And this was gooooood. An all beef hotdog absolutely buried in salsa, mashed avocado, mayo and their house hot sauce. The bun was groaning with all the weight, and I was smacking my lips because of it. - Classic churrasco sandwich: Got this with thinly sliced steak. Again, lots of toppings (diced tomatoes, mashed avocado, different sauces) though this time it drowned out the star of the sandwich. The beef was tasty and tender, so would have liked more of it. - Corn chips: Homemade tortilla chips where you can taste the homemade difference. It's been a while since stepping back into Completos but tonight was the night as I didn't feel like cooking for dinner. From the menu we decided on the steak box and the housemade chorizo tacos. I forgot to ask if we could of had one of each instead. I'm certain that they would have accommodated that request for someone that likes to graze all the options. Also picked up a side of the crispy corn chips with the mashed avocado, salsa, hot sauce, and crema. The steak box was pretty good and the meat was well cooked with the runny eggs providing some sauce that oozes over the fries. The hot sauce is bomb and provides quite the kick whle the house-made salsa adds that much needed citrus zing. The hard-shelled tacos were very satisfying and the chorizo filling was just the right amount of kick. There is seating outside on their patio space but during the winter months it is strictly a pop up, pick up, and peace out to your home to enjoy type of establishment. My son and I were in the leslieville neighborhood this August long weekend 2022. Passed by Completo and checked their menu. Having lived in Mexico I love anything and everything Mexican. Asked one of the staff what he recommends and he said that the tacos are popular. Ordered the tacos and they are not your traditional Mexican tacos but they are still very yummy. Omg amazing. I'm not usually in Leslieville, but when I dropped my dog off to get groomed down the street, I knew I had to check out one of my bookmarks. My partner and I were meeting a friend of ours who is a vegan, and Completo was able to satisfy all of our cravings. My friend told me that they use a completely separate grill for the vegetarian/vegan food vs. the meat, so veggies can be assured there's no crossover. I had the Classic Churrassco with steak, cheese and egg. They ask you how spicy you like it, and I don't like any spice, so they didn't add the house hot sauce. It was messy, flavourful and filling...what more could you ask for? The spot is small inside - just room to order - but there's a lot of outdoor seating. So delicious. I never imagined eating a traditional grilled cheese sandwhich any other way. However, Completo blew my mind with their Loaded Grilled Cheese Sandwhich. Filled with refried bean, avocado, tomatoes and cheese I felt healthy eating it :-). I also ordered thin hand cut fries. They remind me of McDonald's fries but so much better of course! The sandwhich shop is quaint with window seats. Completo only accepts cash but an ATM is onsite should you not have any with you. I've never been bothered by noise in restaurants but the music inside Completo was a little too loud to be able to stay long enough to eat my sandwhich. I've been here a dozen times, and they are by far one of my favourite fast taco places to go to. Food is consistent and packed with flavour, staff is nice and quick as well . I usually order the tacos they come in a trio- Everything is made to order so you don't have to worry about stale taco shells, or pre-made soggy ones. Heading out East in the Leslieville area (an area I'm slowly starting to discover has some of the best and most unique eats in the city), I found my way to Completo under a good friend's recommendation that this was the place with one of the South American inspired sandwiches (and, in fact, one of the best sandwiches in the city). Eager and excited, I ventured out to Leslieville and got their signature classic churrassco sandwich at a little over $9 with tax (with grilled steak and my protein and diced tomato, mashed avocado and a healthy dose of mayo and hot sauce). Oh my, this was one delicious sandwich. The bun was fresh, the portion size on the grilled steak was generous and the sandwich was oozing with avocado, mayo and hot sauce (and, in fact, had quite a kick). Before I knew it, I was done and strongly debated getting another or picking up their completo poutine. These might be the best tacos I've had--certainly they're the best ones in my neighbourhood. We tried the pork and the chorizo and both were excellent: homemade hard shells with lots of tender meat and delicious trimmings. (Wait, avocado is included?) We found ourselves eating slowly to savour the complex tastes. The serving size was just right, and you can specify the heat level. Friendly staff. There's street parking along residential area, but you can tell that lots of locals and visitors stop by for a quick bite. The place is tight but service is quick and efficient. Everything is made fresh on the spot - you can see bowls of tomatoes, onions and limes scattered over different crooks and crannies. Ordered tacos (comes in 3 - chose chorizo hot) and a house chips. It was the best mexican food I've had in a while, fresher and tastier than any I've been to uptown. The house corn chips are freshly fried. Comes with a cup of guac, cilantro yogurt dip, salsa and hot sauce. The hot sauce (maybe tomatillos?) was spicy but very flavourful - can't get enough of it! The tacos also had crispy freshly fried shells, and the chorizo sausauge is fresh ground beef pressed into little strips. Along with the refried beans, sour cream and all the fixings, every bite was bursting with flavour and super delicious. Suggestion: have the fixings / dipping sauces in a paper dixie cup that can spread out for easier dunking of the chips. Will definitely come back when I come by the beaches. read more

Was in Leslieville doing some record shopping and was hungry, so I "yelped" some nearby restaurants -- and to my amazement, there were many Mexican restaurants around! After reading a few reviews, I decided to head over to Completo. They have outside seating (which is awesome for the summer), but very limited indoor seating. While Completo is a smaller establishment and offers a very limited menu, I think they are doing a fantastic job! I, very rarely, eat Mexican food unless I am in Mexico, but Completo does a decent job! Their ingredients are fresh and the open kitchen allows customers to watch the chef at work! Overall, I would definitely stop by this place if I was in the area -- but I would take it to-go and head outdoors to enjoy the food! Got the steak box which consisted of fries topped with steak and 2 sunny side up eggs.Steak seemed like it had no seasoning at all and I honestly could have done without that but the eggs,fries and hot sauce brought the dish back to life.
