 We arrived in Tijuana called Uber and lucky to have Daniel pick us up from the border. His car was comfy and accommodated all five of us and our luggage on top rack. He gave us a mini tour of the lay of the land our place was an awesome modern Airbnb in a great location in front of a mall and soccer stadium and a greyhound race hippodrome. We told him we were there for a wedding and we heard the wineries in Tijuana were something to see. Well come to find out Daniel owns a tour company. Awesome so next day he picked us from our place 10:00 am and he was our driver until 5:00 pm, he gave us a couple of tips but we all decided he could take us to whichever were his favorites. Our trust in him allowed us to see an array of several wineries, beautiful scenery, and 2 wineries that were very different from each other one was ultra modern and the other very bohemian with old bikes that you can ride along safe paths. Luna is the BEST! Speaks English fluently (he's from Las Vegas), super reliable, and an all around solid guy. Although ubers are super cheap in TJ, we needed someone to take us down to Valle de Guadalupe where internet is spotty and ubers aren't abundant. Getting a private driver, specifically Luna, is the way to go. He knows where everything is, it's a super chill ride, and you don't have to worry about internet. He was always on time and super patient if we needed a few more minutes. That particular day had crazy rain and even hail, but he was a trooper and got us to our destination with a smile. Plus, having someone that speaks fluent English is so much easier too. :) If you're planning to head to Baja and want to explore, give Luna a call. His prices are fair and he is very accommodating! --- Extra tip: We decided to take the Amtrak down to Tijuana from Los Angeles so that we didn't have to drive through traffic. Best decision of 2016. Three hours fly when you're sipping beers and not driving. From San Diego, we took an uber down to the border, walked across, and then Luna can coordinate with you where to meet.
