They were super responsive, and the day before our designated rides, they shared the driver's number for us to connect directly. Our driver down to Valle was named Elias and made the whole process so simple! He picked us right outside of where we came out after crossing the border. He was super friendly and wanted to make sure we were comfortable for the drive. He told us a little bit about Valle and how he's lived there for 25 years. On my way back, I had a different driver, who was Natalie. She was super nice and the ride back was so quick, probably because it was the morning and traffic wasn't too bad in Tijuana yet. She was helpful in directing me to find the line to cross the border. Without the direction from her, I would have definitely been confused. They made this whole process so seamless! I tend to like Cabernet Sauvignon or Pinot Noir, so it wasn't surprising. I was excited to try the Nebiollo after hearing the hype around Mexican Nebiollo and never having tried that type of varietal before. The grape is typically grown in Italy, but the Guadalupe Valley has a reputation for producing excellent Nebiollo wine. The verdict? I found it to be a bit reminiscent of Zinfandel, with a finish that was slightly peppery. It was still a great wine to enjoy, but because of that I preferred the Cab. I would definitely like to try some of their other wine varietals. Looking forward to being able to do that in person someday after the pandemic.

He has a really great intuition for group needs--he gave us plenty of space but was also around whenever we needed a photographer, someone wasn't feeling well, or it was time to go to the next place. Alfredo made it very easy to plan the trip--I knew where I wanted to go, but he knows the area really well and will help you make the itinerary and reservations for your day in Valle. The…read morecompany charged us $150 pesos additional to our $1295 to take us to 4 wineries which it did not happened. we went to Frannes, McGlen which these wineries were in our tour. We had an incident in which one of our passengers threw up and we paid for the fee but at the end Jesus our tour guy and driver decided to charge us more money for coming back 30 minutes late which it was not our fault. They did not take us to the other two promised wineries due to being closed for events and went out to other places that made us waste more time. As we decided to leave once we paid for damages fees because we did not paid for late return Jesus called the police on us and ended up taking us to the police station because Jesus our your guy claimed we had not paid and we were drunk. This was a total lie and wrong thing to do. police $23000 pesos to let our driver go. Please don't trust this company and your Jesus as they are not trustworthy. Our friend texted Alan to informed him of what had happened and never got back to us. We were celebrating a birthday and ended up on a nightmare.

We made our way to Puerto Nuevo for lobster, which absolutely lived up to the hype, and of course stopped at Restaurante Caesar's--the birthplace of the Caesar salad--which was a highlight of the trip. Uncle Jose took great care of us throughout the day and made the experience easy and enjoyable. If you are able to walk across the border and walk back or take a $10 shuttle back into the US, ask for Uncle Jose a warm and knowledgeable local that will take great care of you.
