Kind of a dive bar. A fun place with great people. If pool is your thing, they have 4 tables and…read moretournaments several nights a week. There's always a good crowd playing. There are several large flat-screen TV's usually tuned to football or baseball, so it's a great place to catch the game. Thursday and Saturday nights also have karaoke, which is my favorite. Adam is the regular karaoke dj - he's great! The bartenders and management are all friendly and know what they're doing. It's a bar filled with regulars and they know almost everyone by name. Being a bar I guess I should cover the drinks - they have all the standard domestics, several on draft, a few Louisiana beers and a few imports. Decent selection of liquors for mixed drinks, very small wine selection. I think most folk could get the drink they're looking for as long as you're not expecting a craft taproom or fancy whiskey bar. It's a straight bar - so no food. But if you're hungry there's a Pizza Hut and Greek and Chinese restaurants all within 100 yards. You can call in your order, have it delivered to the Tiger or just walk over and pick it up to bring back. Just ask your bartender - they have the menus and phone numbers! There's not much to complain about, but to justify not giving that last star, I'd say it's sometimes too crowded, especially Saturdays. Ideally they'd have about twice the square footage and another 15' or more of bar. Things are a little awkward now since EBR banned smoking in bars too - there's not a well-planned option for smokers like a deck with a bar so there's a lot of in and out the front door for smokers. The smoke free barroom is a nice development but also an inconvenience to the many smoking customers. I notice the Yelp profile for here is quite old. Ownership changed after the Great Flood of 2016 and I think the bar was pretty much gutted and rebuilt, so the profile really needs to be updated.

Nice addition to the Baton Rouge BBQ scene (the Baton Rouge BBQ desert). Nice atmosphere (live…read moremusic Friday and Saturday night, and Sunday afternoon), decent service, and decent food. Not the absolute best BBQ ever, but certainly worth trying and it will satisfy a craving. Brisket and ribs are a bit dry but have a good flavor. Both are very tender (ribs fall off the bone). Chicken is very good and moist and the leg quarter is a decent size. Overall, generous portions of everything. "Fried potatoes" on the menu means shoestring french fries. Pretty good, but those words made me think skillet fries. No big deal. Potato salad and coleslaw are both good, but the coleslaw is dry. It has a bit of vinegar dressing that is good, but not quite enough. Three stars - I'll be back, but it's not my favorite BBQ place in town (even among the few choices available).

First off I'm not from Baton Rouge so I need not brownnose anyone. In short, the BBQ food is flavorless and the worst I have ever eaten -, just like the negative reviews allude to. I got the spare ribs and the rub used on the ribs is flavorless and dried out. The meat underneath it is moist but flavorless as well. The sides like potato salad and beans are not worth ordering. Now if you are into a dive-bar scene, come get it; but don't eat here. I will say the staff, however, are very friendly and service is pretty good.

The rum and cocktails made for us were solid. The bartenders were awesome. Great interaction with guest. Bartenders were very knowledgeable of the distillery plus the drinks they were pouring. I appreciated the enthusiasm. The distillery is very nice space. The distillery offers bar seating, lounge chairs and tables. Plus there is an expansive outdoor seating area. As the distillery does not offer food, they often coordinate food trucks to enjoy with your drinks. A crawfish boil was going on the day we were there. At the distillery you can purchase bottles of rum to go. Plus they sell various shirts to me and women. Distillery owns a parking lot adjacent to the building. Parking is free. I wanted a great place with a chill vibe and great drinks and they did not disappoint. The service was amazing and the drinks were perfect. I got their raspberry frozen drink and also tried their flight of rum which comes with over six different types of rum, light and dark. The bartenders were so sweet and they made amazing drinks all night. I also tried their old fashioned and fresh mint mojito ( taken directly from their herb garden)! Everything was done perfectly. They have a nice, large patio outside with plenty of room to sit. They have board games, darts, large Jenga, and more. We were able to spend quality time with family and friends and enjoy the night. We were also allowed to bring our own food from outside which was perfect for the occasion. I cannot wait to come back to such an amazing place located right downtown next to Ballys casino. They also offer tours of their distillery for a great price! Thank you so much for an amazing experience.
