Awesome spot for dinner in the heart of Manhattan. Lots of drinks to choose from, plenty of different entree options - particularly, lobster ravioli and shrimp cocktail tasted great. I also like the mix of modern and old touches in the interior. A+ service. Highly recommend.

Great find in the theater district! Came here after a Broadway show on a Sunday afternoon. It was raining so we were doing a search of places nearby. It came up in our search that they offer a free espresso martini if you have a same day theater ticket. We called to confirm and then walked over. Very lovely and large space inside. The staff was attentive and friendly and helpful with our questions. This whiskey-based espresso martini is SO GOOD. Might be one of the best I've had. We also ordered food - reuben sandwich (includes fries), burger with added cheese (also includes fries). We took advantage of the all day Sunday happy hour by ordering an additional drink. Unfortunately it turns out the "house" whiskey ginger I ordered is made with Maker's Mark so it cost more than I was looking to spend. (I didn't know this until after we got the bill. I should have confirmed price first, then I would have ordered something else instead.)

We really enjoyed our dinner here. It wasn't too loud like most of the other restaurants we went to. We ordered two cocktails and they accidentally made an extra, so they let us keep it which was nice. My husband had the shepherds pie which he thought was better than my short rib pappardelle, but honestly, both were great. The sticky toffee pudding is definitely worth ordering too. Only complaint is that they didn't mark me as attending my reservation so OpenTable reached out to me about their cancellation policy and how I had violated it. Other than that it was a pleasant experience.

Fun, festive busy Irish bar in midtown NYC. Would recommend if you are a meat eater and/or like Irish food. I didn't see much I wanted to try. The cocktails I tried were pretty but very sweet.

I visited Langans for the first time with my coworkers for dinner. The restaurant is close by time square so very convenient to walk over from the office. They had lots of space for large parties. We make a reservation same day and they have availability to accommodate us. The restaurant was busy. They had music on but we were able to have conversations. I had the Ceasar salad and it was good but it had too much dressing. Next time I would order the dressing on the side. My coworker was raving about the onion soup sandwich. Everyone was happy with the food that we ordered and we do plan on returning.

We stopped by for an early dinner before the play. Very nice ambiance, the feel of an old but upscale pub. Most of the tables are bar tables with high chairs. Decent selection of beers and cocktails - I had Guinness (appropriate :)), and my wife had Bloody Mary and she said it was tasty. We all wanted Dublin chowder as a starter, but the restaurant was sadly out of it. I had French Dip which was generous and delicious. My wife had fish and chips which was also excellent. We shared toffee pudding for dessert, it was very good. Good service, prompt and friendly. Recommended.

I love being greeted and seated right away, especially when I don't have a reservation. If you're heading to see a show, getting a good meal beforehand is a must. Come eat here, and I promise you'll enjoy your show without blaming yourself for sitting through a two-hour Broadway performance on an empty stomach.Langan's currently has a Fall Prix Fixe menu that's a great deal. I love saving money, and I don't know anyone who doesn't, so definitely check out the prix fixe option. Make sure to save room for dessert because I have a weakness for bread pudding--and the Sticky Toffee Pudding was absolutely delectable. Do yourself a favor and come here before your show so you can truly enjoy the experience.

Amazing food and awesome service! Sierra was our server and she was charming and attentive, as well as a lot of fun. I got shepherds pie and my husband got the chicken. We also shared shrimp cocktail and dessert. It was the perfect meal for a rainy evening in New York. Definitely check it out!

Spacious and warm setting with attentive service. It is listed as a steakhouse, but overall it has a large bar set up that was comfortable. The ahi tuna app was spectacular. The reuben spring rolls were quality but a tad bland and the wrap for it wasn't very crispy. The menu overall has a nice layout of some unique and varied food options.

Irish Coffee Martini

A classy, Irish-American restaurant that offers a mix of classic Irish mains, and unique flatbread and appetizer options. The bar offers a lot of seating and the bartenders are extremely attentive. Highly recommend. Tip: if you are watching a broadway show, show your ticket to get a free Irish coffee martini!

We came here right when they opened at 11:30am on a Saturday for brunch. Surprisingly, we're the only ones in here for about an hour! I love the way they decorated the place. It's very cute. It was extraordinarily clean, especially for a restaurant near Times Square. Our server was Francesca. She was amazing! She was very attentive, and sweet. We got the croque madam, omelette, and French toast. We also had the purple haze cocktail and a coffee. I was surprised to find the coffee was VERY good. We drank it black. And as far as cocktails go, it was perfectly balanced and refreshing. One of the best cocktails I've had near Times Square. All of the food was seasoned perfectly, and was delicious. We got the chocolate mousse for desert, and even that was top notch! It wasn't too sweet, and it was the perfect amount for 3 of us to have a couple of bites and be satisfied. Overall, a great experience!

I came here before watching Maybe Happy Ending. It's such a great place! I'd love to come back. I walked in and was firstly struck by how beautiful it is inside! The high ceilings, wood, leather, herringbone wood floors, I'm all for it. The hostess took me to a table in the back and kindly asked if I wanted to be seated in a quieter area. So thoughtful! The waitress was wonderful too! Since I was seeing a show, I was able to show my ticket and get a free espresso martini! Not only was it free but it was delicious! Probably the best espresso martini I've ever had. It was strong (alcohol wise) but not enough to have you questioning your life choices and strong espresso wise. The caesar salad was excellent too! Such a great experience! Thank you, Langan's!

It was my first time there but I was expecting the menu I saw online, not this new one. We tried 2 drinks: one inspired by Turkish figs and one inspired by lemons and the "Miracle Berry", which inverts your palate and turns sour into sweet! I really enjoyed both drinks. The figs one came with a sweet fig granola bite and the lemon one really did taste sweet after eating the "Miracle Berry"! I'd definitely come back to try their many other drinks.

I liked how they organized the menu by country/geography to facilitate an understanding of the flavor profiles. I got two of the date & fig-flavored smoked whisky drinks and it was a well made, balanced, and very good. Not cheap at some $25 or something, but middle of Manhattan with some creative ingredients means I guess it is what it is. Servers seemed a bit annoyed to have to deal with us shortly before close as I think they were hoping to usher people out and close down maybe a little early. One the one hand I get it, on the other hand you've got two paying customers on a slow night.

They're experimental, whimsical, delicious, and worth every penny. My absolute favorite is Child of Light, and my BF's was High Frequency Device. The interior was dimly lit, with a couple of candles per table or counter. It's a perfect place for a date night. And while there may be a wait on busier nights, it's always worth the wait. We were sat at the bar once and were very well taken care of by our bartender, Nikola. It was a Sunday night, so it wasn't terribly busy. We chatted up a storm and he was able to create some drinks off the menu just for fun (on request). He also made my BF and me a couple of drinks to celebrate our anniversary too. Wonderful people and wonderful service. Needless to say, we will be back as frequently as we can!

It was dark when we entered the coffee shop but an ajar door gave way to the bar. The decor is a homage to the works of Nikola Tesla, which can be seen in the subtle electric theme throughout the space and the naming of the cocktails. The space isn't too large - the bar and stools take up most of the space but they also have some booths/tables. The place looks great. The cocktail menu is very creative - I got one of their seasonal mixes that was actually two drinks in one. The main cocktail was meant to be sipped first and they provided a small glass of beer to be sipped after. The name escapes me but it was very good. Since we had cocktails at dinner, we only stayed for one round. Service was good, and overall I enjoyed my time at Patent Pending. I would definitely return to explore more of their menu.

As I walked in and saw just how swanky this place is I panicked - there was no way we could just walk in here without a reservation, right? But the hostess was, thankfully, so down to earth. I was straight up like hey I totally messed up and thought we could just walk in here, she was like you know what, let me see what we have. Lo and behold, she did have a table for us - as long as we were out in an hour and a half, which was just the right amount of time. Stepping into this place feels like you're in some secret, super special cocktail club. Decor is super high end, vibes are upscale AF. The cocktail menu is incredible -- and incredibly pricey, but truly worth it. I ordered the Valentino which was strong and sweet, really well made. They gave out a complimentary nut mix that was also delicious. Service was swift and gracious. If you're looking for a spot to impress a date, this is it.

The mint Moroccan tea gave the drink a cool, refreshing taste on every sip. I also tried the Silver Screen, the closest drink I could find to an old fashioned. We walked in without a reservation around 6:20 p.m., and they were able to accommodate us at a shared table until 7:15. The menu surprised me a bit. Since I associated the address with Eleven Madison Park, I wasn't expecting to see items like wings stuffed with sausage, which were done in partnership with Jungsik. We ordered those along with the mushroom burger and asked them to cut the burger in half for us. The cocktail menu was creative and a little intimidating, with unconventional ingredients like cream cheese and green curry. I went with a fruity Hendrick's-based drink, and my friend ordered the spicy green curry martini. Both were good. Mine didn't taste very strong, but it also wasn't overly sweet because there was enough bitterness to balance it out. The green curry martini was more adventurous but still worked. Service was mixed. There was a woman standing near us, so we tried ordering food with her, but she seemed hesitant to come over. Maybe she wasn't a server or was newer. For drinks, she brought over someone more seasoned, who quickly helped guide us based on our preferred taste profiles. Her suggestions were very good. The mushroom burger was the highlight for me. It was a little salty, but the crispy mushroom and soft bun were a great combination. I honestly wished I had more than half. The wings were okay. They were crispy on the outside and juicy inside, but coated in a Dorito-like powder that made them very messy. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'd come back, especially for the mushroom burger.
