I just got my nails done at Lacquer Nail Salon on Saturday. It's Thursday night my two of my nails are already chipping. I've never had acrylic nails chip before. The nail station I was at was not clean and the lady that did my nails was constantly checking her phone. While I was there another nail tech called Jimmy Johns and started yelling very loudly in front of other customers that her order was very late. For what they charge I was not impressed and suggest the owner to educate the staff on how to act when there are customers. read more

I will start off by saying i love this salon... I've been going there for going on 4yrs now since my senior year of high school. The staff is ever changing and the quality depends on the nail tec. But once you find your girl they do you right every time. Raquel is my girllll. Her nails are always fire and she is constantly improving. That being said the salon staff can be rude and petty. Some of the OGs that been working there before my time think they own the place and can be very katty which I don't like. Some of the nail tecs don't give 2 fucks if they do your shit right they just want their money but there is some true talent in the shop you just have to do your research. Tried this place for the first time off of a suggestion from my coworkers/friends. When I came in the girls were nice and welcomed me in. I made an appointment and they were able to squeeze me in before they closed. I got a fill and a pedicure. The pedicure was different than what I was used to with the buckets they used. The massage chair felt great and the girl did a good job on my toes, except they messed up when I left and the polish didn't stay on. I really liked that they used hot stones to massage my legs for my pedicure and they used a mask on my feet and exfoliating scrub as well to make them smooth. She took her time with cleaning them and making sure I liked the shape. I liked the fill I got done as well. She took her time with shaping them and making sure the design I showed her was going to match on my own nails. She was honest with the shape and length of my nails because I wanted to try coffin nails, and I was really happy with how they turned out! They had the colors that I wanted and she was great with suggestions for my next fill design I wanted. I would recommend this place if you're looking for a nice design that's out of the ordinary and wanting to do something different with your nails! read more

Her ability to make you feel like you're the only one in the room while she maintains a professional, firm hold on her business and what is happening in her salon is a talent in itself. Serena who assists MiMi in the daily operations is highly personable and incredibly helpful as well, enjoyable to talk to. Dahlia is another technician/Artist whom along with the rest of the artists gets a nod from the owner. I went here many years ago and had a bad experience. After seeing pics on IG recently and from recent recommendations I went back. Not happy with my nails at all. I have a thick hump around the cuticles, they are super flat (there is no apex), my side walls were filed into quite hard, shape is wrong, just everything is wrong with this set. I went here because I heard good things about them. However, when I went I had a horrible experience. First, the woman who put on my acrylic nails was in such a rush that she shaped them wrong and made my thumb nails completely shorter compared to the rest of my nails. Also, before so even started I told her what I wanted, which was red underneath. Turns out you need red acrylic to do that. Which she did not tell me. After she rushed out of there another woman finished my nails. Which she did beautifully. Except, she filed my nails AFTER she polished them. VERY VERY VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! The employees are LOUD! Especially one of them that was talking to her mom on the phone about her kids and not feeding them steak! Wtf? This isn't a conversation I'm interested in hearing. The employees sit and eat at their stations. Very unhygienic! Some of them were eating with their mouths wide open. Can you at minimum close your mouth? They're speaking loudly and cursing loudly! One of the techs was face timing someone! I've never been in a nail salon so unprofessional. Very disappointing! I stopped going to LNL but I decided to give them another chance. I went to LNL to get full acrylics color nude. When I arrived for my appointment the technician ask me to come back in 35 minutes. I usually don't mind but it happens every time I have an appointment they always tell me to come back in an hour. She took two hours to do my nails so I thought they would last at least two weeks. My fifty dollar nails started to peel in less then 1 week and one of my nails fell off. I get my nails done every 3 weeks and this has Never happened before. I asked if they could repaint them two days later, but they said they only guarantee 4 to 7 days. They wanted to charge me another $20 to get them fixed. I don't think paying $70 for nails that only last a couple of days is worth it. read more

Super clean, high tech supplies & very professional!

I went in for a gel manicure and got the worst manicure I've ever had. It chipped within 12 hours of getting it. The design came off within 24 hours. Needless to say my nails looked like crap for my vacation which defeats the purpose of getting a gel manicure. The customer service is subpar. A girl I was waiting next to had an appointment and the manicurist showed up an hour after the appointment time. Wish I didn't waste my time and money. read more

Mimi did a horrible job on my full set. My nail shape was totally off and my nails were different sizes. The paint chipped after only a week of having them done. I know Mimi can do an astonishing job when she feels like it because that's what I received in my past visits. I just feel like she doesn't take her job seriously anymore. This was my first and LAST visit to this nail salon. I was extremely disappointed in the service and the professionalism of the workers. I felt that I was rushed during my service even though I had made an appointment. I received a manicure, which started peeling the following day. I realize manicures don't last more than a week, but they shouldn't start peeling the day after having them done. I was also put off by the fact my technician answered her phone WHILE servicing me, and she wasn't the only one. Answering your personal call while servicing a customer is very unprofessional and frowned upon. I will be searching for a more professional salon in the near future. read more
