Easy to find, ample parking, pretty good selection of fish and shellfish…read more The sales room was clean, and this reminded me of a 70s type store. Service was good, not great I really needed cherry stones and I saw they had them stated online, so I drove a little bit to get here and they did not have them Other shellfish was quite pricey, but the quality looked good I ended up buying 10 little neck clams at $.79 each, and 3 pounds of mussels. I spent just under 20 bucks. I thought it was a lot of money for what I got. I think this will be a one and done for me

We went to Valley Fish for two specific reasons:…read more 1) We want to work more fish into our diet, so we wanted to use our air fryer to make some fish fillets which we needed to buy. 2) We saw that Valley Fish's website listed some outrageous good looking "Valley Fish To Go" items like "Grilled Faroe Island Salmon with a Maple Bourbon Glaze" for $11. We asked the counter folks what fish would best for fish and chips, and both suggested Cod. We ordered a gorgeous slab of Cod that weighed about a pound and a quarter and cost us a little over $20, so I'm guessing it cost around $16 per pound. We cut it into eight pieces, dressed it in panko and eggs, then popped it into the air fryer. Let me tell you, the fish came out GREAT. Now $16 a pound is pricey, and we all know you can do better out there in the marketplace, but I have to say the quality was great- super meaty without one milligram of waste. Now as for the "Valley Fish To Go", we expected to see a showcase or refrigerated case or a freezer case filled with these entrees to go. But there were none, and when we asked about the "Grilled Faroe Island Salmon with a Maple Bourbon Glaze" we hoped to pick up, we were told that it isn't stocked and in fact you have to order that in advance. If that's the case -fine, I understand, but there is no reference to that process anywhere on the website. I think that should have been clarified on their web page. So Instead of spending the $40 we were totally prepared to spend here, we just spent $20.

When we walked in, there wasn't anyone at the front, just a counter and a small table with T-shirts for sale. The kitchen is in the back, and the dining area is off to the left. A friendly waitress came out right away and told us to sit wherever we'd like. The dining room is small, but cozy; about 10 tables. There's also bar-style seating at sushi counter with about 5 chairs. Two sushi chefs were working and chatting with customers. Everyone was super nice, and the vibe was great; hip-hop, R&B, and reggaeton playing in the background. Right up my alley lol. Our waitress was very sweet, attentive, and gave us great recommendations. I ordered the Caribbean roll, and it was phenomenal! Definitely one of the best sushi rolls I've ever had. It had a sweet plantain on top and was packed with flavor. I also got a vegetable roll, which was just okay. The place had a chill mix of customers: a family, & some older couples. Overall, great service, good music, and amazing specialty rolls. It's also BYOB (wine and beer only) which is nice. I'll definitely be back to try the ramen next time!

The three…read moreof us--myself, my wife, and my mother-in-law--were seated promptly, which was a nice start. Our waitress was attentive and friendly, making sure we felt welcome throughout our meal. We kicked things off with calamari and bruschetta as appetizers. The calamari was fresh, but it could have used a bit more seasoning to elevate its flavor. As for the bruschetta, it had an unusual sour note that was quite unexpected and not at all what we've experienced before. My mother-in-law opted for the clam chowder, but unfortunately, she found it lacking and described it as terrible. On a brighter note, my wife ordered the chicken Alfredo and absolutely loved it. I chose the spaghetti and meatballs, and I was pleasantly surprised by the rich flavor of the meatballs, which redeemed the meal somewhat. Overall, I have to deduct two stars due to the disappointing appetizers and the clam chowder. While we appreciated the service, I don't think we'll be returning anytime soon.

The menu had so many great options - we decided to get a pizza, a pasta, and an entree to share between the four of us. For pizza, we ordered Donna's Favorite, and added crispy chicken. We all loved it and I especially loved the crispy prosciutto. Our entree was chicken piccata, and the capers and lemon in the sauce were excellent. We ordered the penne with vodka sauce, and again, the prosciutto was amazing! Portions were great and the three items we ordered were plenty for the four of us, and we even had leftovers for lunch. Wish we had saved room for dessert - next time!
