Each time I go to the Landmark Diner I am happy with my meal! It is a very large diner with two floors but usually seating is only on the first floor. Parking used to be difficult but the building next door is now vacant so parking is plentiful. Service was good - not necessarily friendly but he was attentive. It is a clean diner with ample seating, and fast service. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a traditional diner with many options on the menu.

so many gluten free options!! i was so happily surprised to see gluten free breads and pancakes on the menu so had to get one as a side to my eggs, and it was pretty good! our waiter was extremely friendly and delivered our food fast. he never rushed us and had a very pleasant experience here. i've been here a number of times but now that i know of the gluten free options, i will be back more often!

Even by Long Island diner standards, Landmark has a huge menu. You'll definitely find something you want to eat and it will taste great. Service and ambiance are fine. What more can you ask for from a diner?

Very traditional American diner with very good food. The portions sizes are very large and the dishes simple yet delicious! I would recommend trying their French toast - it was extremely scrumptious and soaked with eggs. Each bite led to a flavour explosion with a melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Decent diner! Fun menu with interesting options and fun names. Generous portion. Relatively reasonable time for food to come out. Tasty, generous portion. Bathrooms needed a little sprucing. Service was fine.

We are going to do a quick update here as this diner certainly still holds up. Not as great as it was last time I went, but I would keep this diner as a full four star spot. Came here initially to dine myself and then was met by my dad. I was seated by the counter at one of the smaller booths, which is great because I love dining in this area usually. Shout out to the woman who actually sat at the counter and ordered a glass of Merlot at 11:25am on a Tuesday. Do we all need to get on her level? Went simple this time and got the cole slaw with pickles and a French onion soup. The cole slaw was solid and the pickles were pretty generic. The French onion soup left something to be desired. It was jammed pack with cheese, onion straws and bread, but it just lacked flavor. The French onion grilled cheese I had on an earlier visit was a lot better and I think that's what I was hoping for. Finally, this diner is on the corner of Searington Road and Northern Blvd. so it's a great spot to meet someone quick for a cup of coffee, or for lunch. Also not too far from St. Francis hospital where there is a lack of food options.

Sorry Landmark Diner you are definitely a landmark to stay away from.... Or maybe change ya name to Landmine !!! So disappointed; $85 bucks wasted !!!! So we hit this diner at 2:30pm on Friday 11/17/23 Starving from being at ST. francis Hospital since 5:15 AM..... The place was empty just a few customers, as far as their cleanliness 4 out of 5, seemed like a decent diner to eat at..... Wrong !!!!!!! Soup came out with an ant on the dish !! Well done burger came out lukewarm !! Skirt Steak came out warm and totally raw on the thicker side !!! Onion Rings, also came out warm at best !!! Mac & Cheese, Zero taste out of the can & cold !! The waiter wanted to make it right and bring the food back but we were done !!!! The owner then comes over and apologizes and tells us desserts on the house, we were like really the entire bill should have been on the house !! A disgrace of an establishment I actually asked the owner if the dishwasher was doing the cooking ??? because we all know it does happen !!! Stay away, definitely can't and will not recommend !!! Good luck to you Landmark, Hope ya find a real cook soon before this cook puts out of business !!! Thanks for the most horrible food experience me and my wife have ever experienced in our lives !!! Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict Breakfast. Soooo good. One of my favorites and available 24/7, not just weekend brunch.

Omelet & Home Fries desperately needed seasoning on all levels. Chicken and Lemon Rice Soup was adequately flavored with a nice pucker but the Olive Oil used was flowery and overpowered the delicacy of this soup. The Grilled Chicken Salad (lettuce, cucumbers and tomatoes) on it's own was DELISH. The Caesar dressing that was different but edible, a little on the sweet and thin side. Thankfully, had some Homemade Caesar at home to compensate. Also, had a TEC (Turkey, freshly sliced off the bone, Egg (scrambled), and Cheese (Cheddar) on a large, pillowy roll. Enjoyable. Service...1 person put a SOUR taste in our mouths. Was immediately greeted by everyone, except the older lady who was supposed to take our order. We LITERALLY stood in front of the register for almost 10 minutes, while she greeted and helped EVERYONE around, on the side & behind us. An older jovial man finally greeted us and was apologetic and swift. If it wasn't for the long morning and afternoon we had, we would've taken our money elsewhere! It stayed busy and packed so get there early. They do try to be efficient when seating. Overall, we could give them another opportunity to see if the "selective service" by that 1 team member was a one-off! Street parking.

Food was pretty lackluster even for a diner. Onion rings were ok, chicken tenders were like every other cheap restaurants. Ordered the Chinese pork roast sandwich and was a total disappointment. Also did not give extras like other diners do. Only saving grace was Banana Silver Dollar pancakes. Service did go above, water was always full, chef and waiter helped get us an order they don't normally do. They went above what was needed. Inside was decorated really nicely, felt very festive and upbeat. Was not expecting that. If food wasn't sub par, would definitely be worth a stop. It looks like a repurposed railroad car and seems like it could roll away on wheels at any moment! The chrome exterior with a bright neon sign takes you back to the diners of the 50's and that's because the Mineola diner has been in business for 75 years! Inside, the lunch counter seating, Formica tables, vinyl booth bench seats and corner jukebox are typical of that era. The menu is more modern though with tabloid size printed plastic placards and separate specials card for brunch and drinks. Any diner worth their salt serves a full range of breakfast and that includes fried eggs (any way you want them), bacon, pancakes & omelets off the steel flat top grill. My wife orders from the breakfast specials menu, the Scott Tenorman Homemade Chili & Cheddar Omelet with Home Fries. Chili in an omelet is pretty original and it works. I have to try the homemade Corned Beef Hash topped with 2 eggs over EZ. The accompanying home fries are extra well done, just the way I like it with a crispy crust. I've had better hash, but it's not bad. Both breakfast platters come with your choice of buttered toast and I smother mine in runny egg yolk. We definitely found a gem here in the Mineola Diner and will have to make this a regular stop for breakfast and lunch! Too bad they don't serve dinner and only open until 2pm.

WE WERE OVERCHARGED TWICE BY $10! We ordered two omelets, and our check somehow came to $45 with no itemized breakdown. When we questioned it, our server--a petite brunette woman who appeared to be in her late 20s to early 30s--insisted it was correct. After we pushed back, she claimed she had confused our order with a different omelet. There isn't a single omelet on the menu that costs anywhere close to $22 each, and that excuse makes even less sense considering we were the only customers there. She adjusted the bill to $35, but the total should have been less than that as well. Even then, the tax was still wrong. On top of that, they added a credit card fee without any notice. There was no sign, no mention on the menu, and no warning beforehand. The food was just as disappointing. The home fries were mushy and barely edible. Despite overcharging us more than once, our server NEVER APOLOGIZED! Hidden fees, inaccurate charges, terrible service, and mediocre food--this place is a rip-off, and we definitely won't be back.

Wow, we were seriously impressed. Parking was easy with plenty of space, the diner itself was spotless, and the interior was bright and welcoming. The staff was friendly from the moment we walked in, and we were seated right away with no wait. Edgar took care of us and was fantastic. He was super friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming (and yes, "took care of us" feels more accurate than "waited on us"). We started with two soups: beef barley and lentil. Both were absolutely delicious, comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Of course, I had to try the mozzarella sticks, and they did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked, and the marinara sauce was thick, tasty, and not watery at all. For our entrees, we ordered the Philly cheesesteak melt and a beef/gyro panini. The portions were generous, and the flavor was even better than expected. Even when we were full halfway through, we still wanted to keep eating because they were just that good. We couldn't leave without dessert after walking past the display on the way in which showed so many options. We went with the chocolate layer cake, and holy moly. The slice was massive (looked like half a cake) and absolutely amazing. We couldn't finish it, probably should've skipped the fries , but it was hands down one of the best cakes we've had in a long time. Overall, an excellent diner experience from start to finish.
