I would like to formally report one of the most unpleasant experiences I have ever had at a LabCorp facility. Today I went for my annual lab work, as I do every year, and decided to visit the location across from my home on Old St. Augustine Road. I arrived at 6:50 a.m. When I walked in, I greeted the employee at the counter with a "Good morning." Her response, however, was: "In 10 minutes you need to sit in the waiting room," said with a noticeably arrogant tone. She didn't even have the courtesy to respond politely. Immediately after, she got up from her chair and went to talk to the receptionist. Another patient arrived shortly after and also greeted her. That patient received the exact same rude response in the same tone. The tension in the room was very noticeable. At 7:02 a.m., she turned on the television and called me to the counter. She told me she could not find my lab order. I responded that this was unusual because my doctor had confirmed the order was sent electronically a week ago. The phlebotomist, who was sitting right in front of the computer, looked at me with sarcasm and said, in a mocking tone: "You're looking at me like I'm lying to you." I explained that wasn't the case and attempted to find my order in my email. She then told me I needed to make an appointment through the app or the kiosk, again using an arrogant and condescending tone. I honestly don't understand why she had such an attitude so early in the morning. I left feeling completely dismissed, disrespected, and belittled. The treatment I received was extremely unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable. At that moment, a receptionist with short black hair and a tattoo on her ear arrived. She looked at the phlebotomist, but still no one made any effort to resolve the issue. In many cases my orders appear under both of my last names; they didn't even attempt a proper search. Unfortunately, this is not the first incident I've experienced at this same location. In the past, this same employee told me they "don't take walk-ins" and made me leave to another location on Phillips Highway. At this point, I have even wondered if her behavior may be discriminatory, as her attitude toward me has been consistently negative on more than one occasion. Someone with such an unprofessional demeanor should not be working directly with patients, especially in a setting that requires trust and care. I would not have felt safe receiving sample collection from her based on her behavior today. I will not be returning to this location, and I do not recommend it. I hope this feedback reaches the appropriate leadership so they can address the lack of professionalism demonstrated by staff at this facility. read more

Who knew a lab experience could be so Thrilling!!! I got there at 7:30am ON THE DOT. Was greeted by a lovely lady, Rebecca. Beautiful and kind with lovely curly hair! Anyways! She took me back immediately and got my testing done in less than 8 minutes!!! She saved me so much time! Rebecca you were the highlight of my DAY!! The location at 10503 San Jose blvd is awful. Apparently their systems are down this morning. Which I understand, because it happens, but the lady who came to tell us was extremely rude and could care less that I have a specimen to drop off. She had ZERO empathy and offered no alternative. People who do not care for people should not work in the healthcare industry. read more

I've had to visit this Labcorp a couple of times to give them a cup of clean urine for pre-employment drug screens. I give this location 4 stars because each time I've been they have been friendly and fast. I am able to go in, sign into the kiosk, show my ID to the front desk, make my deposit, and be on my way in a timely manner. read more

Extremely unprofessional, rude and condescending ad well as unskilled in phlebotomy employee named Amber. This employee needs further education on venipuncture as well as Customer Service. Extremely unskilled in her job, several attempts were made in me but she could not get the vein and insisted on nearly going in at an almost 90 degree angle without the requested butterfly. even after she was pointed out which one is always used on me and successfully so . Another employee overheard her sending me to another location after she blew both of my veins. Amber is very cocky and rude, don't quite understand why Labcorps still has her employed here. Amber is vindictive and unprofessional. Quest has much more professional employees who are proficient in their skills aling with excellent communication skills and customer satisfaction The location only had myself and 2 other people waiting yet she complained about her workload out loud. She also turned away several other people who came in and told them they could go to another location. Please educate this particular employee or better yet replace her with someone else. read more

I have used Labcorp for years not just in Florida but other places also. I was always able to walk in and be able to have my blood drawn. Walked in to the Lab at Ascension 210 today where I have gone since living in Florida, no one in the waiting area but was not able to use the Kiosk as it stated that I had to make an appointment and could not make an appointment for a week. Labs are businesses and this is bad business,poor service. I went to another provider with no issues and will continue to use the other provider henceforth as will my wife. read more

I avoid Labcorp at all costs. I prefer Quest but Quest didn't offer the test I need. I was late for my appointment because there was a bad accident. I can't even find the place because there is no sign and it's inside another business. I am welcomed with a kiosk and I'm not even sure I checked in or not. So now I'm waiting outside there locked door inside an emergency room with tons of germs. Never again. So I don't even know if I'm being seen or not? No number to call and no one to speak to read more

Horrible customer service. I made an appointment for 720 at the Mandarin location. Received an email and text confirmation. They day of the appointment, I get sent a link to check in. I check in, am prompted to go inside and a sign is on the door that they are under renovation and to go to one of two locations. I went to Bartram and was confronted by the absolute rudest staff. I was told to check in standby and they would see me when they saw me. If at 4 they couldn't see me then I would have to leave and reschedule. I haven't eaten and my 9 year old daughter is with me. 3 other people arrive after me all upset. We were told that if we don't sit down they will call the cops on us. I would NEVER recommend this company. read more

Visited Labcorp today at their 14810 Old Saint Augustine Rd Unit 100 Jacksonville, FL 32258 location and could not have had a better experience! Mikaella & Mary were friendly, professional and efficient with how they were dealing with not only me, but everyone that came into their office. I didn't even have an appointment, I just walked in on a Friday morning and they took care of my need within minutes of arriving. If I could give them 100 stars, I would. If you need 'Lab' services, use this Labcorp. DO NOT use the 'Quest Diagnostics' at 13720 Old Saint Augustine Rd, unless, of course, you like working with unfriendly, unprofessional and downright 'nasty' people who do not value your time. read more

Arrived early to get lab work done and the tech/receptionist was just nasty. She barked that she didn't have any lab orders for me. I told her my doctor had faxed them in in the end of April. She said that their fax machine hasn't worked for months and that doctors should know that when they don't get a fax confirmation. So I asked her--the fax number rings and it appears to transmit and your telling me that the providers office is supposed to just know that it didn't go through? She responded--yes that they should know. She then proceeded to give me another fax number (that isn't published on their website). read more

I visited this location for a 3 hour glucose tolerance test, and it was great. The technician was really friendly and helpful, and really quick and good at her job. I was in and out in the right amount of time. I'd definitely recommend it. It is a smaller location, and they don't do drug screenings at this location, so that probably cuts down on the foot traffic. Everyone else I saw being helped was helped really quickly too. read more
