Hillary who is the NP there is the best! She took care of me and was very thorough, I did not feel rushed. Excellent bedside manner too.

I am 46 as of this writing so I have been going to doctors for many years. i have had doctors I…read moreliked and others I couldn't stand. I LOVE Dr. Evans at Family Fountain. Dr Bo Evans, is close to my age which is always nice(i'm probably adding a few years to him so please forgive me Dr Bo). He has always always taken all the time I needed to understand any new medicine or treatment. He seems like a genuinely happy guy and he takes the time to get to know you. I moved to Chicago in Nov 2014 but since i still have a home in Mandarin I would fly down there for my checks ups and other visits rather than find a doctor up here. Unfortunately I don't get back to Jax as often now so I have to officially change doctors. I'm really going to miss Dr Bo. Incidentally my wife and kids all went to Family Fountain and we all have nothing but good things to say about that office.

My family and I have all been patients here for 20+ years. I absolutely love my PCP, Dana. She…read morehas become more than just my doc... she's become an amazing friend. I started out with Dr. Evans ans somehow got moved to her care shortly after that. Best thing that could've happened for me. My boys both saw whomever had an available appt when they needed to be seen and are since grown with families of their own -- but they had no issues while under the care of FFM growing up. Since the swith / purchase by Millennium Physicians group -- things are just not what they used to be. Things seem much more corporate/less personalized and not necessarily patient centered. This is definitely NOT the choice of the office staff but it is certainly affecting the practice. I've never had to chase down refills or pre-authorizations myself until recently (which is my biggest complaint as of now). If it weren't for my PCP....... I'd have left FFM/Millennium shortly after the switch. Everyone's healthcare should have the benefit of human care/interaction/interest and not just a "check here" mentaility. Each person is different and should be treated as such! Healtcare in a box just doesn't work!

I have been going to Baptist Primary Care at Mandarin South since I moved back to Jacksonville in…read more1992 and Dr. Terry Hayes is my doctor. I was very happy when I got the referral from a cousin and have been happy with them since. The office is always clean and the staff friendly and professional. I don't think I have ever had to wait more than 10-15 minutes to be called to go back. The nurses, PA's and assistants are all caring, knowledgeable, and willing to help, plus I never have to leave the premises for bloodwork and x-rays. If a referral is needed I can always depend on the staff to get me set up with an appointment as soon as possible. Nora, in particular, has always been exceptional with follow through. Several years ago my husband was not happy with his PCP and I recommended Dr. Hayes, who he also goes to now and really likes. Over the years I have seen several other doctors there, if I needed help right away and Dr. Hayes wasn't available, I found that they were also very caring and helpful.

Scheduling I would…read morenot say scheduling has been on the mark. My lab work was scheduled after my visit with the doctor, and then I received a text message advising that the date and time had been changed. Because I have low blood sugar, I cannot have a late-morning appointment. There were also three separate attempts to get my imaging orders sent to the correct location. While I did speak with some individuals who were professional on the phone, all of my imaging requests were routed through referrals, and that is where the process broke down. I understand that end-of-year volume may be a factor, but these issues have made scheduling unnecessarily difficult.

For my POC!! Do not come here! They're rude.. From that receptionist that sits closer to the door…read moreto the Doctor and Office Manager!! My doctor was switched and I was never informed until I arrived at my appointment today. My doctor no longer works here (Dr.Yoder) was my physician The doctor (PA) Sonila Musta Kina that I saw today is the absolute WORST doctor I've ever encountered! She was very dismissive, she took me off of medications that I've been on for years (I have Lupus and fighting to not get stomach cancer) but because she doesn't like them she removed them and said that I need a specialist to get those medications.. this is the same office that have refilled my medications plenty of times before. Fast forward I then heard her kindly speak to other patients (ones that skin isn't like mine) and it was a completely different tone. I don't know if she ended up given them just as bad service and care as she did me but I will NEVER see her again (I rather die). Then I requested to speak to the office manager and she wasn't no help.. the PA really got nasty after I wanted to speak to the office manager. This was the MOST disrespectful and disgusting appt I've ever had! I will be lookin for a new MD today! Save yourself and don't come here!!

I needed to switch primary doctors as mine moved to another facility further away and I had been…read morewanting to go to a center closer to home anyway. While I was never a patient there, St.Vincent's has been phenomenal in taking care of my boyfriend and my Mother when they had issues. It never dawned on me that behind the hospital in the Joe Adams building they were seeing people for everyday care. I went in and the staff were so friendly, seeing that I was a new patient. I had requested they send me all the new patient paperwork in the mail so that I could fill it out ahead of time, especially the medical records transfer and they did this in a matter of days. I waited maybe 10 minutes before I was called back. My new doctor, Dr. Katie Longo, might be slightly younger than me but she was so helpful an courteous. We reviewed all my old records and anything that may have come up since my last doctor's visit and she put everything in the system. She also informed me that I don't need certain exams as often as I had been going prior. I wish my old doctor had told me that. I could have saved myself unnecessary trips. I really like her and I love how it's so close to me now. I would definitely recommend this doctor's office to anyone.
