The service is better than when it opened, the food got bad though the chef is too salt crazy, just take the salt away from the chef and I can recommend this place. read more

This restaurant owes a lot of mom's an apology. We went to the Mother's Day brunch and it took almost an hour and a half from when we ordered to get our food. People around us were just getting up and leaving. I understand that sometimes things happen but there was absolutely no communication about the issues in the kitchen until we spoke to someone before we almost got up and left ourselves, which I have never even considered before at a restaurant. My experience makes me sad because I was so excited to see this restaurant come to the village but unfortunately I will not be returning. read more

We have been beyond excited for this restaurant. Sadly, it did not meet our expectations. We had reservations and were not seated for over 45-minutes past our reservation time. We were finally seated, and waited another 15-minutes before anyone even filled our water glasses. Once our waiter acknowledged us, we ordered drinks, appetizers and entrees all at once. The one highlight were the delicious chips. Otherwise, we were disappointed. Barbacoa enchiladas were dry. Drinks were sugary. Service was chaotic and lacking even though there were more staff than patrons. Tables around us did not receive drinks, received more drinks than they ordered and received incorrect drinks. Our drinks didn't arrive until more than half way through our meal. I will compliment the ambiance and decor. Otherwise, not a place we plan to return. read more

I love the ambiance there, dim lighting which is my favorite. The music matches the vibe, and the fire dancer is so beautiful and talented! I ordered the carne asada quesadilla and absolutely loved it. They made it super fun for my birthday and brought out a big sign with my name on it. Felt very special, and exceeded my expectations. read more

This place reminds me of Boston or Vegas. Very high end and the entertainment was great. The food was also very good. Everyone was super pleasant and food came out in a timely Manor. Overall amazing experience. read more

Food was not great. Service was sub par. The show was cool, but not worth the extra price paid for the average food.

My experience was above my expectations. Food, service, ambiance. Food and drinks tasted fantastic! The service was quick and super friendly. read more

Sitting here still waiting for food. 1.2 hours lasted on out 5 th glass of water. Never coming back. Drinks were terrible.

Blah! I don't ever write reviews but this was noteworthy, the food was over priced for the mediocre flavor and we finally got our drinks after nearly AN HOUR after ordering, not to mention how many times the bar tender opened things with her mouth... not worth the money and over hyped! read more

From the moment we walked in, we looked at each other and said "holy cow, it's loud" We found that Las Botellas is just another over hyped "experience " that failed at every measure. You're paying for the exorbitant cost they put into building the place, not the food which I knew going into it. There are some cool design elements and the wait staff was friendly , I will give them that. But I mean really, what do rice and beans cost? The cost of the "crispy" shrimp tacos which contained two soggy breaded 41/50 shrimp and the steak tacos which had more fat than meat was disappointing. Both plates of tacos came sloppily placed, open faced on our plates. We ordered the salsa flight hoping it would be something new to try. Two of the four salsas came as an appetizer and as an accompaniment to the steak tacos. The cocktails were your typical Utah cocktail with nothing to write home about. There was nothing special about Las Botellas. No entertainment other than Sir Mix A lot "Big Butts" as the staff paraded with the birthday sign. So high end. (Not) I recommend going elsewhere if you're looking to spend $150 plus on nothing more than national chain food and a classless experience. read more

I'll start off by saying we have been here twice. The first time was in their first month of business. If our experience would have been anything like our experience last night we would have never come back! The food is above average but the price for that food is outrageous. We were ok with the food and prices on our first visit because it was an "experience" restaurant, with DJ, fire dancers and Vegas style birthday/anniversary celebrations. The manager (no longer there) had invited us back personally for our son's birthday celebration as he is a local musician. We reserved seating for 23 people to celebrate his birthday and our experience last night was awful from the second we walked in. So much had changed since they opened 4-6 months ago. First our party was divided into three of those experience booths and we were told that we had requested those booths in our reservation, not true. Then we noticed, no DJ and no fire dancers. We were told the fire marshal said they could no longer do that, fair but again part of the experience. The DJ was not there as well, 2 misses tho their experience! Ok, not going well, hopefully the flashy (and expensive) cocktails will be worth it like last time, NOPE, very poor execution (experience) and they have changed ingredients or liquor in them as they were again no as delicious as they were either. Ok, what about the food, strike 3, salty and forgettable. Ok, let's pay and bounce, we'll just shy of $2000 for the group! Now I would have been pleased to pay that IF the experience had been the same as first visit. Oh yeah and the "birthday celebration" was awkwardly the manager and another server as our check was paid and guests were starting to stand up and leave. The celebration also didn't come with a desert, again as it had in our first experience. This restaurant needs new management, reconsider their quality and experience that wowed us in our first visit. We won't be back, sadly! read more

Food was ok.. wasn't the best. Looks like you pay for the ambiance. Service was awesome, but if you're looking for good Latin style breakfast or food in general, this is not it. Ceviche was ok, could use more flavor. It is Utah so I didn't expect great, but for a Latin inspired restaurant with high prices, I really wished I was blown away. the best part of our order was definitely the coffee. Birria tacos needs some help. Breakfast burrito wasn't all that. Overall, the restaurant was missing flavor. Not sure I'd recommend this to anyone. I most likely wouldn't go back. I did appreciate the staff. But the food does not match the price. El Paisa grill is SLC is a lot better. Luckily, it is Utah so they'll do just fine. This type of food would not cut it in higher market cities IMO. read more

went here for my 21st bday dinner and WOWZA, food and drinks were so divine. best mexican i've ever had, and i've lived in california my whole life. server catalina or carolina or i don't particularly remember was wonderful i love her. if i could give this place 100 stars i would, amazing atmosphere and dope dancers. even went on a tuesday night and it was poppin. wonderful amazing spectacular delicious delightful read more

Went here for a friend's birthday dinner. I was appalled by the service. It took them over an hour to get us a bottle of wine. When the wine eventually came, our waitress could not open the bottle herself, and one of the guests at our table uncorked the bottle of wine for her -- not sure if that's even legal in this state. They brought the wrong food and drinks to our table multiple times, eventually giving us some free orders because they could not figure out what table in the restaurant ordered what. We stayed there for around three hours, mainly because they did not take our food orders for at least 90 minutes after arriving. They only filled our water glasses once in the three hours we were there, and when I asked for a pitcher of water, the waitress said, "we don't do that here." The food and drinks were good, but not worth the price and service. If you're dying to try this place, maybe come on a week day for lunch. They clearly have some management and organization issues to work out. read more

Food was fantastic. Keep in mind it's not your normal every day Mexican food place. It's more Mediterranean Mexican food. The service was great. Atmosphere was so awesome very clean. Very Classy Pl., Pavan had a lady dancing with flames. read more

We came on a Saturday night to grab a late night meal. The staff is very nice and the restaurant is beautiful. We were hoping to sit outside but weren't able to which was okay. There was music in the restaurant, which was a little loud for my taste. But that's okay. We ordered the salsa flight which was an interesting take on chips and salsa. The pineapple salsa was the best. And then there was a guacamole, traditional and the third one escapes me. I ordered the crispy fresh fish tacos and hubby ordered the chile relleno. Both were just okay. There wasn't a lot of flavor in the fish tacos and the chile relleno was "meh". We had to keep flagging down our server to get water, an additional drink and our check. The restaurant wasn't that busy. The table next to us seemed to get plenty of attention from their server, which is why it was odd for us to keep flagging her down. It's not a bad spot to go to, but we were definitely expecting a little higher quality of food. We may visit again to give the spot another shot. read more

The best restaurant experience in Utah! From start to finish. The food is so delicious. Service is amazing, they definitely make you feel like a VIP. Ambiance is next level! Live Dj, and dancers definitely make this place a must try read more

Food was great, atmosphere was nice and our server Daniel was wonderful!! Carne Asada Tacos were great.

Las Botellas is an amazing experience! From the service, to the food, to the ambiance! Top notch!

Nice venue, interesting concept. Food is okay, a bit pricey for what you actually receive. Table service was very good, support staff very friendly. Drinks were inconsistent at best, apparent bar tenders not very experienced. Ordered the same two drinks back to back with the request to reduce the sweetness. Expensive for what is received, both drinks were very different from each other. Seems there's a genuine desire to make this restaurant unique, which it is however still a ways to go. read more

This was a first and last experience at Las Botellas. At entry they asked if we had a reservation when we said no they invited us to sit at the bar. Perfectly fine, the entire time we were there they were tables for two and larger open. Margarita prices were over price so we just drink beer. my husband's enchiladas were good but not great. Could've gotten the same anywhere from less money. I had the beef tacos for $22 and they were packed with gristle. When I mentioned it to our server, she said "oh I'm sorry" and that was it. There are so many great restaurants in this area to spend another dime at something so extremely subpar.. read more

Got reservations for my husbands birthday and it was not a great experience. We were sat right by the front door and froze every time someone came in. Then there was a huge subwoffer sitting in between my daughter and husbands chair and the music was SO loud we could hardly hear each other.. The manager needs to definitely figure out better seating in that place. read more

My husband and I went here for a fun experience without kids for our anniversary. The restaurant is absolutely beautiful. We were so excited to go here because I thought it would be different because entertainment was also included. The food at this restaurant is just mediocre. The birria tacos were greasy and had maybe a tablespoon of meat in each taco and the steak was gristly. Our server was nice enough but our appetizer came out before our water was even poured we waited forever for her to take our order then our entrees came out before our salads and they wouldn't let me cancel my salad. Then my husbands beer came out 2 minutes before she brought the check. If the restaurant was busy, that would be one thing but the restaurant wasn't even half full. The worst part of it all is that there wasn't a show. Their website said there was a show every night starting at 7. When we ask our server she shrugged and said "if there was going to be a show it would have started 20 minutes ago." read more

We went to Las Botellas for their Latin dance night and had an absolute blast!!! Definitely the best night out we've had in a long time. Highly recommend! read more

We had such an amazing experience at Las Bottelas for their Latin dance night. It was the most fun that we have had in such a long time. The service, food, and entertainment were amazing. I've heard many good things about Las Botellas. My wife and I decided to try it. The ambience was great and our server was wonderful. Unfortunately, it stops there. We started with the Salmon as an appetizer and it was delightful. My wife got the tacos carne asada and I got the carnitas enchiladas. When the enchiladas arrived, they were cold... at best lukewarm. I asked my wife about her tacos and she said the meat was cold as well. The meat in my enchiladas was hard and stale like they had been sitting out overnight. I joked with my wife that their microwave must be broken. I would have complained to our server, but she was so nice. We decided that we would never eat here again. Then we received our bill. Expensive for the crap they served us, however, they were nice enough to charge 11.5% in taxes which isn't the tax rate in Utah. Apparently, they charge a processing fee. Now I feel like I was just scammed. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place. You will get better food at a taco truck and you won't be overcharged. read more

Kind of pricey. Did not experience the entertainment. Had dinner at the early evening hours outdoors and the music was quite loud. The ambiance was more like a dance club with edm-like sounds, not typical of an "upscale restaurant" It was hard to carry on a conversation. The chicken la roca was good with unique tortillas. The lava stone retains the heat well so if you eat slow, move the meat to the side. The first piece was tender and perfect, but the last piece of chicken was overcooked and dry. Service in general was good, but we had to ask for more water multiple times to quench the salt and spices. read more

Focus on something other than the ambiance!!! The food is TERRIBLE. I got the quesadilla, and the tortillas were SO old and stale. We let the server know, and he pretty much told us we were wrong. There was maybe one tablespoon of COLD cheese inside of it, and it was $20! Drinks are $20+. This place needs to decide whether to be a club or a restaurant. The music is SO loud and way too much going on. Its really kind of obnoxious. I wish I could explain it all, but no words. read more

Fantastic ambiance, very unUtah. Drinks, food, music....fire dancer. Service was great, even on this super busy night!

Great food. Great drinks and amazing service! The vibes were immaculate and they even had a fire dancer. Beautiful!

Pretty mediocre to be honest. I will say this, the service was very good, our waiter was very attentive. The restaurant itself is very nice and clean, cool vibe. We had a reservation at 8:00, between drinks and food etc were out of there almost after 10 and didn't see any of the entertainment that articles talked about. The food itself was very mediocre, except for the enchiladas, those were actually pretty good. The tacos etc though we're pretty basic, a La carte as well so no sides with the bland tacos. We also ordered the Sea Bass which was almost $40 and it was the smallest piece of fish ever, maybe the equivalent of 2 fish sticks in size. read more

I am insanely picky in the food service industry and do not leave reviews often but this couldn't go left unsaid. I took my girlfriend there to celebrate finishing two years of medical school and Las Botellas could not have provided better service, better timing of food, more perfectly cooked food, and the flavors were right on par with everything else. The atmosphere was energetic and the overall experience was phenomenal. I absolutely recommend for date nights and celebrations. read more
