I ordered both Cajun BBQ wings and duck wontons for my meal. The wings are decently sized and the Cajun BBQ sauce certainly has heat to it. I wish they were breaded wings because that's my preference, but they were good as is. I wouldn't be opposed to getting these again. The duck wontons were more egg roll like than I expected and you could tell there was freshness to the ingredients in them. My issue, though, was the duck didn't stand out at all. If that's supposed to be the star of the dish and the reason three egg rolls are $15, I would hope you could taste the duck. Also, they were nuclear hot inside and I recommend them cool for quite a while before eating them.

I pretty much order fish everytime I come here because they cook it to perfection and it's something I can't make at home as easily. I got the beer battered haddock with potato pancakes and both my wife and kids all got plain cheeseburgers with fries. We also shared mozzarella sticks and cheese curds. The mozzarella sticks are generic and taste like the kind you can get from Arby's or Walmart's hot deli bar. The cheese curds were also generic, but good. Both are cheap price wise compared to other restaurants, but you subsequently don't get a ton of curds given the low price. Six mozzarella sticks wasn't unreasonable. The cheeseburger was ok. It didn't have much, if any, seasoning, but at least had some char flavor. The fries weren't very crispy and were both bland and unsalted. The beer battered haddock (which I sadly forgot to take a picture of) only had two pieces for $15 and was some of the most disappointing fish I've had. I didn't care for the flavor of the breading and it was overcooked, so the breading was slightly burned and the fish was dry. The potato pancakes consisted of five or six small hashbrown circles. Though small, they were good. They were quite busy inside while we were there, so it took about 45 minutes to get our appetizers and an hour to get our entrees. The patio area is nice and offers shade in the evening. It was a cool night temperature wise, so a pleasant experience during our long wait. The inside was loud and the dining area isn't huge so I'm glad we sat outside.

The fact that we made special plans for Easter and had a friend in town from California we wanted to take her somewhere special really upset me. She actually told the waitress not to waste the overcooked beef she couldn't eat, but to give to someone's dog so it didn't go to waste. I've done bigger buffets myself and prime rib could have been sliced at omelet station. I will leave it at that.
