I brought my wedding dress here for alterations. Maureen already knew what needed to be done just…read moreby looking at it on me, but she still listened to my requests and concerns, she was very nice, attentive and understanding. Maureen is very skilled in her work. She took in some inches around my bust and added a bustle for the long train on my dress. Her prices are fair and affordable, and she has a quick turn around time for alterations! For my wedding dress, she had it ready in 2 weeks. My wedding dress zipper kept getting stuck even though tried to adjust it, so she replaced the whole zipper entirely, and it was perfect! I also brought my reception dress here for alterations as well. After my wedding, I brought both dresses and my veil back for dry cleaning, and she had it ready for pick up in 3 days. I will definitely recommend her to everyone I know. She did a wonderful job!!

Came here after getting quite a few quotes in the area for a hem and shoulder adjustment/alteration…read morefor a bridesmaid dress. Over messages I was given a rough estimate of $40 for the hem and $20 for a shoulder take in, which was lower than the quotes I was receiving from other places. When I came in, my total to be paid at pick up was at $110. $90 for the hem, $20 for the shoulder. Of course, a quote is dependent on material, difficulty, etc., so I did not complain, but quote versus actual prices ended up being almost double. For a satin, a-line, unlined dress, this price was higher than what any from my group of bridesmaid with the same dress paid at other places. When I came in to pay and receive the dress she again upped the price by $5, making my total $115, which I found out after, was not the price given on my receipt when the dress was dropped off ($110) The actual work was fine and did the job, and the shop owner was very nice, but I do not think I would return here after my own personal experience.

Came here to get my bridesmaid dress hemmed for a friend's wedding…read more The couple that owns this shop is super kind. The lady was so patient as she got the right measurements to hem my dress. Price was great, and I got my dress back within a week. Would definitely recommend!

I went to this tailor out of convenience since I live in the area. What a mistake. I've gone on (3)…read moreoccasions. The first time I had (2) pairs of mountain biking pants that needed zipper and a belt repair. When I received the pants, the belt repair was fine. The zipper on the other pair broke again the second time I used the pants. Within 2 weeks of the first time I went in, I went back the second time to get the zipper fixed again. The lady ended up charging me another $20 to fix the zipper. I didn't feel great about this since I used the pants, but it wasn't worth arguing about. I made sure to have a discussion / agreement with the owner that in the future, if the same zipper broke in the immediate future they would fix it free of charge - which they agreed to. The third time I went was to get a different set of zippers fixed on a pair of mountain biking pants. We agreed (2) zippers would be replaced with new ones and the cost was $40. When I went back in to pick up the zipper the zippers functioned, but they looked eerily the same. I asked the lady and the husband 3 times... are you sure these are new zippers? They assured me they were. I paid them and went home. Upon stepping inside my house, I zipped the pants and pocket zipper up and down again and low and behold, the zipper popped open. Upon closer inspection, the zippers were the exact same broke zipper that I brought in originally. I could tell the pull tab paint was warn and not new. All this supposed tailer did was take my same old broken zipper and placed the pull tab back. This was a band aid fix, and not the replacement of zippers we agreed to. I was furious that I had to return again. I showed the lady that these zippers were the same (and not new) based on the wear on the pull tab and that we agreed / admitted they were not new. I felt obligated to tell her she shouldn't lie to her customers and she agreed and apologized a number of times. Now that I'm thinking about this, this they probably didn't properly fix my zippers the first time - which is why I also had to go back... Long story short I demanded my money back and will not go back for anything in the future. I would recommend you not go to this super shady tailer as well based on my experience.

I came in with my own fabric and just an image of what I wanted for both the shirt and dress for our wedding and they turned it into something even better than I imagined. The entire process took about 6 weeks, and throughout that time Jenny and Susan were incredible. They guided me every step of the way, kept me updated, and were always responsive via text, which made everything feel so easy and stress-free. Very flexible for when I can come in too.I drove 90 minutes for fittings on two separate Saturdays, and it was absolutely worth it. By the third fitting, everything was perfect, I took it home and couldn't have been happier with the final result. Their attention to detail, patience, and dedication to getting everything just right really shows. If you're looking for someone who can take your idea and turn it into something stunning, this is the place. Highly, highly recommend! Fabric plus work was $2000 compared to god knows how much for something I probably would just accept. This is true art and Jenny Susan I hope you're here for years to come.
