Lamba Latte and tiramisu holiday drink
    Tracey L.

This place is so cute, especially during the holidays. Lamppost currently has holiday drinks and their Christmas tree up . I got the lamba latte, if it's your first time going here I recommend this. Lamppost has their own special sweetener for this drink, I always get mine 1/2 sweet and it's just perfection. My husband got the tiramisu drink and said it was delicious. Also, the service her is always friendly and they will customize your drink if needed. If you are here for breakfast, I recommend making it a breakfast date my getting the breakfast tacos next door .

I told my neighbor about Summer Moon and he started raving about Lamppost so.... Here I am! I'm not a coffee connoisseur but I'll tell you Lamppost Coffee is definitely more delicious. I got the lamba coffee which contains their signature syrup. The coffee tastes rich and comforting with a distinct sweet taste that I love. I came here a second time to try the old fashioned and the coffee tastes a little bit stronger, less sweet than the lamba with a hint of cinnamon. It's also good but I prefer the lamba. This place is pretty spacious with plenty of comfortable seats for work or chatting with friends. The music is soft and smooth for a relaxing stop.

A visit to Austin meant trying a new coffee shop. This was close to my friends house and had pretty decent reviews so decided to give it a try. It's nestled in a strip mall with ample parking. I was shocked to see how large the inside was there's two separate seating areas With so much space, so this is honestly a great place to work with pretty reliable Wi-Fi. The guy at the front taking the order was such a sweetheart and made some pretty good recommendations. They also have a good selection of baked goods including bagels, but I'm definitely a fan of chocolate chip cookie so I had to give this one a try. I was not disappointed, it's large, chewy and taste incredible. The guy working there recommended that we try something off of their winter menu in which we did. I ordered the cherry vanilla sage latte, but got it iced and it was pretty good. My friend ordered the tiramisu latte and that was also very good, not too sweet. This places have pretty average pricing for a coffee shop and the folks working there are very friendly. If you're on the hunt for a low-key coffee shop this is definitely a place to check out. My review is as follows: - Food: 5/5 - Service: 5/5 - Ambiance: 4.5/5

Had to get a cup of coffee before heading to the airport and stumbled upon this place. Of course I'm going to try their highlighted coffee latte which is the Lamba Coffee. Got it hot with oat milk. Very rich and sweet so I would definitely bring it down a notch on sweetness, but the velvety texture and balance of flavor is perfect. Also grabbed a chocolate chip cookie simply because it looked ginormous. Service is excellent. I forgot to mention that I wanted oat milk after I paid and they gladly took care of it. Place was pretty busy for a Tuesday morning.

Amazing coffee shop! Lamppost Coffee is spacious, well kept, and has delicious drinks! I've been here numerous times in the short time period I've moved to town, and the drinks have me coming back! The customer service here is phenomenal and all the employees are friendly. Great place to grab a drink, get some work done, or casually socialize. My go-to coffee shop!

This is THE BEST coffee place. Everything here is so amazing. The staff, food, coffee, the vibe, the merch, literally everything. I have to say what I look forward to the most is the wonderful people working. They create the sweetest environment ever. They will remember you and your order if you keep coming. I would recommend the Avocado Toast and the iced lamba latte (I add cinnamon in mine 12/10)! Plus they just now made a few changes with the set up, so go check it out!!

Hot Lamba Latte w/ oat milk, Jalapeño Cheddar Bagel w/ cream cheese on the side, & seasonal hot tiramisu latte w/ oat milk. Yum!

Just moved here not too long ago, so exploring coffee shops is what we love to do within the Austin area! First thing, we were welcomed by the staff member as soon as we walked in (A+ first impression). The gentle man that was working was super friendly during our order process. Even mentioned the seasonal drink options, which included very interesting choices like the cherry vanilla sage latte (I'll have to try out next time) and tiramisu latte. They have pastries as well with gluten free/dairy free bread options. I chose the poppy lemon seed bread slice, which I ate already so it didn't make the picture haha. The staff members served us our drinks/bagel, which I didn't expect that. Very kind of them to do so, since I was carrying my son the entire time. Coffee tasted soooo smooth and super balanced (didn't taste acidic either!). The bagel OMG was amazing too! Toasted perfectly! We will return! Apparently a lot of the Round Rock High School students hang around here, so just be mindful of them within the parking lot area.

Found this cute coffee shop up in round rock! Just outside a nice neighborhood, right by the high school. Loads of parking and my favorite part was the spacious indoor area! They had tons of tables inside and outside with great secured wifi for those needing a spot to work. Also have restrooms and water available at no cost. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. I got the iced matcha latte with lavender syrup and it was delicious! Sat for a while and worked and quite enjoyed myself. Will be back next time I'm up north! Thanks y'all!

The staff here were so friendly and sweet! I came in with my daughter for a coffee fix and of course she wanted a smoothie. I got the lamba coffee-- I saw it was a must try, a Turkish coffee. I wish I was from around here because I would get this often. It was so delicious-- sweet and hit the caffeine spot. My daughter got a strawberry smoothie with coconut milk, you either had that as an option or lemonade. She chugged that 16oz down. Bathrooms were clean too- of course the toddler had to use. Highly recommend this spot if you're in the area!

Do they make the syrups in house?

    Is indoor seating available?

    Yes

Does anyone else think their drip coffee is a bit sour? I love working from this place in the morning when I'm nearby but I've always felt their drip tastes a bit too sour. I think they're espresso is on par though.

I was thinking the same thing.

Lots of unique coffee, offerings, but I went with one of the basic offerings. A classic café latte with non fat milk and no foam. The drink itself was made to order which I greatly appreciated. Unfortunately, the brunch menu left much to be desired. The Sunday menu had very limited vegan or vegetarian options (not even a salad?), and substitutions were not allowed. I was told I "couldn't substitute bacon," not even for avocado. I ordered what I thought would be chilaquiles, but it turned out to be a trendy, Americanized version of the dish. Being Hispanic, I know better than to order dishes like this at restaurants because I expect traditional cooking. So know that the eggs in the chilaquiles are served over easy and very runny, they are not scrambled. Also, instead of tortillas, the dish used Dorito-esque chips. Since I can't eat undercooked eggs, I was essentially left with a bowl of chips for $13 (pictured). Overall, the menu felt like it was trying a little too hard to be trendy or "cool" rather than letting the locally sourced ingredients (which is really cool feature they offer!) speak for themselves. I liked that they care about sourcing ingredients, but the execution felt more focused on creating "quirky", elevated twists versus making dishes that are cohesive or satisfying.
