One of the more competitive prices - worth checking them out. We ended up with an Escalade but didn't have to pay the prices for the Escalade versus standard payment like every other company charges. The only negative about the trip was that crossing the boarder we were only allowed to bring in one bottle of wine! Omar speaks fluent English, and we had an excellent conversation with him at lunch. Omar is nothing short of amazing. I found his services via a recommendation on TripAdvisor and followed their link his Facebook page. Saw that he had a couple of reviews and messaged him. I honestly wasn't expecting much, but thought hey, what the heck, why not give it a try? Initially our plan was to have a friend drive us all down in his mini van, maneuver our way through Mexico's roads and cities, and hope the GPS worked when we tried to get from winery to winery. EXTREMELY glad we decided against that. I wanted to get a private driver, but had no idea how to go about doing so. Contacting Omar was a bit of a on the whim decision because I didn't know if I could trust it, but let me tell you guys, he is legit. Don't go through the stress of driving your own car down to Baja California. Get a local who knows what he's doing! Aka Omar. Get Omar. He has both a small sedan and SUV to fit larger groups. The price for both was extremely reasonable and he was extremely responsive on Facebook. Once I confirmed that I wanted to use his services, I gave him my number and our interaction was via text. He gave me instructions on where to go after I walked across the border to meet him. Although I was a bit confused at first, we eventually found him! He is a safe driver who has made dozens of trips taking tourists from Tijuana to Valle de Guadalupe. Another perk? His English is phenomenal. He spent time pointing out landmarks and explaining the history of the area as we made our way down to Valle de Guadalupe. Not to mention, the drive was along the coast 75% of the time and absolutely breathtaking.
