Sought this place out on a recommendation for some solid Colombian food, it did not disappoint. Had the empanadas, pargo frito, churrasco con chimichurri, bandeja paisa, a seafood soup special, and tres leches to wrap it up. Empanadas were great. Nice and crispy outside with a soft and delicious beef+potato filling. The pargo frito, a fried red snapper dish, was excellent. The snapper was perfectly done, and the crispness of the skin was great. Definitely add lime to elevate this dish. Bandeja paisa is almost like a sampler of meats. The sausage was interesting-almost like a curried sausage. The seafood soup was fantastic. Super rich, TONS of seafood (lobster, clams, mussels). I eat a lot of clam chowder and this puts most hearty seafood showered to shame. Churrasco was delicious. That chimichurri...you can't beat it. Combination of citrus/savory/tart on a nice piece of meat. Tied for fav dish with the chowder. Lastly the tree leches. It had a thin caramel center and a fruit drizzle which were nice touches. Would have been more soaked in cream, and covered in whipped cream, but you could say that about most things in life. When Colombian food is what you want, this is the place to be.

Ceviche

Very good food. And nice waiters and waitresses. The bandera paisa is enough for two people.

Seafood soup dish- yes it comes with TWO plates

The Noms: Colombian Special Salchipapa $25.50…read more Cubano Smoked Brisket Sanguich $20.50 It's a tiny shop but just know they aren't serving tiny portions! The food we got was enough to feed us both - twice! And we're talking full to the brim. It is on the pricier side, but they are far from stingy with their portions. It was our first time so we asked the staff what he recommended and homie came through! The Colombian Salchipapa is basically a fully loaded Cuban fries supreme on steroids. There was plantain, pulled pork, cilantro lime chicken, chorizo, cheese, and corn, all topped with hickory sticks. All of that paired with their house-made tartar sauce was heavenly with the best flavors and textures. The Cubano Smoked Brisket Sanguich was also incredible. There's smoked brisket, roasted mojo pork, swiss cheese, pickles, and fried onions, all stuffed in Cuban bread. The brisket and pork were super tender and juicy too. It was such a satisfying chew that we literally ate in silence while nodding in approval the whole time, lol. Hot tip: we had leftover tartar sauce from the salchipapa, so we poured it on our sanguich and it made it even better! Definitely worth getting it on the side if you're getting the sanguich alone.

. After a very long wait, the newly opened TTC Line 5 was finally there. I just wanted to hop on…read morethe Line 5 train and see where it could take us. Rincón Paisa already had many positive reviews on major platforms. Plus, I had never had Colombian food . On the storefront, a worker happened to see me taking photos outside and kindly welcomed me to take more. My family and I went into the restaurant. There were many signs showing it is an authentic one: 1. The indoor decoration has a strong Latin American vibe -- wooden furniture, flowers, Latin music, etc. 2. Couldn't understand anything on the menu 3. All customers and workers spoke in Spanish We were there to have brunch. I don't recall exactly which dishes we ordered that day; however, we were super full! The portions of their meals are huge. All the things on the plate were tasty. There were many different ingredients on the plate: plantain, eggs, chorizo, fried pork belly, ground beef, avocado, rice, beans, etc. A very good deal. We might have seemed too unfamiliar with the food, because I didn't even know how to eat Empanadas. After I ordered an Empanada and let the servers in the restaurant watch me eat it awkwardly, a server who I guessed might be the owner treated us to two pastries -- one looked like a ball, and the other was flat bread. I looked them up by AI, and they should be Buñuelo and Almojábana, two cheese pastries from Colombia. I hope it's appropriate, but Buñuelo may be the most delicious cheese bread I've ever had -- it's tastier than the main dishes . I think it's a beautiful local business. If you're curious and haven't had Colombian food before, definitely give it a shot .

I ended up grabbing some empanadas and holy shit these are tasty. They were so fresh and crispy, I got one chicken and potato empanada and one cheese. The chicken one was wrapped in a corn dough and the cheese one was flour I think but both were really, really good-- and cheap! $2.50 per any flavor. They have tamales here too, I'd like to come back to try them. The interior is also very clean and the decor is so cute. Guy with the tattoos and stretched ears at the front was also really nice. I wish I had more time to try a dish!! I saw other peoples' food and it looked so tasty. Great portions and beautiful dinnerware as well. Will definitely be back and highly recommend for a quick bite :)
