Belmont Park is an iconic tourist stop when in San Diego…read more The famous Big Dipper rollercoaster has been around for decades and is still a thrill worth trying. Over the past decade arcades, bumper cars, put-put golf and kiddie rides have been added to the beachfront experience as well as a handful of food options. Be prepared to spend some serious money when visiting though, this place is not cheap. Tickets are needed to ride each ride and can be purchased at a stand on either end of the park (under the roller coaster and next to put-put golf). The kiddie rides start around $5/participant and increase from there. Bring your patience, parking is a beast any day or time of the year!

Like uh hell yes! Not to mention delicious food and ice cream and snacks everywhere. Prices are great for a pier, honestly. Most games in the arcade were a dollar to 2 dollars at most, which is low compared to, let's say, Dave & Buster's. Rides were decently priced, but they have all-day passes and even some sunrise deals where you can ride all rides for 40 bucks or so. Parking here does suck; on my last visit, I saw two people almost beat each other up for a parking spot. But other than that, this place is a fun, vibey spot. It's a great hangout spot with your kids, friends or even for date nights. We spent 6 hours here on our last trip, so it was worth it, and we had a blast. Will go again on our next San Diego trip for sure.

The party space was very spacious and I could see myself having a party there in the future. Special shout out to Tiana. Her energy is amazing. She's hard-working, super accommodating and went above and beyond to make sure we didn't need anything. She really made the experience smooth and enjoyable. Thank you for a memorable experience we will definitely be coming back!

We recently hosted our child's birthday party at Fun Box Plaza Bonita, and unfortunately our…read moreexperience did not match what was promised during the booking process. When we toured the facility, the staff showed us the larger party room and explained that, based on our guest count, we would be assigned that room with the double doors opened for additional space. We were also told that extra chairs would be provided if needed and that a party host would check in with us throughout our two-hour party to make sure everything was running smoothly. However, on the day of the party, we were placed in one of the smaller rooms in the back. The room was far too small for our guests, and even Cosmo, the mascot, barely had enough space to come in and interact with everyone. We also never received the extra chairs that had been discussed during booking. Another issue was the refrigerator in our party room. It was broken and leaking water, so none of our drinks stayed cold throughout the event. We also ran out of plates, forks, and napkins multiple times. Because we couldn't find our party host, we had to borrow supplies from other empty party rooms ourselves. Our party host only came by three times: once to show us the room, once when Cosmo made an appearance, and once at the end for cleanup. Other than that, we had little to no assistance during the party. The play area itself is fun, super cute, party rooms are adorable and the kids had a great time. However, the party experience was very disappointing, especially considering the cost. Better communication, proper room assignments, functioning equipment, and attentive hosting would have made a significant difference. I hope this feedback helps improve the experience for future families celebrating special occasions here.

After parking, completing registration, and waiting in line (10+ mins), I was finally informed--after a long delay--that my son wouldn't be able to ride for at least "a couple of hours." At no point was there signage or staff to communicate the wait time, leaving us standing in line with no information. This lack of transparency and service made for a frustrating and unacceptable experience. I lost a good 30 minutes of my day, and on top of that, I had to tell my 7 year old that we could not ride a go kart today and left extremely disappointed your location. Which by the way, is not easy to get to and it is definitely not in the friendliest part of town. A long drive, a long wait, indifferent customer service and no go kart riding made for a forgettable experience. I hope you take this feedback seriously and make necessary improvements to ensure future visitors receive clear communication and better service. I'd appreciate a response regarding how you plan to address these concerns.

When rolling up you may jokingly remark that the dry, rocky landscape looks quite Martian. Straight out of a scene with say "Captain Kirk fighting the Gorn Commander in Star Trek". Then you pass through Ocotillo, California, and spot saucers with colorful lights on them, traffic cones covered in alien sketches, and a man named Coyote sitting outside on a lawn chair in front of a vessel with a plastic bubble above his head. This is Coyote's Flying Saucer Retrievals and Repairs Service, a UFO junkyard featuring several life-size saucers, many of which can actually be driven around once Coyote is finished with his handiwork. To make the scene even more extraterrestrial, Coyote has decorated the lot with signs reading "Landing Zone," a van and some old RVs with an alien dummies inside. Add skeletons half vaporized in the backs of trucks. This is needless to say not for everyone, but there are a lot of people into this stuff. Coyote loves to share his passion for flying saucers with visitors and will typically allow his new friends to take a spin in his cart. He also occasionally screens drive-in movies like ET and the X-Files, projected onto an "asteroid" Well its actually a huge boulder that he says the aliens "dropped off" for him. Beyond a doubt Coyote believes the desert sky has visitors at night. If they happen to crash, or their hover craft Ionic compensators get reverse charged, he's got them covered. If your flying saucer just won't fly anymore or you got it stuck in some other dimension, I would definitely recommend Coyote's. Looks like they know what they're doing!
