The atmosphere is spot on. They have fire dancers which walk around while you're dining. And if you have a birthday, they make a pretty big deal out of it, they have a big sign, saying happy birthday, and they walk out with that. I ordered a drink that was absolutely excellent. I also had the enchiladas which for very delicious. However, it is way overpriced. read more

This restaurant is beautiful inside with so many details - very classy. Great round tables for 8 or a private room for 14. It has taken them a bit to find the right chef, but they are there. The food was delicious and beautiful. Service was great- Lizette was very friendly. We had the flautas, Enchiladas carnitas, and the churros and loved every dish. read more

I really enjoyed the brunch. Their tres leche' French toast was very good. Other people in the party loved the breakfast burritos. In December Santa was doing photos and visits with every table. The service was nice to wait on our big party and overall the brunch price was reasonable. read more

Unreal brunch! I highly recommend Las Botellas. The service was exceptional and the recommendations of our waiter were spot on. The food was unbelievable. I don't even know where to start. This restaurant is exactly what Utah has been needing! The ambiance, service, friendliest staff, fire dancers, dj/music, cocktails, food & dessert are all INCREDIBLE! I'm from Vegas and have high expectations when it comes to the quality of a restaurant. I have been very disappointed in the selection here in Utah until now. I will say while being in Las Botellas I feel at home in Vegas. This is my weekly date night spot! I can't wait to go back each week to try something new. If you haven't been I promise you this will be your favorite spot as well once you go. FINALLY Utah!!! I can't wait for this groups next restaurant to open! read more

Three of us went there for brunch today, at about 10:30 am. It was our first visit and the restaurant was not crowded. The entire experience was great from end to end. * Excellent coffee * Excellent chips and salsa * Service including hostess and server (SaMone) was great * The atmosphere Vegas-style was upscale, and very nice, but remember it's supposed to be Las Vegas style. So maybe you like that, maybe not. *We had: Al pastor quesadilla, Chorizo burrito, eggs benedict * price: It's not cheap but not outrageous. There was enough food for all of us to eat half and take half home for another day. It would be easy to rack up the $ adding drinks and other appetizers. The potatoes were a particularly big hit. If you like it more spicy, ask for some of the sauces - there was a good verde and the Roja, which I thought was the best. read more

A restaurant with a very "downtown" type feel to it all within a few minutes of my home in SoJo. Enjoyed my experience here and the service was great along with everything we ordered! Fish tacos I felt could've used a bit more flavor but overall a great time. read more

Longer review and worth the read. It's a beautiful restaurant with great upbeat vibes. Gives off a Vegas ambiance. We wanted to grab a drink and try the appetizers on a Thursday night. Being objective, a few things we noticed.... We ordered a $16 mezcal margarita drink and a $24 house guacamole. It's made in front of you and was filling for two people. We asked if they offer salsa (its a small portion and taste great!) it's not offered if you order an appetizer but will give it if asked. Timing is odd: human expectations from any restaurant is getting your drink within a 5-10 min window. We had our guacamole within 10 min minutes and I asked about my drink and the waitress then let me know it wouldn't be ready for another 15 min . That's about a 30 min wait. I'm rooting for this place but expectations need to set along with service and timing. Service and timing needs to be excellent to match the place and prices. Reservations? After we got our drinks I wanted to enjoy it before considering dinner. We decided to just have appetizers and come back another time for dinner. We were ready for the check and the waitress told us we should not book a table or make a reservation if we are not ordering an entrée - you should just sit at the bar. We did spend $50 just on a drink and an appetizer. It was a weird comment for being recently open and trying to make a good impression on the community. If you want that to be a rule add it to your reservation "rules". Side note - we did go to the restaurant a few days earlier to just sit at the bar and they said it was not open seating and you must have a reservation. By the way, we never asked for a table, we made a reservation and they sat us at a dirty table (didn't make a fuss about it) they cleaned it and set it while we were sitting down. I will update my post if the service and communication is better in the future. I want this place to do extremely well but you have to fix these problems. It's starts with leadership, hiring the right people and training. Overall, I definitely recommend it. They just need some improvements. read more

The interior is very nice and our server was amazing. She did a great job, but we were there on a slow Tuesday night. The chips and salsa were really good. We also had the calamari which was pretty good. I ordered the fish tacos and they were the worst that I have ever had. The fish portions were tiny and the creamy sauce they used (cilantro crema) was overpowering. There was more sauce than fish. It felt/tasted like you were eating a tortilla filled with spicy mayo. Yuck. Everyone else in our party had different versions of the tacos and they were underwhelming. They looked great, but were nothing amazing. My wife had a side of esquites which she thought was excellent. read more

I've seen this place on instagram and was a little hesitant to try it, to me it looked overhyped. Last night we finally went in and I was pleasantly surprised, the vibe was very cool, the staff very attentive. We all had a variety of tacos, the presentation was perfect, my steak tacos were just the right size. We decided to try all of their deserts and the chocolate cake with ice cream, and the churros with ice cream were mouth watering good! Well worth the extra calories. Overall it was a great atmosphere for dinner with friends, the food and service were great. And to my surprise the prices were very reasonable. Looking forward to going back! read more

We love this place! Such a fun place to go to brunch. I love that there is music; feels very different than the typical "Utah" brunch place. The food is fantastic. Excellent food. Trey was great! Excellent service. Cool vibe. The guacamole was excellent and we had an excellent time.

Was really excited to see the newest Mexican restaurant in the area. I like the security guard. I feel so secure. Opened the door and was greeted by the thumping loud music. I like music in the background while having a meal. This was like going into a club in NY. The herd of hostesses had no clue. We were told that it would be an hour wait. Empty tables.. Go figure. We went to the bar for a drink. We ordered a margarita that was smoke infused. Fancy. They were good but I am still out on smoke infused. Try something different. It was good. They had a woman dancing with a ribbon. The music was so loud that we could hardly hear one another's conversation. We decided to leave. Too loud. read more

Ambiance- The inside of Las Botellas is nothing short of spectacular. My girlfriend and I were blown away! Perfect atmosphere for a date night. Nothing else like it here in Utah. Service- Our server Trey was a rockstar. As a man who grew up in a family with a fine dining restaurant, I am very particular about steps of service. Trey delivered. He was attentive to our needs and made sure we were properly taken care of at each step of the experience. Food- Trey made great menu suggestions. To start we had the Chicken Tinga Flautas and the house guacamole. Both were excellent. For entrees I had the 20oz steak and the esquites and my girlfriend had the pork tacos. The esquites was a good size to share. Overall we had a 5 star experience. Will definitely be coming back again and will be requesting Trey! read more

It was great beautiful seating on the patio with fires and candles. Definitely gives you Mexico resort vibes. Perfect for a date night, I was dressed up but you wouldn't know you needed to be until you get there. We had the aged ribeye opted out of the wagu beef, $70 an ounce, worth it? You decide, I've had authentic wagu, call me crazy but I still prefer a bone in rib-eye, most of the entrees are decently priced, we had the shrimp ceviche it was definitely authentic. Had I known I would have ordered this alone, I had the salmon Caesar so good , 2 dirty martinis 2 coronas, $400 with $100 tip not bad I was thoroughly impressed!! Our server was pretty new they all were they just opened, and he was the kindest most attentive server we've had in the city, the customer service here blew smoke up everyone's else read more

This place was so over hyped by SLC foodies I am almost certain they were paid to do so. The food was okay, I'd give 3/5 stars. Everything is extremely OVER priced. I went because I thought there was a show of girls and it was so mediocre. Not what I was expecting at all. This is not a place you'd go to just for dinner, but maybe on a special occasion and once. read more

The ambiance of this restaurant is amazing! It does not feel like you are in Riverton, but in the downtown of some large urban city. Trey was our server and took good care of us. The guacamole and chips were some of the best I've ever had, but at $20 it was a bit steep. Our tacos were really good, but with my queso birria tacos, the ratio of cheese to beef was off. Way too much cheese. My husband had the fish tacos and the sauce was tasty but there was too much of it and it overpowered the fish. I could have given 5 stars with a few minor adjustments. read more

This is a place that I would go down to Vegas and experience. I definitely was not dressed to the nines like everyone else, but I was fine with it. The food was good, but nothing to come back for. My husband and I may come back to have drinks and appetizers at the bar occasionally. We did enjoy the atmosphere. The waitress was extremely nice and personable. The front desk staff, specifically the guy, was not impressed we showed up not dressed in our best...a little snooty but he tried his professional best. We came. We ate. We might not ever come back. It's one of those places you go, you get the experience, then you move on to the next new restaurant. read more

Cool interior and yummy food. Nothing like it in Utah. Loved the brunch as well. Fire dancers were fun and the coffee was amazing.

I don't know if the service or food was more disappointing. The only somewhat nice thing about it is the decor - but even then I rather eat in a mediocre decorated place than a looks only place with mediocre food. We got the enchilada and chile relleno which was very underwhelming. I can't say what I do recommend getting because nothing we got was worth a recommendation. The dessert was the chocolate cake which was very disappointing. The server talked up the chocolate cake like it was the best thing ever (he did that about everything on the menu which was quite frustrating - clearly he's more interested in selling than serving). read more

Thank you Las Botellas for bringing an experience like this to Utah! They absolutely kill it. The attention to detail in everything, the food, the drinks, the decor, the fire dancing, is unmatched. The food and drinks are pricey, but SO delish! The carne asada tacos were mouth watering and the margaritas were all wonderful. Try the coffee. You won't regret it!! We will definitely be going back! read more

Amazing food and amazing service. Went there 2 times when they first opened. And once this month. Continues to get better.

The ambiance is very fun. The restaurant is beautiful. It was fun to see the fire dancer. I do think some of the food is slightly overpriced. However, sides are larger enough for 2-3 people to share, I wish they had mentioned that. Table side guac is not worth the extra cost; the house guac is the exact same thing for half. Churro dessert is overrated. It's very greasy. read more

Horrible service! We waited two and a half hours for food after sitting down. We came in on a Tuesday night and it was NOT busy. The food was good, not great. Unfortunately the service was terrible and all the food was extremely overpriced for the quality we refe

Beautiful restaurant, atmosphere was beautiful, the service was great. SADLY the FOOD was UNDERWHELMING. What I ordered was not to par for the hefty price. While the presentation, was lovely, eating it was not the same experience. I ordered the chicken tamarind tacos. While I usually pass on chicken tacos and go for the pork and or stake tacos, the tamarind chicken tacos sounded intriguing and wanted to taste them. They were not spectacular. First, the corn tortillas, for being homemade, they were dry and stale. I've had amazing soft corn tortillas at way less expensive places. At this caliber of a restaurant for them to be stale - not acceptable. The chicken was dry- and the tamarind, I wouldn't know it was tamarind seasoned, if it wasn't in the name. I was expecting a juicy chicken in a savory with maybe a hint of sweetness tamarind sauce. $19 for those tacos? Nope. The esquite (corn) was delicious- $10, pricy, but it was good and a nice portion. I'm not mad about paying that much for it at a nice restaurant. I am about the tacos. My friend ordered the Chile relleno, the mole had no flavor. Just had one flavor tone. $24 4 pieces of hamachi while it was good. Not worth the price. 5 stars for the service and atmosphere- 2 stars for the food. The person who recommended it to me was also underwhelmed by the food. I wanted to try it for myself because maybe it was just her. Sadly we experienced the same. Another thing; how on a Monday at 6pm you "run out" of queso fundido? Which I wanted to try, the "ran out" Final thought - if I'm going to a high end restaurant, I truly don't mind paying the prices, but EVERYTHING on the menu needs to be and taste exceptional..Everything!! I don't want to leave disappointed on the dish that I ordered and wished I should've gotten something else. read more

This was an interesting experience. Obviously new as they haven't quite decided if their ambiance is fine dining or music blasting party, it looks like they've opted for both. So you can look at nice things but not hear your party conversations. The wait staff is nice but it doesn't make up for the 30 min waiting for drinks and the 2 hours waiting for food. Additionally, I don't think it's appropriate to bring out an entire party's food except one that they brought a half hour later. Overall the service was terrible and the food was subpar, probably better than Applebees but definitely worse than Blue Iguana. Not worth the almost $100 per person to try. read more

honestly the food was amazing, rich flavor and awesome customer service from Mia , overall everything went excellent, i highly recommend this place , the wife likes the margaritas and food , i like my modelo and the food , the ceviche and the fried calamari was great, exceded my expectations, the fried fish taco were delicious, i dont complain about prices cause if you are ready to go out and have good time with your partner, this is the place , something nice and good i have no issues paying high dollars. read more

Pretty good food, the place is SO loud though! Our waitress was nice and helpful with menu choices.

The grand opening of Las Botellas at Mountain View Village in Riverton was so awesome!! It is hard to be objective about something so cool so close to home, but I will try. It isn't just another restaurant. It has a club vibe, there is a DJ inside the restaurant and some dancers. It was opening night, so there were some hits and a few misses. I tried the Queso Fundido, and it was very good. The tableside guacamole was a miss. I dont think our server made it right. Also, I don't mind small portions, but for a table of 4, it was way too small. I really liked the 45-day dry-aged ribeye! It was cooked properly and had a great flavor. The steak A La Roca was good but a bit overcooked and not as good as the ribeye. The Elote side dish was really great! Tons of flavor. The mushrooms were odd, no seasoning at all. Wouldn't order them again. As far as the desserts go, they were all fantastic except for one of them. I absolutely loved the Coconut Flan, Tres Leches, and Churro Ice Cream sandwich!! They were all so great! The corn and blueberry Bunuelos were not good. There was no corn or blueberries in the dessert, just a fried crisp on a plate with a few blackberries and some weird sauce. I'm sure that over time, the menu will get better, and they will remove and add some new items. The things that really mattered were awesome. It is so cool to see high-end experiential dining finally start to come to Utah. The restaurant itself is beautiful and still will be 20 years from now. If loud music, dancers, and having fun bother you. Don't go! read more

Honestly I was super excited to try this new restaurant. I made reservation but there was no option to pick inside or outside and upon arrival we got placed outside in the sun at a table that wasn't even set up. When we asked the hostess before sitting if we could be placed inside they said it would be an hour and a half of a wait.... There were flies everywhere outside swarming the tables and the sun was directly in our eyes so it was completely unenjoyable. WHY EVEN MAKE A RESERVATION IF THATS WHERE YOU GET SAT. Only reason I gave two stars was because the waitress was very nice and understanding when we left. read more
