I had a disappointing experience with the customer service representative at the front counter. The blonde-haired lady called me up only to speak to me with an attitude, repeating herself and raising her voice as if she had woken up on the wrong side of the bed. When I calmly told her, "I don't like the way you're talking to me," she became even more upset, walked away, and told me to leave. Very unprofessional behavior. 06/05/2025 read more

Nice and clean location with plenty of parking. It's located just off Philips Hwy. The staff are super friendly and helpful, a special shout out to Allison in lab!!!! Thanks to you all for being so patient as I lost my email with the registration number, doh!!! The only problem I had was the " wait where you're comfortable " process. After checking in- the text message I received directed me to recheck in again once inside. Then after contacting my prospective employer about the registration number I still had to wait about 25-30 minutes. All while I was holding my pee for the drug test. My advice, just go inside and DO NOT delete the email with the number on it from your employer, oh and don't hold your pee- just go ahead and go an hour before your appointment, LOL read more

Horrendous treatment, never go here. I'd give zero stars if I could. I went here for a mandatory drug screening for a job, which requires a urine sample. Well, last time I did this at Labcorp, I was made to wait for 3 hours in the waiting room before they would do my test. Knowing this, I chose to use the restroom before my appointment today, since I figured they'd make me wait again. But this time, I was told my sample was not enough, and that I would be forced to wait in the building for several hours and try again. Im a mom, I work, I have responsibilities. I can't sit there all day. As a woman who recently had a baby and has bladder issues, my bladder simply does not hold very much. I have NEVER been able to fill up the cup, regardless of how long I try to wait. (And waiting causes extreme discomfort especially when you have no idea how long they will make you wait, and there are NO PUBLIC RESTROOMS!) The amount that I am able to produce has NEVER been a problem at doctors offices, it has never been a problem for pregnancy tests, and it was not a problem last time I did a drug test. But for some reason, this location couldn't seem to figure out how to do it. The woman doing the test was extremely rude. I was also initially told that if I leave and try to do it another day, they will report it as me "refusing" to do the test, and therefore would lose my job offer. So I was being forced to stay there like a prisoner. Absolutely disgusting, the place smelled disgusting, and I was treated like garbage. This is what women and people with disabilities have to face. Never go here. I left sobbing. Due to a medical condition that I cannot help. Right now I have no idea if I still am going to have a job. Just steer clear of ANYTHING on Phillips highway. read more

Arrived at 735 am and checked in with an automated system. The system was very user friendly that scanned you drivers license and medical card. Waited for about 5-7 minutes to be called to the front desk for payment information which they processed very quickly. The waiting room was very large with plenty of seating , a television and water fountain. From the time of talking to the front desk to having a phlebotomist come get me it was about 5 minutes. When I arrived there was about 14 people in the room. The staff here are very polite and professional. The wait for the entire process was quick and painless. They offer Walk In Appointments and Saturday times from 7-12pm. I would definitely use this facility again in the future for any testing. In the door at 735 out by 805. read more

Changing jobs usually means it's time to wee in the cup of the pre-employment drug screen; and most of the time that means visiting a LabCorp location to do so. My new employer sent me an email with a long list of LabCorp locations to visit for my drug screen wee and I picked this location because it was nearby. When I walked in I scanned my license and signed in to take a pre-employment drug screen at the quick check in kiosk. I was then called to the counter to give the LabCorp representative a number that was in the email so they could bill the right people, send my wee's results, etc... The lady working was very nice and took all my info. I was then called back to the back to do what I came there for. Luckily it wasn't more than a 5 minute wait; I had just downed a 20oz (venti) coffee and 16.5oz of water on the way. The representative working the wee collection was super nice and gave me the standard "here's your cup, fill it up, don't flush" speech. I was ready to perform what I came there for and took care of business quickly. I turned in my wee sample, washed my hands, signed a few papers, and was sent on my way. Professional and minimal wait time is a summary of my experience. Anytime I've been in this particular LabCorp I've always had a really nice experience. I've been in other locations with ho hum results. They greet, they do their job, they say have a good day. It's textbook and that's ok. However, for this staff to be lively at an early hour and still give personable service shows that they aren't on auto pilot. They understand service and delivering it in a great way. Let's face it, no one either wants to give blood or urine or whatever the orders call for, but what makes the anxious or apprehensive personal experience that much more comfortable is the human interaction. My appointment was at 830 am and I was seen at 835. Good stuff. I especially liked the text feature of 21st century type to alert me that they were still on top of things and for me to be prepared to be seen soon. It was an added plus for me. So if this LabCorp is in your area great! Go if you are given reason to go to one go to this one. It wasn't close to my area, but have car, will travel so I chose to go where I was comfortable and treated like a human. So this is why they earned 5 stars. read more

I had a horrible experience from the very beginning. The receptionist and staff members were rude and disrespectful. It was the worst customer service I've ever had. The lady who took my urine was impatient and lacked any manners during the entire process I was there. I left the facility speechless! Went for routine labs without and appointment, in and out in 15 minutes on a Saturday morning. Pleasantly surprised!

My 10 month old son had his blood drawn here for testing and they tried three times before the most experienced person came in to finally do it right. Having a baby stabbed that many times in both arms was horrible. Tip to the people here - do NOT experiment with infants and get the most experienced people on them INSTANTLY so they don't experience the same thing my son and I did. If you need practice go back to school and train with people who volunteered and are willing, don't do it with actual patients. read more

Love this lab! In and out quickly! Very professional! I know as my husband used to type and cross match blood in the Air Force in Wichita Falls, Tx! He went to UTA Arlington, Tx to graduate in Criminal Justice and thankfully to Law School at Texas Tech in Lubbock, Tx. He got to go there as my Aunt Sissy and Uncle Ed loaned us money to get Bert into Law School. We promptly paid it back as he realized he couldn't wait many years to become Clarence Darrow! He was excellent at getting his point across and helping people understand his point across on any subject but too type A to wait on them! He and William C. O'Neil of Ft Worth, Tx started Lab One! This LabCorp location is more efficient than any other location I have been to. I was designated to go to LabCorp for my wellness blood draw this year. I didn't want to take off of work so I was able to schedule an appointment for a Saturday morning. I had to make the appointment about a week in advance but that was fine. I was also able to make the appointment online which was convenient. I walked in a few minutes before my 10:30 appointment. I think around 10:27. They took my paperwork and ID. I was called back right at 10:30 and was out by 10:40. There were other people there but they stuck to my appointment time. They made it very easy and made a great start on my day of running errands. The staff was nice and personable. The phlebotomist was nice and answered by questions. I like to ask questions about the stuff around me or the different vials. I'm just curious that way. The site was clean and well maintained. It is located in a small shopping strip. It was easy to get in and out of. Even though I live in Orange Park I would definitely return to this location. read more

After reading the reviews on the Orange Park location I decided to visit this one minutes from my house for pre employment screening for a job on Fleming Island. Although the phone number doesn't give an option for making an apt. The website does. I had to use a GPS as it is located in Suite 495 in building 400 on the right off Phillips Hwy. but numbers are obscured by trees. Although they weren't busy and I was literally out in minutes it would be more efficient with an appointment. Staff very efficient and friendly. My doctor has her own lab in house. read more

I have bladder cancer and came to this location 10 minutes early with a very full bladder. The front desk receptionist his name is Shaniqua, or Betsy, she wouldn't be clear, she used to let me use the bathroom to relieve myself. I have never seen a medical facility with such a lack of empathy and compassion. I am so serious I would never recommend this location. read more

01.15.2019, the beginning of a eventful day. Had to have blood work done for two doctors. So made appointment at Lab Corp for ten a.m. got there early. Was standing out side there door and I collapsed. I was trying to get up just couldn't. Here comes four Lab Corp employees to find out what's going on. Super helpful. Cory my favorite Vampire took hold of my arm and wouldn't let go. He escorted me to one of the offices in the back sat me down and said don't move he was going to take care of the check in and every thing else. When we were done he escorted me back to my truck always with a hold on my arm. He put me in the truck made sure I was buckled and told me to have a good day and he would see me next time around. Can a person ask for better service from a group of people I don't think so. read more

I am a Registered Nurse and have been in the healthcare industry for more than 25 years, so employment drug screening is common. What is uncommon is the disgust that I experienced on the afternoon of 2/1/22 when I reported for random screening at the Philip Hwy Lab Corp site. I was instructed to give a specimen and not flush toilet after use. The masked gentleman opened the door to the toilet which was full of at least dozen wads of used toilet paper in the bowl. I said to him it doesn't look like anyone has flushed for a few days yet alone between patients. It looked like a dirty gas station out of order restroom toilet! He said that I had Four minutes to urinate into cup. this is unacceptable. I hope that after reporting this to my employer, that they will seek contracts with another diagnostic facility. read more

Yeah, I think her attitude goes beyond her possibly having a bad day. Lady- get some help, please. Whatever your issues are - address them. Meanwhile- Quest Diagnostics Twin Oaks at Sunbeam Rd, just down the street had me in and out in a matter of minutes, without the attitude. Exact same doctor orders. Made no difference to my insurance company or any applicable co-pays. They are exactly the same for either. Very happy with Quest with no intention of EVER going back to THIS Labcorp :) read more

Easily the worst location. The gentlemen ( which is a stretch because he was far from friendly ) who drew my blood was very unprofessional. He didn't bother to greet me or say anything to me for that matter. He grabbed my arms so rough to search for a vein , didn't prepare me just roughly poked and said "be back in an hour" keep in mind I had to do 3 blood draws and he was this unpleasant each time. I will never go back to this location and the employee needs to be retrained or find a new career because his people skills are very minimal and he lacks empathy for the people in his care. read more

So I came here for lab tests, which usually freak me out. Usually, I REALLY freak out for a minute. Today, I only shook out of nervousness, which is less than usual. My tech (I don't know her name but she's a younger African American lady) was extremely nice and did a great job of distracting me. It was over in less than a minute. I have to say, that was the quickest and greatest draw I've ever had. If I need work done, I will certainly come here! read more

I came here to do a simple drug test for work. They were taking people back 3 at a time. I waited for 1.5 hours to be seen. The process was painless but the wait time was horrible. The staff at the desk are friendly but the techs in the back are not. Don't try and say anything to them you will be ignored... Like literally ignored and pushed along. Which is fine I just wanted to get out of there anyway. Be prepared to wait. Make an appointment. They will take appointments fast. So next time I will make an appointment. For sure. read more

The 3 women working at this location today were extremely rude to my 16 year old daughter about her anxiety over having blood drawn. They were unwilling to accommodate her and refused to call another location. They told my husband she could get her blood drawn there or not at all. They made rude comments to each other and "under their breath" about my child. My husband became angry and took my daughter home and make an appointment at another location. read more

The service can range from great to terrible. The LabCorp location on Philips Hwy in Jacksonville is awesome. As with all locations, check-in is initially done at a kiosk which is simple and easy, especially if you have used it previously. Just be sure to have your driver's license. The wait times at this location are usually short, unlike many other locations. The people there are friendly and are experts at drawing blood. This location easily deserves 5 stars. The reason for 3 stars is I would give LabCorp regionally a 1 star. They are difficult to deal with. The telephone numbers available go to a regional call center. I just called to see if they have my doctor's order which he sent electronically. I have been in the past when they could not find it. I spoke to Josh at the call center and he said to simply call my doctor. I already know his office sent it. I need to know if LabCorp received it and can find it. He was abrupt, terse, and of no help even after I explained that I needed to verify LabCorp's receipt. This is often the type of service from their call center. I think my insurance now covers Quest as well as Labcorp. I used Quest before and preferred them over LabCorp as they are much more patient-oriented. Going to make the switch if my insurance allows. read more

Now they are getting your credit card information up front and patients have to sign a form stating that after they bill insurance they will automatically charge your credit card for remaining balance. This seems like signing a blank check. They didn't do this before. read more
