Having moved from the Midwest to Colorado, I am always delighted when I find a restaurant with perfectly made cheese curds! Also, their fried pickles are chips not spears (the proper way to make fried pickles) that also delighted me. They have a wall of TVs above the bar. So, we will be back for sporting events.

For entrees we got the lobster roll and the fish n chips. All enjoyable, but not worth the price in my opinion. The lobster roll was a bit small and for almost $50 that was a bit of a letdown. Enjoyable for sure, but wouldn't order again at that price point. The duck fat fries were good and we enjoyed them with the aioli. Brooke was our server and she was warm and attentive. Would dine in again, but would also make a few different choices next time.

We sort of gnawed on them to make them softer and, in fairness, we cleaned the plate. For drinks, we tried a tiki-themed cocktail and a mocktail. Both were good. Our service was good. Parking can be a little difficult in this area but we found metered street parking about a block away. Watch your teeth if you see any bagels on your plate.

I went to Beer Hall for Halloween during a bar crawl, and unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. The security guard repeatedly bumped into my friends and me, and when my friend politely asked him to say "excuse me," he became defensive and argumentative. Instead of de-escalating the situation, he instructed his coworker to escort us out without cause. It was clear that the security staff were more interested in asserting authority than maintaining a safe and welcoming environment. Their unprofessional behavior and inflated egos ruined what should have been a fun night. I don't recommend coming here if you're looking to enjoy yourself or be treated with basic respect. read more

I live in RINO but I will gladly go out of my way and head to a truly good Philly bar in the DU hood - Asbury Provisions - whose owner/operators are South Philly born and bred. Larimer Beer Hall isn't even a traditional German style Beer Hall, it's just ANOTHER typical run-of-the-mill sports bar in Lodo. If you're familiar with Philly bars... LBH is like a douchey Mad River sports bar while Asbury is a classic Philly bar like P.O.P.E. or Monk's Cafe (+TVs). read more

LBH gets my nod for the best bar in the stadium area. Awesome happy hour, very nice beer selection, amazing staff, and if you're hungry, two words: Juicy Lucy. It can get a little full and rowdy after Rockies games, but what's not to like about a fun environment like that? They are doing a lot of work to open up more rooftop space and I'm certainly looking forward to that. Great job, Larimer Beer Hall! read more

It's alright. Falling Rock right down the street has more taps, better options, is much bigger, and the staff a bit more knowledgeable. Unfortunately, downtown Denver has been overrun by bros, sluts, college kids, and just the scum of society, especially on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights.
