Lolllllll our friend is a loyal customer here!!! He's been coming here everyday for 3 weeks straight, I kid you not!! I personally like their beef as well as shrimp tacos. There's often bit of a wait while they prepare the food, maybe that's just us being impatient to eat.

I was in the mood for tacos and tried this spot. Good flavour and a nice kick of spice, but the fish was unfortunately burnt, which gave it a bitter taste. It was also too salty. The chicken one was pretty good though!

Narcos Tacos is one of my go-to taco spots in Scarborough for a quick and tasty bite, and this visit didn't disappoint. The start of the show for me is still their birria tacos, where you can get 3 massive ones for $15.99, however I plan to try their quesadilla next time as my friend's was delicious. Quality, portions, and taste are all amazing. The inside is spacious and a bright and nice vibe with lots of tables/seating, staff are friendly and helpful

Be prepared to wait a while for your food because every single order is made fresh! I am blown away by how tasty the food is! We had the chicken tacos, Birria tacos, and milk cake for dessert and we couldn't finish 6 between the two of us. We added cheese and side of guac (which was more like sauce / Chutney) - absolutely delicious! Wish that guac was 10 times the size and I would bathe in it!! lol The milk cake was more like custard - absolutely yummy. The fact that they are halal is frankly cherry on top because it just provides more options for people.

Narcos tacos is not even Mexican, Why? Because I asked for a Quesadilla with tacos but I wanted a plain quesadilla *only cheese!* But they put too much condiments same with the tacos at least the drink is good! The Service is fine but it's just the food that Needs improvement. Ambiance 2.5 Food: Too salty couldn't even eat it!

I love tacos, this spot is so important. I love the service it's typically fast but when busy you're gonna have to wait. The Birria tacos come with three for $18.07. It's really filling. I love how crunchy they were. You get lots of cheese, like loads of cheese, if you're a cheese lover this is you. Next time I will request light unions. Overall REALLY good!

Came here for lunch on a Saturday. It was pretty busy - they had lots of orders and the wait was a bit long. However, the carne asada tacos were delicious !! They had a good amount of filling - cilantro, chipotle sauce, salsa on the side, and we also added cheese for an extra $1. I could also taste the corn tortilla very well. I rate this around an 8/10 and my boyfriend who's favourite food is tacos rated it a 9/10. We would definitely come back!

"Supreme fries" you could make this at home.

Thank you for being halal but you basically get scraps for $15. It should cost $7 for the portion youre getting. The flavour is basic. The supreme fries were also very basic. You pay $8 for fries and its 3 times the amt of food you get for the $15 Barbacoa tacos. For the birria, you get a small portion of the consomme like in a small dipping container. When you walk in you smell the toilet in the basement. This place has a lot of potential but they need to work on their pricing and portions.

After a day of riding the DVP Bike for Brain Health, the friends and I were starving so we hit up Narcos Tacos which they had seen on TikTok. I'm glad we did as we're always looking for new taco places to try in Scarborough. It's a small fast food type storefront with a couple of small tables inside and quite a few tables outside for patio eats. Simple and nothing fancy but definitely gets the job done. There were about 3 staff working to cook and take orders. It was very casual though I would've hoped for a bit more friendliness from one of the staff members. However, they took our order promptly and even gave a suggestion on the side order of fries we were deciding on. After placing our order, we had our food in about 10-15 minutes later. We ordered the Birria tacos each and shared a fries supreme. First impressions, everything was so hot and fresh off the grill. I burned my fingers! The consume was great and the tacos were packed to the brim. The meat was also soft and tasty. They also provided a bit of hot sauce which was pretty good as well. The fries supreme were bomb. It had that cheesy sauce and all that goodness smothered just enough to cover most of the fries. The portions were huge especially for the cost. A little messy to eat but worth the price I feel. You could easily get one order of tacos and a side to share with 1 or 2 people. I'll be back.

This is the 2nd time my boyfriend and I have been here and the food is outstanding. The prices are low and the quality of the food is amazing. I ordered the elloite corn and they give you a big corn on the cob. It's loaded with so much flavour. I also ordered the carne asada supreme fries and the portion is huge!! It's very tasty and they're very generous with the amount of steak inside. The restaurant is fast food style. It's very welcoming and clean. There's lots of places to sit and eat. It's kids friendly too. The staff is very kind and makes sure your order is correct. The service is also very fast. I totally recommend coming here if you need a break from your other taco restaurants!!

The food is delicious. The restaurant feels clean, but the dine in area has a lot of flies... so it's a bit uncomfortable to eat and swat constantly.

Great tasting tacos. Fresh ingredients, good portions, decent prices, and simple menu. Fast friendly service. Take-out style setup. Will definitely come back when I'm in the area!

Staff was friendly and waiting time for take out was no more than 10 minutes. - Jerk chicken (4.5/5): Great flavour and spice, coleslaw was good but the ratio was more rice than meat. The jerk chicken was incredible! Nice crisp to the skin and was moist in the middle, touched with sauce to perfection. - Oxtail (4.5/5): I would've love to have more of the meat and coleslaw but I must say the flavour was insane. The meat fell right off the bone!

They offer a $5.99 Small option for those looking for a smaller meal (yet not really small) that's priced right. There was no Roti option. Chicken was cooked very well, rub & marinade were OK but just moderate wow factor. I didn't get as much sauce as some of the other Yelper's pics but It wasn't dry by any means. Most of the chicken pieces were on the bone, which adds flavour IMO - but it also means 25% of that meat portion was bones, so what initially looks like a steal for $5.99 turned out to be merely fair. Not offered to customize heat level ( it was lower side of medium) I liked how the Coleslaw was neither too sweet nor too heavy on mayo. Rice & Peas was standard & unremarkable but did taste extremely fresh despite being an hour to closing time. I'd like to round them up to a 4 but that would be saying it's as good as Allwyn's & Layla's and I couldn't go that far. ( in Willowdale, they'd a 4 easily..) I still consider Rose's a solid choice. And for some customers - those who need better TTC access than Allwyn's, those who need their Island fix to be halal, or find the $5.99 deal to be an ideal price & size, it could well be a top choice in the area.

It was a cold wintry day when I visited Kroran, a small and cosy Uyghur restaurant in Scarborough…read more We were promptly greeted and seated by the lone server, who was friendly and helpful. Aside from teaching us how to pronounce Uyghur correctly (kind of like Vee-Grr), he recommended 3 dishes, the Legmen, Quruq Qorima, and Somen. We started with a Uygur salad, followed by some Manta (dumplings) and then the Somen. I'm happy to report that all of it was excellent! The very fresh salad is composed of tomatoes, cucumbers, garlic and onions. There was not a leaf of lettuce in site, which pleased me (I'm not a lettuce fan), and the cucumbers very fresh and tasty, with pleasantly powerful chunks of garlic complementing the salad well. At first, I thought that the Manta were a bit overpriced at $21, but when they arrived, I saw that they were enormous, and we had 6 of them! To my delight, the generous lamb dumplings were filled with lamb soup! Be warned! It will come bursting out all over your plate if you are careless, and you'll lose all the goodness of the soup! (I usually bite a hole in the side and try to sip it out). These were so excellent! The best soup dumplings I've ever had! Kroran had already set high expectations when the Somen arrived, and we were not disappointed. Somen is a sauced beef and noodle dish, with hand pulled noodles, savory pieces of beef, and various vegetables, including wood-ear mushrooms. It was a fine example of comfort food, and the noodles had a satisfying bite. Despite the whole chillies, it was quite a mild dish, but hot sauce was at the table so that you can spice it up if you prefer a more heat. It was very comforting and warming on a chilly winter's day, but I'd enjoy it year-round! Kroran is a bit pricy compared to similar restaurants, but the quality of the food and generous servings make up for that. Happily, they take all common methods of payment. Parking can be a bit tight, but there is some street parking available on the sidestreets. Uygur food is relatively uncommon in the GTA, but worth seeking out, especially for lamb and beef enthusiasts. I look forward to return to Kroran soon and try some other dishes, particularly the Lamb Kawap (kebabs), Samsa and Legmen.

We visited this place for a quick family lunch and it turned into one of those "I need to come…read moreback" moments. I was a bit unsure at first since Uyghur cuisine isn't something you see every day around here, but everything was incredibly well balanced and approachable. The aroma, texture, and quality of the noodles were just outstanding. We shared the Lamb Kawap (lamb skewer with Uyghur seasoning), Kidney Kawap, and Uyghur Chicken. The skewers were absolutely mesmerizing. None of that strong lamb smell you'd find at many other places, just a clean, fragrant flavor with a softer finish. Perfectly grilled too. It was my first time trying kidney skewers, and the texture really surprised me--chewy, meaty, but not heavy at all, and with no trace of that distinct lamb scent. The Uyghur Chicken was another highlight. Well-seasoned, rich in flavor but not overly spicy, and the chicken was tender through and through. Having it with their hand-pulled noodles made the whole experience even better. The sauce was so good I kept dipping the bread into it nonstop. Honestly, this place hits all the right notes. Great flavors, comforting atmosphere, and real craftsmanship in every dish. Definitely coming back soon.

My friend recommended chicken paratha rolls, so we decided to order four of them (two with green chutney and the other two with red chutney) and a chai. While waiting, we shared the chai. It was hot and fresh, with a blend of spices to warm us up. After a few minutes, the cashier called our order number and my friend went to the front counter to pick it up. The chicken paratha rolls were delicious- the chicken pieces were juicy and succulent, the chutney added a nice small spicy kick, and the paratha was soft, crispy and chewy.
