    Steak Box

I ordered the steak box and it was delicious. Extra points for the sunny side egg on top!

It's been a while since stepping back into Completos but tonight was the night as I didn't feel like cooking for dinner. From the menu we decided on the steak box and the housemade chorizo tacos. I forgot to ask if we could of had one of each instead. I'm certain that they would have accommodated that request for someone that likes to graze all the options. Also picked up a side of the crispy corn chips with the mashed avocado, salsa, hot sauce, and crema. The steak box was pretty good and the meat was well cooked with the runny eggs providing some sauce that oozes over the fries. The hot sauce is bomb and provides quite the kick whle the house-made salsa adds that much needed citrus zing. The hard-shelled tacos were very satisfying and the chorizo filling was just the right amount of kick. There is seating outside on their patio space but during the winter months it is strictly a pop up, pick up, and peace out to your home to enjoy type of establishment. Overall, a good experience here and a mainstay in the neighbourhood.

My son and I were in the leslieville neighborhood this August long weekend 2022. Passed by Completo and checked their menu. Having lived in Mexico I love anything and everything Mexican. Asked one of the staff what he recommends and he said that the tacos are popular. Ordered the tacos and they are not your traditional Mexican tacos but they are still very yummy. Great flavours, great price and great portions. Not to mention great staff. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the leslieville neighborhood. Stop by for a quick bite. You won't regret it.

Completo has the best tacos in the east end. I love the steak ones. Everything is so fresh and made to order. It's quite reasonable the prices as well. I would pay more for the trio, wish you could mix the proteins with it though. If you order steak you get three steak. Staff are pleasant and work fast considering it's very busy at peak hours. If you love spicy. It's spicy .

Good grilled cheese. Will see if it'd be possible without the peppers next time. Been meaning to try Completo for a while, glad to drop by today!

I never imagined eating a traditional grilled cheese sandwhich any other way. However, Completo blew my mind with their Loaded Grilled Cheese Sandwhich. Filled with refried bean, avocado, tomatoes and cheese I felt healthy eating it :-). I also ordered thin hand cut fries. They remind me of McDonald's fries but so much better of course! The sandwhich shop is quaint with window seats. Completo only accepts cash but an ATM is onsite should you not have any with you. I've never been bothered by noise in restaurants but the music inside Completo was a little too loud to be able to stay long enough to eat my sandwhich. However, exploring the neighborhood of Leslieville while enjoying my sandwhich made up for this small inconvenience.

So glad we found this hidden gem this afternoon! We wanted something cheep and cheerful and this spot definitely delivered. I ordered the steak tacos and they were a flavour explosion with crunchy shell, fresh salsa and hot sauce. Just make sure you bring cash!

The place is small I got the box which includes hand cut fries with steak with two sunny side eggs tomato cilantro salsa and their homemade hot sauce . First off it is quite a bargain make sure you bring cash they only take cash they have atM machine but you know that's a money grabber. The fries were crispy eggs was cooked nice steak was good. But when you mix it with the hot sauce that takes the cake you got some heat but not overpowering and the sensations sticks to your tongue for a while. Very creative but not a wow factor for me that's why I only have 3

Patio with several small square tables and 2 picnic tables.

I am always on the lookout for hole in the wall places where I can score some delicious food. Fantastic, flavorful food at reasonable prices is hard to find nowadays; but if you're in Leslieville, you need to count your blessings because Completo has got you covered. Their prices are cheap especially when you realize the tax is already included. OUR ORDER: - Steak tacos - Comes in a box of three, stuffed with refried beans, mashed avocado, tomato-cilantro salsa, cheddar cheese, cilantro-lime crema, and house hot sauce. Crunchy shells with savoury filling DELISH! - Loaded grilled cheese which comes with mayo, diced tomatoes, mashed avocado, house hot sauce and roasted red pepper sauce. I added Chorizo (you can add protein to their grilled cheese, sandwiches or salad for $4 extra). Shout out to Jessica N for thinking of this. MAN! This was one tasty sammich: ooey, gooey cheese and spicy chorizo are a match made in heaven :-9 -In house made tortilla chips served with tasty mashed avocado, tomato-cilantro salsa, cilantro-lime crema and their house hot sauce. My only complaint was some of the chips had middles that were not crunchy. During the cold months only two skinny bar tables with tiny butt stools to eat your food, suggest NOT coming during peak hours unless you want to wait out in the cold for your order. During the warm months there are a number of small square tables and two picnic tables outside under a tree to enjoy your food. Free neighborhood parking, check signs for time restrictions.

I'm always down for trying new taco spots, one of my absolute favourite foods. It was a cold cold day & I was instantly warmed up once I walked into Completo, this place is tiny, and I mean really tiny. There's probably about 6 or 8 barstools and the kitchen is right there. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and tacos. It was okay, the taste was not bad but it could def have used more flavour! Keep Eating, Angela Tip: They only take cash!

We discovered it a couple of weeks ago and already have been back twice to get almost everything on their menu (which rotates). - Maranao Beef Rendang: This rendang comes from a region in the Philippines and is more herb-y than spicy compared to Indonesian/Malaysian rendang. The beef is amazingly tender. Huge portion size for the price. - Adobo sa Gata: Every Filipino family has their own recipe and Lami's is one which you'll want to try. The chicken is a bit on the dry side but has a strong coconut and vinegar taste and goes well with the generous heaping of the sauce. The serving size is ridiculously good for the price. - Chicken Adobo Empanada: Chicken has hints of adobo taste which I liked. But the real star is the empanada pastry, which is super buttery and properly flaky. - Biko: A tad too sweet for me, but well executed. Sticky rice is always tricky, and at the size of this biko, this is well executed. - Buko Pie: Amazing!!! This is easily one of the best buko pies I've tasted here in Canada. They use coconut from the Philippines (none of that mushy processed coconut gel) so tastes much better. And again, that absolutely divine pastry. Lami serves up a proper Filipino meal: home cooked comfort uniquely spun, with portion sizes fit for the whole family.

This pragmatic responsiveness to varying social needs demonstrates genuine understanding of the hospitality spectrum. Their cocktail program demonstrates fundamental competency: preparations that prioritize balance and classical technique over unnecessary elaboration. The spirit-forward compositions achieve respectable equilibrium, suggesting kitchen staff with grounding in mixological fundamentals. The kitchen's approach to food preparation emphasizes comfort and straightforward execution rather than technical virtuosity. Whilst this represents philosophical honesty, one occasionally detects opportunities for greater precision in temperature control and plating presentation. This place was a few blocks away and maybe because it was 9pm on a rainy Sunday, we had no problem getting a seat right away. I ordered their SPICY MARGARITA. It was spicy and so good! For dinner I picked the prawn rice bowl. That, too, was spicy but it was really tasty. It contained 6 prawns covered in some sauce that contained a lot of flavor. I would have licked the bowl. We were hungry so the 23 min wait for our food felt long. But ultimately it was worth it. The two ladies helping us were very nice and even with one mis-communication, served us well. .

It's also been a reliable spot to be able to book tables for large groups. However, they have poor problem resolution if there are any issues that arise. Their food is all pretty good and drinks are fairly priced. Their staff are what I would call elusive and very no frills--beyond your first order, they're a bit hard to flag down to order additional items, settle bills, or otherwise. We had an incident where my friend ordered an alcohol-free beer, but when received, they had a sip and suspected it had alcohol in it because it tasted like the regular alcoholic version. We asked the staff to confirm if the drink they poured was actually alcoholic beer on tap, or if it was an emptied can of the alcohol-free beer. The staff came back and apologized, saying it was the alcoholic beer and poured from the tap but the order placed was indeed the alcohol-free beer. My friend then requested to have the can for the alcohol-free beer instead of poured in a glass to be safe, because she was pregnant. The staff then realized the gravity of the issue and went to get the can, saying we can keep the other glass. A few minutes later, someone who I presume to be a manager came over to say she had clarified the situation again and that it was actually NOT the alcoholic beer--which at this point we weren't inclined to trust. The manager did not apologize, but instead said that a bit of alcohol is okay when you're pregnant... We didn't say anything or raise a fuss, just smiled awkwardly. We left not too long after, and we were charged for the mistaken beer as well. This experience put a bit of damper on going to this place, as it was a frequent spot we visited for decent happy hour specials. However it's evident that staff do not know how to handle special circumstances, nor do they seem to have high EQ. If you are a person with no dietary needs, no wheelchair or crutches (because it's cramped as hell and the washrooms are located on the 2nd floor), not pregnant, and no allergies, then this place is probably fine. But if you have any of the above, then you should skip it in case of incident.

The restaurant is in Kensington Market, just a short walk from the TTC. Lasagna This is pretty much what I expect from a good lasagna. The top had a nice golden crust while the pasta layers underneath still had great texture. The meat sauce was packed with well-browned ground beef, giving it a rich, hearty flavor, and the melted mozzarella tied everything together beautifully. The tomato sauce was a little more acidic than my personal preference, but overall it's a well-executed lasagna with solid fundamentals. Tiramisu You can usually trust an Italian restaurant to make a good tiramisu, and this one definitely delivered. The first bite was full of coffee and liqueur aromas. The mascarpone was rich without feeling heavy, and the ladyfingers were fully soaked while still keeping just a little structure. What impressed me most was the balance between the mascarpone and the ladyfingers--they melted together into one smooth, moist bite instead of feeling like separate layers. At $9, it's the kind of dessert I'd happily stop by and pick up even without having a full meal. Even though the weather wasn't great today, this tiramisu definitely brightened my day.
