I am very disappointed with their service and they are very rude. I had my nails done there and they didn't even last a week and when I went back they told me they only last 3 days. I paid around $60 and they said they could fix for $20. Why should I pay more when you messed up. Very unprofessional and I will never go back there and I wont recommend them to anybody. read more

I went to this place. I walked in and wanted to know if I could get a pedicure. After a short wait, I was taken to the chair. This man (who seemed sweet) started my pedicure. He had me pick out a color and I handed it to him. He never said ONE word to me. I'm pretty sure he didn't speak English and the fact he never said anything at all I'm sure he assumed that I wanted Gel. So I go to pay and this crazy woman (owner) tells me it will be $50!! I said I wanted a ped and this says $35. She told me that it's because I got GEL. News to me. I said didn't ask for "gel". So I told her that this could be a "bait and switch". She said ok come over and we will take the gel off. If I wasn't on my way to a prior engagement I would told them .. do it! I told her that I'm actually late and need to go. She kept (loudly) telling me we will take off. I said can I come back later and you take it off? She said no.. do it now. As I was already late I had to go and paid the $50. This "pedicure" was one of the worst ones I have gotten. If you have to get your nails done here..make sure you let them know exactly what you wanted. read more

After 8yrs of being a loyal customer I feel betrayed. I've had some experiences but I still came back just to b let down. I get my hands done every two weeks n feet once a month. have been since! I got them done hands just to comeback the very next few days later cause the set started chipping n shit. I Pauli's 50for my hands n I went to get fixed 4nails just for her to charge me again 15mins dollars cause she claim my over lay was old, but u could've told me that before I paid u that 50. not paying again for some shit u could've told n I would've paid that for new overlay. that's 65 dollars just to replace 4fingers of new overlay. so 50 plus 15. so. got played n I'm never going back. I'm tired of just giving her money after a week or two days. I deserved some Greet treatment n to b let knw if the over lay is bad or not! not just take my money n keep taking knowing ur products or yo ass ain't shit! read more

My experience at Diva Nails was mediocre. I was sent to a station that was never cleaned from the previous customer. The tech seemed to be in hands off training as the owner barked a couple of orders to the technician - "no drill on gel!" She stopped but I have some minimal ridges. The customers (sisters) that were present made for a distasteful visit, not owners fault. I give her props for asking them to speak nicely as there was a child present! At the end of my procedure I have always received lotion and a hand massage. This time I was handed the lotion and told to rub it in! read more

But now today only being 3 days later my nails are already chipped and I see how bubbled they are . I'm so disappointed that they look like this already. The first time I went to this salon I was not impressed. I did a walk in with my best friend who had been asking me too go with her all the time because it was her favorite place. We went in about two hours before close. She was helped immediately which is fair they know her. I was confused, however, after I wasnt helped for a long time when I could have been. They were not very busy and there was still plenty of time to be assisted. Finally someone decided to help me. The young girl doing my gel manicure rushed a lot making the experience uncomfortable and left her work sloppy. The polosh chipped on the third day, the coats were uneven and in some spots you could see the light color of my nail after the polish oxidized the next day. Ive done my own gel manicures and ive had them last five weeks. So I didnt returm for about nine months. I decided to give them one last chance since I wasnt going to be able to do it myself for a few days. This time I went in dueing the day when I assumed they wouldnt be too busy. I walked in and I was helped right away. This time a young man was assisting me for my nail service, just a gel polish, no maicure. He did a beautiful job, the coats werent too thick, they were opaque evenly and I was satisfied. I decided to try there eyebrow service after that. I told the women doing this exactly what I liked, a nice natural shape to what I already have, just cleaned up. She did a perfect job. Overall, i think it depends on what time you go to this salon. If they have time to spend as long as it takes to do an efficient job it will turn out wonderfully. The staff is friendly and funny and the salon is nice with a nice selection of services at a fair price. If you go when you will be rushed (closer to closing), it is not a good experience. read more

I got a full set acrylic nails with a rhinestone on both nails. I wanted all of them done with crystals but i could clearly see she didn't have enough for my hands. My friend got full set acrylics with rainbow and glitter. We love our nails. Your Customer service is excellent and we got in and out in two hours without noticing. First time customer. I made an appt for gel fill and brow wax. Magdalena is a wonder with wax. My brows look great. Didn't catch the name of the woman who did my nails but she was clearly new. The owner had to come over and instruct her and when she was using the power file she filed my skin until I told her what she was doing. Also, after she applied the primer, my nail beds felt a painful chemical burn for the rest of the service. I told the owner as she was standing there near the end. She said "Oh yeah, that happens sometimes. You can wash your hands when you are done". I've had fake nails for over 10 years. Never felt a chemical burn. Clearly they don't plan to change their product so I will not return. read more

Whether I have had an appointment or not I always have to wait 10+ minutes, the last time I went in it took them 3 hours to complete a pink n White set and pedicure- this is unacceptable but I'm starting to run out of options close to my home/work. read more

My mother, grandmother, and I have been going to Diva Nails for 5 plus years now. The owner Selena is an absolute doll. There hasn't been a time that we haven't left there not only 100%satisfied but feeling as though we're a friend not just a customer. Gracie and Cindy give awesome pedicures. Lee does my pink and white gel nails and always does them perfect! And of course the times I get Selena I never can complain! All-in-all I highly recommend Diva Nails! read more

I went to this place with my sister. I was trying to find a nail salon that does nice nails plus nice designs. I am from NY where the nail salons do almost any design you can imagine so it takes a lot to impress me. The people were pleasant and the pedi that me and my sister received was perfect. The down fall was that I wasn't impressed with my French set. When I got home I noticed one nail already had slight chips in the paint. Than, my sister had one thumb nail that was visibly longer than the other. Finally, I did not like the fact that they kept telling us that we were keeping them there after hours. Before arriving we called and asked them what time they closed and if we were still able to come. They said they closed at 6 and we could still come. We got to the nail salon at 5. The whole time they kept saying we were keeping them late and even said that the guy who was doing my sisters nails was tired. That's just not professional and they should not have told us to come if they were going to complain the whole time while doing our nails. Overall, the experience was just so so and I do not think I would go back. However, the Spanish lady who does pedicures is awesome. ( sucks that I can't remember her name). read more

This place is great. They can get you without much wait, most times I just walk in and the owner greets you and gets you started. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the man who did my pedicure is very slow, but does a tremendous job, but I think I was there for over two hours. I also am not comfortable when most of the techs don't speak English, they are all Asian. I was in there last week though and there were no Asians, other than the owner, working. Give it a try, the service is very good and the costs are much better than most salons. read more

Not impressed with the service at all! This is the kind of place you go when you have no other choice. I waited forever, was never greeted or signed in...they had no clue who was next in line. When I finally got to sit down, I had to wait again bc the guy couldn't do my nails apparently. I've been there twice. First with two young girls in tow and they took the three of us right in and we had mani pedis, we all loved our nails. Today I had an appt. which I made 30 minutes before I went, and they did a great job. It's clean and they take their time to do their jobs right. I just wish they spoke more English, but it hasn't been a problem communicating. I have not tried any other salons in the area so can't compare, but when they do it right, then there's no reason to go anywhere else. read more

I went to Diva Nails today to get my eyebrows done. I had never received services there before, but I had heard good things about the establishment. When I walked in, I let them know what I wanted and I was helped right away. When we got back to the waxing station I gave the lady direction on what I did not want. She did not listen and decided to take creative liberty with my eyebrows. When she was finished she showed me my eyebrows. I was very upset. I repeated what i had told her I did not want her to do and showed her the results of her actions. I asked another patron if she could see it, she said it was not that bad. It was also suggested that I should but a pencil and pencil it in, which infuriated me. I don't wear makeup. Why should I have to buy something additional to fix something that could have been done right the first time? I was not offered a discount however, the owner did say next time I came she would do it. She didn't seem to take my concerns and frustration the least bit serious. But there won't be a next time for me. My advice is, If you know what you want, go somewhere else! read more

Went to Diva Nails for my first time. I had a 1:30 pm appointment, and didn't get with a tech until 2:45. I had a manicure and a design on two nails. My nails look great and the design the tech did looks great. The price was very reasonable. My manicure, two nails designed, and replacing a crystal on each of my big toes (pedicure not from here) cost $27.00. I would probably go back if I don't have to wait an hour and 15 minutes. Diva Nails is a small nail salon tucked into the Piggly Wiggly strip mall on Washington Avenue. I first went there on the recommendation of a friend, and I've continued going over the past five years. I usually just walk in and have always gotten immediate service. If I have a friend or one of my daughters with me, I will call ahead for an appointment to ensure there is enough room available for us. I have used a variety of services, but mostly get my regular mani/pedis there. I've found that the prices are very reasonable, and there are a lot of colors to chose from. On the times I've wanted something "different," they've always come up with something to please me. There have been occasions when I've come late in the day, and they have insisted on taking me, even if it was beyond their regular hours. I will say that Selena, the owner, does the best eyebrow waxing, and she will always fit you in for this quick service. There has been a turnover in employees over the years, as would be expected in this kind of business, but some have been there long-term, and they try to accommodate you if you have a favorite technician. Selena has a great sense of humor, and the atmosphere is clean and friendly. read more

I went here December 22nd to get a gel manicure done expecting them to last through New years. By 12/25 I already had 1 nail that had a big chip out of it and 2 others that were already peeling up. After a week I had 4 chipped nails which made it seem as though I could have painted them myself with better results. I went back to the salon and they re-did them for me at no cost, but once again after a week I had a chipped nail and just about all of them are wearing down at the tips. Was happy they offered to re- do them but was a little put off that the same person who had initially did them did them again, so no surprise that I had the same results. Because of this I would not recommend this salon. They need to get either better product or better technique..or both. read more
