I needed my dress to be raised about 1 1/2 inches--no other alteration. Owner refused to give me receipt or a price, but expected me to only pay cash, and falsely lamented it'd be "very difficult and would take at least 10 days to alter." I called 2 days later (because I knew it wasnt a difficult fix) and they admitted it was ready. My mom came to pick up my dress and they charged us $100 in cash! I went in today to resolve this, and made it plain that I plan on escalating the issue if they don't refund us. So this is me escalating the issue. I'm attaching 3 images of the inside of their uncleanly shop; you'll notice food, loose wiring hanging from the ceiling, and just general dirtiness. read more

I went to this tailor out of convenience since I live in the area. What a mistake. I've gone on (3) occasions. The first time I had (2) pairs of mountain biking pants that needed zipper and a belt repair. When I received the pants, the belt repair was fine. The zipper on the other pair broke again the second time I used the pants. Within 2 weeks of the first time I went in, I went back the second time to get the zipper fixed again. The lady ended up charging me another $20 to fix the zipper. I didn't feel great about this since I used the pants, but it wasn't worth arguing about. I made sure to have a discussion / agreement with the owner that in the future, if the same zipper broke in the immediate future they would fix it free of charge - which they agreed to. The third time I went was to get a different set of zippers fixed on a pair of mountain biking pants. We agreed (2) zippers would be replaced with new ones and the cost was $40. When I went back in to pick up the zipper the zippers functioned, but they looked eerily the same. I asked the lady and the husband 3 times... are you sure these are new zippers? They assured me they were. I paid them and went home. Upon stepping inside my house, I zipped the pants and pocket zipper up and down again and low and behold, the zipper popped open. Upon closer inspection, the zippers were the exact same broke zipper that I brought in originally. I could tell the pull tab paint was warn and not new. All this supposed tailer did was take my same old broken zipper and placed the pull tab back. This was a band aid fix, and not the replacement of zippers we agreed to. I was furious that I had to return again. I showed the lady that these zippers were the same (and not new) based on the wear on the pull tab and that we agreed / admitted they were not new. I felt obligated to tell her she shouldn't lie to her customers and she agreed and apologized a number of times. Now that I'm thinking about this, this they probably didn't properly fix my zippers the first time - which is why I also had to go back... Long story short I demanded my money back and will not go back for anything in the future. I would recommend you not go to this super shady tailer as well based on my experience. read more

DIRTY WORK SPACE AND HIDES FEES. My girlfriend came in to tailor a dress. She wanted to ask for an adjustment for the torso portion and for the dress to be raised an inch. The tailor refused to do the top part and said she only wanted to raise it an inch. Said that it was okay. We constantly asked her how much it would be and kept saying things like "ohhh I don't know. It's hard work. It's 10 days of work." and other nonsense to get around telling us. We asked her repeatedly to call us with the price before anything happened. We called 3 days later and she said the dress was done. We were so confused because she said it would take 10 days and she never told us the price. Anyway, we came to pick it up and asked her about the price again and she hit us with a $100 fee, which was insane! Keep in mind that she said she wasn't going to do the top either, but when she tried on the dress, the top fit differently. She altered the top and made it worse when the only agreed upon thing was trimming the bottom. It didn't make any sense. The cherry on top to this was how dirty the space was. She literally had a HEAD OF LETTUCE and other food sitting on her tools. So gross!! Do not recommend! 0/5 stars. read more

I brought a formal dress in to be hemmed. As the man was pinning the dress, he asked if the front looked good and I said yes. We didn't talk about the back. The mirror is so far away from where he is pinning and the lighting is not good, I don't know if he pinned the back or not. She would not quote a price as I left - just "it'll be a lot of work". When I picked up the dress, I found out the charge was $75. I paid the $75 - it's a closer fitting dress with 2 layers - a lining and chiffon. After trying the dress on at home, the back was too long as it dragged on the floor. He pointed out that was the style of the dress - longer in the back. I wasn't aware of that. I asked to make it shorter which they seemed fine with. As I left the store, I tried to confirm "No cost?" She said it's a lot of work and wanted to charge $30. I reluctantly offered $20. When I went back to pick up the dress, the hem was done well, I gave her the $20 as she shook her disapproving head. read more

I had eight pairs of jeans hemmed for six bucks each. They did an excellent job and I plan to use them again in the future.

Wow this place sucks. I paid 200+ for $700 worth of uniform and they did a horrendous job. I told them specifically what I wanted for my coat and all they did was to complain that it took the whole day to do it, not to mention that the part I wanted them to tailor wasn't at all tailored. The coat looks absolutely uneven and hideous and I am not going to ask them to tailor it again lest they ruin it beyond repair. And they're fellow Christians. read more
