The staff came back and apologized, saying it was the alcoholic beer and poured from the tap but the order placed was indeed the alcohol-free beer. My friend then requested to have the can for the alcohol-free beer instead of poured in a glass to be safe, because she was pregnant. The staff then realized the gravity of the issue and went to get the can, saying we can keep the other glass. A few minutes later, someone who I presume to be a manager came over to say she had clarified the situation again and that it was actually NOT the alcoholic beer--which at this point we weren't inclined to trust. The manager did not apologize, but instead said that a bit of alcohol is okay when you're pregnant... We didn't say anything or raise a fuss, just smiled awkwardly. We left not too long after, and we were charged for the mistaken beer as well. However it's evident that staff do not know how to handle special circumstances, nor do they seem to have high EQ.
