I'll include a picture of their turf supplier so that anyone can see their suppliers' reviews as well. Sketchy business practices: There is no paper trail when giving payments. Thomas only wants cash or zelle and will not provide a schedule of payment dates. Instead, he'll text you the day before and say, "I need payment of $$$$ for supplies." The zelle linked to this company is neither of Thomas, his brother, or the company's. As stated before, there is no paper trail. Last one, after deciding halfway through the job that I wanted to go with an upgrade that we had previously discussed, I wanted to make sure we were on the same page on price. Thomas had quoted me with a balance that was $500 more than the original agreed amount. Fortunately for me, I caught the discrepancy in the quote, and I called it out. Seek several quotes: Their prices fall in line or higher than other licensed businesses in the AV. The only problem is that they're no longer licensed. Be aware of unlicensed businesses for obvious reasons.

Paul or Mark (they act like friendly country guys, but don't be fooled) quoted me $2,300--more than double another quote I received for $1,200. When I mentioned the lower bid, they immediately dropped their price to $1,200. That alone should've been a red flag. If they can slash their price by 50% in two minutes, imagine how much they're overcharging unsuspecting customers who don't get multiple quotes. Since I wasn't at the property, they sent me photos after the job. The palm trees looked fine, but the pine tree was barely touched. After asking for more trimming, I finally agreed it was acceptable. I gave them my credit card, and they charged $1,200. But right after charging me, they casually mentioned they broke the pipe connected to the water main. Funny how they waited until after payment to tell me that. I guided them over the phone to shut off the water, and they promised to fix it in the next day or two. On Monday, they claimed the leak was fixed and the system pressure-tested. I reminded them (again) to send me an invoice, but never received one. When I visited the property four days later, the hose bib was still leaking. No matter how tight I turned the handle, water kept dripping. I called them immediately, and instead of owning up to their poor repair, they blamed a mystery person for tampering with the faucet. Really? That's their excuse? They refused to come back to fix it. I ended up repairing it myself. When I disassembled the hose bib, I saw they had used way too much PVC glue, which hardened and prevented the washer from sealing properly. Total amateur work. Bottom line: Their customer service is terrible, their work is sloppy, and they don't take responsibility for their mistakes. Avoid this company unless you want to overpay for poor service and deal with headaches afterward. You've been warned.

I ended up hiring a different "licensed and insured" company who ended up being cheaper so I'm even saving money using them instead.
