    Steak Box

I ordered the steak box and it was delicious. Extra points for the sunny side egg on top!

My son and I were in the leslieville neighborhood this August long weekend 2022. Passed by Completo and checked their menu. Having lived in Mexico I love anything and everything Mexican. Asked one of the staff what he recommends and he said that the tacos are popular. Ordered the tacos and they are not your traditional Mexican tacos but they are still very yummy. Great flavours, great price and great portions. Not to mention great staff. I definitely recommend this place if you are in the leslieville neighborhood. Stop by for a quick bite. You won't regret it.

Completo has the best tacos in the east end. I love the steak ones. Everything is so fresh and made to order. It's quite reasonable the prices as well. I would pay more for the trio, wish you could mix the proteins with it though. If you order steak you get three steak. Staff are pleasant and work fast considering it's very busy at peak hours. If you love spicy. It's spicy .

It's been a while since stepping back into Completos but tonight was the night as I didn't feel like cooking for dinner. From the menu we decided on the steak box and the housemade chorizo tacos. I forgot to ask if we could of had one of each instead. I'm certain that they would have accommodated that request for someone that likes to graze all the options. Also picked up a side of the crispy corn chips with the mashed avocado, salsa, hot sauce, and crema. The steak box was pretty good and the meat was well cooked with the runny eggs providing some sauce that oozes over the fries. The hot sauce is bomb and provides quite the kick whle the house-made salsa adds that much needed citrus zing. The hard-shelled tacos were very satisfying and the chorizo filling was just the right amount of kick. There is seating outside on their patio space but during the winter months it is strictly a pop up, pick up, and peace out to your home to enjoy type of establishment. Overall, a good experience here and a mainstay in the neighbourhood.

Good grilled cheese. Will see if it'd be possible without the peppers next time. Been meaning to try Completo for a while, glad to drop by today!

I never imagined eating a traditional grilled cheese sandwhich any other way. However, Completo blew my mind with their Loaded Grilled Cheese Sandwhich. Filled with refried bean, avocado, tomatoes and cheese I felt healthy eating it :-). I also ordered thin hand cut fries. They remind me of McDonald's fries but so much better of course! The sandwhich shop is quaint with window seats. Completo only accepts cash but an ATM is onsite should you not have any with you. I've never been bothered by noise in restaurants but the music inside Completo was a little too loud to be able to stay long enough to eat my sandwhich. However, exploring the neighborhood of Leslieville while enjoying my sandwhich made up for this small inconvenience.

So glad we found this hidden gem this afternoon! We wanted something cheep and cheerful and this spot definitely delivered. I ordered the steak tacos and they were a flavour explosion with crunchy shell, fresh salsa and hot sauce. Just make sure you bring cash!

The place is small I got the box which includes hand cut fries with steak with two sunny side eggs tomato cilantro salsa and their homemade hot sauce . First off it is quite a bargain make sure you bring cash they only take cash they have atM machine but you know that's a money grabber. The fries were crispy eggs was cooked nice steak was good. But when you mix it with the hot sauce that takes the cake you got some heat but not overpowering and the sensations sticks to your tongue for a while. Very creative but not a wow factor for me that's why I only have 3

I am always on the lookout for hole in the wall places where I can score some delicious food. Fantastic, flavorful food at reasonable prices is hard to find nowadays; but if you're in Leslieville, you need to count your blessings because Completo has got you covered. Their prices are cheap especially when you realize the tax is already included. OUR ORDER: - Steak tacos - Comes in a box of three, stuffed with refried beans, mashed avocado, tomato-cilantro salsa, cheddar cheese, cilantro-lime crema, and house hot sauce. Crunchy shells with savoury filling DELISH! - Loaded grilled cheese which comes with mayo, diced tomatoes, mashed avocado, house hot sauce and roasted red pepper sauce. I added Chorizo (you can add protein to their grilled cheese, sandwiches or salad for $4 extra). Shout out to Jessica N for thinking of this. MAN! This was one tasty sammich: ooey, gooey cheese and spicy chorizo are a match made in heaven :-9 -In house made tortilla chips served with tasty mashed avocado, tomato-cilantro salsa, cilantro-lime crema and their house hot sauce. My only complaint was some of the chips had middles that were not crunchy. During the cold months only two skinny bar tables with tiny butt stools to eat your food, suggest NOT coming during peak hours unless you want to wait out in the cold for your order. During the warm months there are a number of small square tables and two picnic tables outside under a tree to enjoy your food. Free neighborhood parking, check signs for time restrictions.

I'm always down for trying new taco spots, one of my absolute favourite foods. It was a cold cold day & I was instantly warmed up once I walked into Completo, this place is tiny, and I mean really tiny. There's probably about 6 or 8 barstools and the kitchen is right there. I ordered a pulled pork sandwich and tacos. It was okay, the taste was not bad but it could def have used more flavour! Keep Eating, Angela Tip: They only take cash!

Heading out East in the Leslieville area (an area I'm slowly starting to discover has some of the best and most unique eats in the city), I found my way to Completo under a good friend's recommendation that this was the place with one of the South American inspired sandwiches (and, in fact, one of the best sandwiches in the city). Eager and excited, I ventured out to Leslieville and got their signature classic churrassco sandwich at a little over $9 with tax (with grilled steak and my protein and diced tomato, mashed avocado and a healthy dose of mayo and hot sauce). Oh my, this was one delicious sandwich. The bun was fresh, the portion size on the grilled steak was generous and the sandwich was oozing with avocado, mayo and hot sauce (and, in fact, had quite a kick). Before I knew it, I was done and strongly debated getting another or picking up their completo poutine. I highly recommend this place to any fan of Latin American-like sandwiches and any sandwich in general.

Pork tenderloin was pretty tasty but tough & dry especially for a tenderloin. Rice was decent, with a slight flavour, but a bit mushy. Plantain was crispy. The restaurant interior was decorated quite nicely but was very warm (in summer) & service was disorganised & some servers didn't speak English well so communication was sometimes difficult. I asked if the pork tenderloin had a sauce; they said no but it came with a tomato & peppers sauce. They also billed me wrongly.

The…read moreseafood dishes are filled with various different kinds of high-quality seafood to the brim (more protein than rice). All the staff are so friendly - from the waitstaff to the chefs / owners and kitchen staff, everyone in the restaurant seems to exhibit the Latin American hospitality and friendliness. The place feels homey, cozy, and festive with the music in the background (from the TV screen on the wall), and big photos depicting different places in Colombia along the wall. Ambience is very laid-back and casual, with amazing food that tastes homemade and authentic. It took a while for the food to cook and come out (about 40 minutes) - mostly because of the Cazuela de Mariscos (seafood soup) that took the longest to cook. It was also during a very busy time on a weekend. They seemed to have a constant flow of incoming catering and take-out orders (a good sign), and the restaurant itself was packed. All / most mains come with coconut rice, salad, and tostones (fried plantains). As for drinks, you can order freshly squeezed juices in either water or milk. We ordered the fresh strawberry & blackberry juice in water, as the one in milk would make it more like a smoothie. Each juice order comes in a jug (whether it be a small or large jug). This came as a surprise to us - really good value for such a large volume of juice ($6 for a whole "small" jug that turned out to be quite big, enough to refill each glass a few times for 2 people). The juice itself tasted fresh, natural, and refreshing. Dishes that we tried: 1) Filete de Tilapia con Camarones (grilled tilapia fish fillet & shrimps with coconut rice, plantain, and salad) - Big pieces of fish and lots of small shrimps, in a very delectable sauce. 2) Arroz Marinero (seafood rice with plantain & salad) - Loved this dish. The rice was a bit soupy which I liked. It was a bit like a soupy paella (including the rice) - very delicious and packed with various kinds of seafood. 3) Cazuela de Mariscos (seafood soup with coconut rice, plantain, and salad) - Very creamy soup, like a chowder. I'm not a big fan of chowders / cream-based soups in general, but others liked it and said this was good. 4) SIDE: Ensalada (House Salad) 5) Arepa de Chocolo con Queso (sweet corn dough with cheese) All of the main dishes were EXCELLENT - loved the mixed seafood (fish fillet, shrimps, octopus, squid, etc.). There was so much seafood in every dish. In most places, you get more carbs / rice compared to the protein. Here, it was the opposite. The coconut rice was a bit dry but it's decent - good to soak up the sauces of the main dishes. The salad is just shredded cabbage and carrot with big sliced tomato. I was a big fan of the salad dressing (some creamy mayo-like dressing), but luckily the dressing was only at the top of the salad (the bottom part of the salad remained fresh and crunchy, which I liked). We ordered the Arepa de Chocolo con Queso for to go. It was different than the Venezuelan arepa that I'm used to. The Colombian arepa seemed to be sweeter and more buttery. It probably would've been better if it was eaten right after it was freshly made, and while it was still warm. There was a lot of cheese in the arepa, giving it a nice salty and savoury contrast to the sweet corn dough. After you're done the meal, you go up to the counter to pay (instead of having the bill brought to your table). Great food overall - I would not hesitate to come back.

Rincón Paisa already had many positive reviews on major platforms. Plus, I had never had Colombian food . On the storefront, a worker happened to see me taking photos outside and kindly welcomed me to take more. My family and I went into the restaurant. There were many signs showing it is an authentic one: 1. The indoor decoration has a strong Latin American vibe -- wooden furniture, flowers, Latin music, etc. 2. Couldn't understand anything on the menu 3. All customers and workers spoke in Spanish We were there to have brunch. I don't recall exactly which dishes we ordered that day; however, we were super full! The portions of their meals are huge. All the things on the plate were tasty. There were many different ingredients on the plate: plantain, eggs, chorizo, fried pork belly, ground beef, avocado, rice, beans, etc. A very good deal. We might have seemed too unfamiliar with the food, because I didn't even know how to eat Empanadas. After I ordered an Empanada and let the servers in the restaurant watch me eat it awkwardly, a server who I guessed might be the owner treated us to two pastries -- one looked like a ball, and the other was flat bread. I looked them up by AI, and they should be Buñuelo and Almojábana, two cheese pastries from Colombia. I hope it's appropriate, but Buñuelo may be the most delicious cheese bread I've ever had -- it's tastier than the main dishes . I think it's a beautiful local business.
