I am extremely disappointed by the way I was treated at Michelle Nails by Danny, the owner\…read more About two weeks ago, my family and I were leaving for vacation, and I wanted a chrome color to match my vacation outfits\. Michelle Nails didn't have the chrome color I wanted, so I still went to Danny for my regular fill, but without a design\. After that, I went to another local nail salon that had the exact chrome color I was looking for\. As a customer, I believe I have the right to choose where I receive different services\. At my most recent appointment with Danny, the first thing he asked me was, "Why didn't you go to whoever did your chrome?" I was caught completely off guard\. I respectfully explained that I went elsewhere because he didn't have the color I wanted, and that I should be able to choose where I spend my money\. From that moment on, his attitude toward me changed\. I've been a loyal client for years\. I regularly pay between $150 and $180, plus a tip, for every appointment\. I also bring my own nail designs, many of which I've later seen recreated on other clients\. Despite how uncomfortable I felt during this appointment, I still paid the full $180 and left a tip because, as always, he does beautiful work\. After I paid, he told me that I could no longer come back and that this would be my last service with him\. He said I should go back to the salon that did my chrome\. I left feeling embarrassed, disrespected, and honestly discriminated against because I chose to get one part of my nail service somewhere else when he couldn't provide what I wanted\. No customer should be made to feel punished for spending their own money where they choose\. Has anyone else had a similar experience with Michelle Nails or Danny? I'd love to hear your thoughts\. I believe customers deserve to be treated with respect, regardless of where they choose to receive other services\. Not to mention a year or so ago he banned me for going to another nail salon for my pedicures\.

With the previous owners, those things are all gone. I got a manicure which I do regularly, and the person was very sloppy, and did not clean under my nails, which they didn't need much, and did not cut or file my nails, so many were different lengths than others. What's up with that?! She then slathered some oil on my hands and said OK you're done. All in all, about 6/7 minutes and $25! The person at the front desk looks and acts like she'd rather be anywhere else, but there and is not very nice. The inside has been changed and it looks very cheap and disorganized. I won't be going back.
