so many gluten free options!! i was so happily surprised to see gluten free breads and pancakes on the menu so had to get one as a side to my eggs, and it was pretty good! our waiter was extremely friendly and delivered our food fast. he never rushed us and had a very pleasant experience here. i've been here a number of times but now that i know of the gluten free options, i will be back more often!

Even by Long Island diner standards, Landmark has a huge menu. You'll definitely find something you want to eat and it will taste great. Service and ambiance are fine. What more can you ask for from a diner?

Very traditional American diner with very good food. The portions sizes are very large and the dishes simple yet delicious! I would recommend trying their French toast - it was extremely scrumptious and soaked with eggs. Each bite led to a flavour explosion with a melt-in-your-mouth texture.

Decent diner! Fun menu with interesting options and fun names. Generous portion. Relatively reasonable time for food to come out. Tasty, generous portion. Bathrooms needed a little sprucing. Service was fine.

We are going to do a quick update here as this diner certainly still holds up. Not as great as it was last time I went, but I would keep this diner as a full four star spot. Came here initially to dine myself and then was met by my dad. I was seated by the counter at one of the smaller booths, which is great because I love dining in this area usually. Shout out to the woman who actually sat at the counter and ordered a glass of Merlot at 11:25am on a Tuesday. Do we all need to get on her level? Went simple this time and got the cole slaw with pickles and a French onion soup. The cole slaw was solid and the pickles were pretty generic. The French onion soup left something to be desired. It was jammed pack with cheese, onion straws and bread, but it just lacked flavor. The French onion grilled cheese I had on an earlier visit was a lot better and I think that's what I was hoping for. Finally, this diner is on the corner of Searington Road and Northern Blvd. so it's a great spot to meet someone quick for a cup of coffee, or for lunch. Also not too far from St. Francis hospital where there is a lack of food options.

Sorry Landmark Diner you are definitely a landmark to stay away from.... Or maybe change ya name to Landmine !!! So disappointed; $85 bucks wasted !!!! So we hit this diner at 2:30pm on Friday 11/17/23 Starving from being at ST. francis Hospital since 5:15 AM..... The place was empty just a few customers, as far as their cleanliness 4 out of 5, seemed like a decent diner to eat at..... Wrong !!!!!!! Soup came out with an ant on the dish !! Well done burger came out lukewarm !! Skirt Steak came out warm and totally raw on the thicker side !!! Onion Rings, also came out warm at best !!! Mac & Cheese, Zero taste out of the can & cold !! The waiter wanted to make it right and bring the food back but we were done !!!! The owner then comes over and apologizes and tells us desserts on the house, we were like really the entire bill should have been on the house !! A disgrace of an establishment I actually asked the owner if the dishwasher was doing the cooking ??? because we all know it does happen !!! Stay away, definitely can't and will not recommend !!! Good luck to you Landmark, Hope ya find a real cook soon before this cook puts out of business !!! Thanks for the most horrible food experience me and my wife have ever experienced in our lives !!! Smoked Salmon Eggs Benedict Breakfast. Soooo good. One of my favorites and available 24/7, not just weekend brunch.

Service - 4/5 - went above whats needed. Ambiance - 4/5 - nice vibe and decorated nicely. Overall - 3/5 - ok spot. Service and ambiance were better than expected but food was sub par. Food was pretty lackluster even for a diner. Onion rings were ok, chicken tenders were like every other cheap restaurants. Ordered the Chinese pork roast sandwich and was a total disappointment. Also did not give extras like other diners do. Only saving grace was Banana Silver Dollar pancakes. Service did go above, water was always full, chef and waiter helped get us an order they don't normally do. They went above what was needed. Inside was decorated really nicely, felt very festive and upbeat. Was not expecting that. If food wasn't sub par, would definitely be worth a stop. I was reading some reviews that the burgers are great here but I ordered a pork medallion dish that was a special that evening instead. All I wanted were sautéed onions in my dish, not the other vegetables which was probably why my plate was loaded with onions! So much in fact you couldn't see the meat, LOL! But, it was very tasty and served over some rice. Not enough room for more with all the onions. I would get it again though, just half the onions next time. The matzah ball soup was delicious! A big bowl with a lot of flavor served with lots of chicken, veggies and a big matzah ball! I also have to mention the bread basket with garlic bread that is brought to your table to start and it was really tasty! Portions are very big, there was plenty left over for dinner the next night! My future SIL ordered the Chicken Parmesean and it was really good (I tasted some) that he finished it all! My daughter ordered the half spring chicken served over an apple stuffing. That was really delicious (I tasted some ) so if I don't order a burger next time, I will be getting the chicken. Dessert was OK, I got the cheesecake and it was fresh and creamy! Overall, food was good as was the service! I will go back again if I'm in the area!

The interior gives that nostalgic retro diner feel. On a Saturday afternoon, our wait was about 25-30 mins, but it flew by quickly. Thomas's is beyond generous with their portions from the egg skillets to the pancakes. Prices are extremely reasonable for the portions. And most importantly, everything here is absolutely delicious. My fiance & I ordered two orders of the blueberry pancakes, which was a mistake because of how MASSIVE each order was; we could've easily split one. We also ordered the sides of corned beef hash and ham steak. Highly highly recommend both. The corned beef hash is SO delicious & homemade, and the ham steak is huge! The staff here are really lovely and attentive. Our coffee cups never went empty. Parking is available on site, but incredibly difficult to get a spot. I wouldn't bet on parking here - be prepared to park elsewhere and walk over. Definitely our new go to diner spot!

We've been there several times, and while not everything is amazing, the food is generally good and comforting. The star of the menu for me is the avocado toast - that's where they really get it right. The avocado toast is consistently fresh, well seasoned, and perfectly done every time. The pancakes are also very good: fluffy, tasty, and great for a weekend breakfast or brunch. One small thing that would make the experience even better is hot syrup. Warm syrup with those pancakes would take them to the next level. Service can be hit or miss depending on the day. On a previous visit, we had a server who dropped off the food and then basically disappeared until it was time for the check, which was disappointing. On our most recent visit, though, our server was the complete opposite: very attentive, friendly, and professional. It really made a difference in how much we enjoyed the meal. When we arrived this time, there was a line, but since there were only two of us and a table had just opened up, we were seated right away. That was a nice surprise and helped start the visit on a good note. All in all, Floral Park Diner is a nice local place, especially for breakfast or brunch. The food is good diner fare, some dishes shine more than others, and when the service is "on," it's a very pleasant experience. I'd recommend it if you're in the area and want a relaxed, neighborhood spot with great avocado toast and solid breakfast options. Quick summary: Excellent avocado toast - my favorite item Good pancakes (would love hot syrup) Service can be inconsistent Friendly, attentive service on our latest visit Convenient local spot for breakfast or brunch

Wow, we were seriously impressed. Parking was easy with plenty of space, the diner itself was spotless, and the interior was bright and welcoming. The staff was friendly from the moment we walked in, and we were seated right away with no wait. Edgar took care of us and was fantastic. He was super friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming (and yes, "took care of us" feels more accurate than "waited on us"). We started with two soups: beef barley and lentil. Both were absolutely delicious, comforting, flavorful, and clearly made with care. Of course, I had to try the mozzarella sticks, and they did not disappoint. Perfectly cooked, and the marinara sauce was thick, tasty, and not watery at all. For our entrees, we ordered the Philly cheesesteak melt and a beef/gyro panini. The portions were generous, and the flavor was even better than expected. Even when we were full halfway through, we still wanted to keep eating because they were just that good. We couldn't leave without dessert after walking past the display on the way in which showed so many options. We went with the chocolate layer cake, and holy moly. The slice was massive (looked like half a cake) and absolutely amazing. We couldn't finish it, probably should've skipped the fries , but it was hands down one of the best cakes we've had in a long time. Overall, an excellent diner experience from start to finish. We'll definitely be back and will likely become regulars. It's that good.
