One claimed it was made for a location in another city - despite me having the email confirmation listing their location. Used to be good service but in the last year the service has gotten shoddy. IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS it would be -100 stars I was racially discriminated against while trying to come back for a 3rd time for them to fix my service. I expressed I was highly disappointed with it only being 2days since I was last in the shop. Toe nail polish chipping, uneven layers polish, polish on my skin and not even on my nail. I was told to come back to get my issue resolved over the phone she told me that because I was expressing to someone else that I was dissatisfied and she overheard it that after they fixed my nails I would no longer be able to come back. Even though I had no time and it was a complete inconvenience for me to go back I did. Just for me to arrive and her tell me I'm not going to be serviced and also not going to get a refund. Then the owner proceeded to call the police as if I was a threat to them. I had a really great experience for my first time going to this location. I was checked in right away for my pedicure and I was only a minute or two before I was taken to the back. I got basic frenchies and they turned out so cute! My nail tech was very accommodating and made me feel comfortable enough to be able to speak up (iykyk). Overall, it was very peaceful and quiet and pricing wasn't too bad, $52 for cash, gel pedicure and French tip. Would go again. read more

The woman doing my nails was very rude and did a terrible job. The salon was out of several bottles of nail polish that I requested in the end there was not one color that I could have. The woman told me "You should care for your nails at home." The woman did not polish my nails. I subsequently went to another salon in Oak Brook Illinois who couldn't even believe that someone had started a manicure on me. The salon is claiming that they did a full manicure. I went to Utopia with my daughter for pedicures and tips for our birthdays. Decent pedicure without a callus removal and acrylics. When I left the salon at closing my nails looked good. Two hours after leaving my middle nail broke from no cause of my own. I called at 9 am when the salon opened for a repair. The salon refused to get me in for the repair in Sunday and booked a repair for Monday. Monday I showed up for my appointment about 8 minutes late and was told they would not see me. I explained that no one informed me about the policy and it was my first visit to the salon. The girl at the desk gave no solutions to the problem. There was no leader there to speak to. Considering I spent over $200 on services to have nails that were messed up within 2 hours of the service was infuriating! read more

First time going to utopia nails, I asked for this type of nails , and got the complete opposite. worst nail place I have ever went to. Wouldn't recommend going there. The nails are all different shapes, and she made one of my nails shorter then the other and I asked her to fix it and she just made it worse and she didn't even fix the nail length. They acrylic is on my skin and over all there just disgusting. They told me that they don't do ombré nails on Saturday, then why are you a nail solan if you don't do all types of nail designs every day ? They should have said that when I first called. Absolutely terrible, I would give my money to people that actually care about their customers because this company does not care about their customers. I go in and treat my mother for her birthday and I come out with her nails looking bulky, but she didn't wanna complain. I call and I complain never do but I spent a lot of money here getting my nails done, they told me that they could get me I go in for a fill they don't even takeoff all the gel nail polish I had on previously, the length they messed up on all of my nails, instead of doing it the proper way they just filed them down with the hand tool instead of cutting them to the length I wanted, didn't even ask. I had two broken nails instead of taking off the old tip she put on a new tip on top of the old acrylic and then it leaves it bulky and just looking terrible., I ask if they didn't mind changing one of the polish colors or taking out a color and they said I had to have the exact same way, otherwise I can pay $10. They also give me the exact same person as I went to yesterday which I asked for a specific person when making the appointment for my mom's birthday and they told me 1030 but I didn't get the specific nail tech I asked for. It was before after they messed up I'm like OK can I get a refund or a partial refund they told me no. If you want good customer service, I go anywhere else but here this is complete trash. I remember when they first opened up they were amazing but they have gone to trash and I will be trying elsewhere. It was a lovely place, but poor service and poor quality. I got acrylic nails and not only did they tell me they couldn't do the simple design I wanted, but they also put the nails on with extreme poor precision. They barely lasted a week before lifting and starting to come off. They felt like press on nails from Sally's, not worth the price. read more

Worst pedicure ever and will not be back. First time ever that my feet hurt after having a pedicure, couldn't wear my shoes without pain.
