Started off bad because there were 2 Christine's and the woman had to go find out which last name was up. The waiting room is always packed at this location. There are 15 chairs and all but 3 seats were taken. You check in at a computer kiask and they want to scan your license and insurance card, so have it ready. They're pretty quick. I highly suggest making an appointment. The girl who drew my blood was soooo nice. So quick. You could barely feel her stick. Super nice and friendly. Very caring. read more

Customer service is horrible. Every time the one associate open the door to call the next patient she would make it a abundantly clear that they didn't appreciate walk ins , even with 2 people in the entire waiting room , thanks for making an appointment over and over again. I understand the priority of the appointments and some walk ins unfortunately are of circumstances which I won't go into here. Just saying you don't need to rudely broadcast this every time you open the door. Good Afternoon Quest Patients, It's always a pleasure to serve you, but its better to make an appointment rather then walk in or stand by, because with a appointment your in and out in no time, That's at all locations, if there is no appointment at the location you want, move on to the next location and if there is no open spots there just wait until an appointment becomes available don't just go to a quest location without an appointment or you will be waiting all day, so please take out a few minutes to make an appt on line its simple and easy to do it takes about 3 minutes and you will be glad that you did instead of getting upset with the phlebotomist that works there or calling corporate to complain, when you can help your self and just make an appointment simple. read more

I made my appointment online and instead of choosing the closest location to me which is at bartram park. I picked this sunbeam location because the reviews are much higher here. This lab isnt much bigger compare to all the other locations but the employees here work much faster and some are pretty nice. I signed in using the kiosk at the front desk and was called in within 5 minutes, which was surprising. I did all of my paperwork online, so it helped to reduce wait time. My phlebotomist was an older gentleman, he was friendly and helpful. I had a pleasant experience here and would recommend this location over all the other ones. read more

I had my 2 weeks ago for blood work and have always made an appointment for early morning. There is always a line to sign in but with an appointment, I move to the head of the line. Appointment have privileges. I was in and out in seconds. I have to go to Quest due to my insurance. What a time savers to book a appointment. Then sign in for your appointment and 2 seconds later be called for your blood work. It is amazing to see that appointment can finally work for the customer. On the other hand, my wife never make an appointment and she will wait or walk out. read more

The staff here are not very nice, and it took the nurse 3 tries to get blood from me and I'm so sore. I have had a lot of blood taken and this was one of the worst. Not good. Also they require masks which is fine by me but they do not offer any so keep that in mind when you go. read more

The absolute worst experience ever. The workers were rude and had an attitude. Do not depend on being a walk in and being seen. I had an employee that helped me check in as a walk in and then an hour later after I asked I was told that they don't have time for walk ins. The next available appt when I was checking in was an hour wait and she asked if I wanted to wait that long or just be a walk in assuming that I would be seen before the appt time that was over an hour away. By the time it got to that appointment time is when I said something and she was sarcastic and said "well you said you didn't want the 9AM" without letting me know if I didn't not take that appointment I would not be seen. So I proceeded to ask for a doctor's note for my manager at work and they refused to give me a doctor's note after sitting there for 2 hours bc I was not seen. Even the other patients in the waiting room were surprised by her unprofessional response. Eventually I got up and left. These workers are extremely unprofessional, rude, & do not communicate. I do NOT recommend this location. I hope management is aware of how poor their employees are. read more

DO NOT USE THIS QUEST LABORATORY on Sunbeam Road! I went here for the first time because I could get an appointment earlier than my usual Quest on University and Beach. Sorry I did. THEY ARE NOT USING THE CORRECT PRECAUTIONS! They did not ask any of the COVID screening guidelines. Never asked any of the patients the standard COVID questions EVERYONE asks at any medical facility and DID NOT check any temperatures as they came in. Yes, only 4 people at a time in the waiting area, but no screening whatsoever. The technician who drew my blood only had a shield on his face, no mask. This protects his eyes and face from droplets but DOES NOT protect other people from HIS breathing out of droplets, nor does it protect him from breathing in droplets. So, NO PROTECTION and this is all in violation of COVID government health department guidelines. I'm not even sure if they are cleaning the stations in between patients because they sure seemed to be in a hurry, and they are being very lax about following even basic procedures. I will not be back to this lab and I'm calling QUEST to find out if this is standard procedure for all locations. Now I'm concerned for my own health after this visit to this medical facility where they are NOT following preventative procedures. UPDATE! Called Quest Customer Care and they informed me that all Quest locations are supposed to be using the standard COVID Scanning questions and temperature tests! Also reported the technician who was not wearing a mask. They said this was in violation of their procedures and will be looking into it. So if you visit a QUEST LAB and they DO NOT FOLLOW COVID PROCEDURES - I recommend you leave and report them to Quest Customer Care. read more

Easily made an appt online. Check in with electronic pad kept confidentiality vs writing name on paper for everyone to see. Was greeted by front staff with a smile, thank u, sometimes that makes all the difference. Tech was professional, easily found my vein, no problem. This is the best lab i've been to in 4 states! Other Quest lans & competitors still use paper & call out your full name in the wait area. Professional staff, friendly, polite, efficient. Too bad i don't live here, the nearest Quest to me is an hour away. Decided to come here while on a trip so my doc could get my results in time for my next appt. I recommend this IF and only IF you make an appointment. I went in, signed in for my set appointment and it said my wait was 93 minutes. I had a choice of waiting inside where it was overflowing or in my car. I decided to go to another lab and went to my car. Before I could get out of the parking lot I received a text it was my turn. I went back inside and sat down. I talked to a couple people who'd been waiting hours and then the tech called me in. A few people looked very unhappy that I basically walked in & was called. The tech was very kind and professional, drew the 6 tubes of blood and I was out the door in 5 minutes. They need to somehow communicate that if you have an appointment you will not wait hours. There was no person at the front. All of the check in was electronic. It was very confusing for some elderly people who came in while I was there. At a minimum they need a receptionist to help people sign in and explain there are separate waiting lists for those with appointments and others who just walk in. read more

I made an appointment over a week ago for today at 2:30. I took time OFF FROM WORK for my appointment. Got there about 2:25, straight from work, where masks are NOT REQUIRED so I didn't have one on me, and since most of our city no longer requires one, I don't keep masks in my car anymore. My appointment was CANCELED on me. No notice, no we're sorry, they just turned me away from getting my A1C tested. I got home and looked up the CDC recommendation for our area: it's LOW in Duval county, so masks are NOT supposed to be required. I'll add that I am vaccinated and boosted. I checked my 6 year old in for labs (walk in), the system stated that it would be 30mins to an hour before we would be seen. Which is fine and understandable! During our wait (about 30mins in) an employee came out and I asked if my daughter could use the restroom and she showed us the way. She didn't state anything about them running behind, closing early or my daughter not being seen. She actually said we will call you back shortly. We continued to wait, somehow the heat got turned up in the waiting room and it was blistering hot. People where going outside into the freezing cold because it was better then the heat. An older gentlemen asked an employee who walked out if they could turn the heat down, she caught the nastiest attitude with him. We are now at a 2 hr wait and an employee comes out and says we will not be taking any walk ins today, then abruptly shuts the door. I knock on the door and ask you mean "no more walk ins after the ones that have checked in?"(we were the only walk in btw) And she says "I said no walk ins right" I explained we had waited 2 hrs and nobody said anything about not being able to see us or the possibility of not see us. She said "well that is not my fault." With the nastiest attitude. I asked for the site manager before I lost my filter because of her attitude. She brought me his business card and said he was gone for the day. I guess she didn't think I would call but I called as I was walking to my car and he answered. I told him my experience and he said well I am at this location right now. But still refused to allow my daughter to be seen and refused to rectify the situation by any means. I see this is a trend at this location and wish I would have read the reviews before going. I ended up making an appointment at a different location but I would like to note this other location allowed people to check in all the way to 5 minutes before closing and they promised to get to them. The Philips highway location needs to take note and learn customer service read more

Comparing to the few Quest labs I've been to this place by far the best. I usually do walk ins at this location because it's not crowded and I never had to wait over 10 minutes. The staff here are much friendly than some of the other Quest. The phlebotomist are quick and only take one try. They are also gentle. read more

I did not want to do a "walk-in" because I had my granddaughter with me and I really did not want to wait. Having said that, I went online to make my appointment for the next day which was a Friday. I selected a location and Quest gave me available open times, which I selected 12:00 pm. Fast forward to Friday, I sign in via the iPad sign in feature and sit down. I'm waiting and watching people come in and sign in. Then I started seeing the employees call other names of people who came in after me and the time was now 12:30pm. I walk up to the counter and told him I had an appointment. I gave him my info and nothing. I was really upset because now I have to wait longer and I rushed to get there on time. The employee was actually nice and they called me back 5 minutes later. The person who drew my blood did an excellent job. He only had to prick me once and he was thorough. I'm not giving 5-Stars because Quest needs to work on their online appt section. read more

THEY ARE SOOOO EXTREMELY RUDE!! As soon as you walk in the door they are unfriendly with a nasty tone demanding that you have an appointment and demanding that you wear a mask. i have no issues with either of those things its all about how they say it! Their tone is incredibly off putting. Then I explained my dr told me they sent the orders to their system here and she looks at me crazy and says "you gonna have to call them and we wont see you until we get it so go on ahead and have a seat". Theres a nice way to say Anything and clearly they dont care about the service they provide. I will make sure i never return to this location. read more

Very disappointed. My husband had a 3:15pm appointment and was running 5 minutes late (because of work). He tried their phone number twice and could not get ahold if anyone. When he arrived at 3:20pm (5 minutes late), the doors were locked and the employees just looked at him through the window when he waved and knocked on the door. Their hours state they are open until 3:30pm. This is ridiculous! Getting off work mid-day for an appointment is not easy for him and he was quite upset when he realized they had locked him out. read more

Waited for hours to get my blood drawn even though I had an appointment . I wasn't the only person that was waiting for hours. No one works the front desk. I saw Roaches in the waiting room. Poor customer service. Phlebotomist aren't helpful in advising wait time they completely ignore anyone waiting and are very rude. The lady at the front desk was so friendly and then the lady that drew my blood for my yearly blood work , was extremely sweet, and made it quick and painless. I have had a fear of needles ever since I was a kid(I'm now 45). I have avoided bloodwork many times throughout my life when sick just because I can't nerve up to have a metal rod jammed in to me and watch my blood come out. I was given orders from my PA to get it done no matter what because of my current issue. I came up to this location after sitting on the script for a week. I was met by a guy named Jason at the counter. He was very nice and could tell I was nervous as all hell. I realize after it was already in that he was keeping me busy as to not focus on it. Within seconds I looked down and he already had a vial on me. I was absolutely blown away by this guys skills. So much as I went back the next day and thanked him after explaining my fear.
