Horrible location. Team members are unfriendly and robotic. They act like you are an inconvenience to them. Phlebotomist drew my blood and placed the tubes in her lab coat. I wouldn't think this is a standard procedure when drawing blood. Great way to lose or contaminate the sample. Lab area is wide open with other patients and staff coming and going and no curtain and no privacy. read more

I'm amazed at the bad reviews! I went to the Gilbert office on Val Vista and couldn't have been treated nicer. My doctors office was unable to do my blood test so they said to go to Labcorp. I had many bad issues that day with the doctors office and was happy to go anywhere else. Both women at Labcorp Gloria and Kelle were wonderful!!!!! They took care of me right away and were beyond helpful. If I need any labs done this is the place I would go to. Thanks to both of you for everything!!!!!!! read more

Long story... but basically the Office Manager at this location is not very friendly. The first visit, she could not read one of the tests on my lab slip so would not draw blood and expected me to follow up with the doctor to get the name of the test. The second visit, I waited 45 minutes and was still not called up the the desk. When I asked where I was in the queue (mentioning that other people who came after me were going before me and maybe they had appointments) she told another patient that I was rude and embarrassed me enough to cry, so I left and went to another location (where I was in and out in less than 30 minutes). read more

Had THE BEST experience this morning taking my toddler (21 months) to have her blood drawn! We arrived at 7:10 or so. Although the office was hard to find, it was entirely my fault for not knowing the building number or suite. So once I looked at that information everything was a breeze! When we went inside it was completely empty. The 4 names on the sign in sheet had already been highlighted and seen. We signed in and sat down. My daughters name was called right away. I didn't catch the name of either women who helped us but they were incredible! Especially with an upset little girl. We were in and out in about 20 minutes. I DEFINITELY recommend this location to anyone and everyone! We will only go here when lab work needs to be done. read more

I had a 9am appointment today at the Val Vista office. I waited over an hour past that time. I was fasting and by the time I got in I was dizzy and shaking. I asked for some juice or something with sugar and was told they don't have anything like that. I'm amazed that they have two stars, and sorry I have to give them even one. Went in for blood drawn for a physical on 9/28/1800. A week later I came down with a bacterial infection. The nurse who drew my blood did not wipe the injection site with a disinfectant before the blood being drawn or afterwards I will never go there again and suggest that anyone that uses their services, please make sure they disinfect you before and after inserting the needle. Here it is Feb. 2019, and I still have the bacterial infection in spite of prednisone and anti biotics. read more

I took my son here who has a severe phobia of blood tests and I'd spent days convincing him he needed to go. I told the Receptionist and the Lady taking the test. Thinking they would discretely take his mind off it as others in the past have. She instantly tapped his veins and said 'you've got nice big veins, I'm going to take 4 vials of blood' My son thought about the big juicy veins and big vials filling up' as anyone would and instantly passed out. I'm giving them a 3 Star because of the way the Receptionist dealt with it in calm professional manner after the incident and because the person taking the blood continued to do so after he'd passed out - He wasn't going to go back if they weren't completed then. Unfortunately he does need another set of bloods but now down right refuses to get them done. read more

Front desk coordinator is incompetent although & has been here 10 years. Maybe they should train her. But there was time for them to enjoy their Starbucks! Kiosks handle all the registration. What is it they do but keep putting people off & giving "10 more minute" excuses every time asked how much longer? Finally saw a tech at noon for an 11:15 appointment. I've been to several Labcorp locations in Phoenix, Tucson and surrounding areas. This is by the far the cleanest and friendliest one! The people were so helpful, coming into the lobby to help people check in and fill out paperwork. My doctor forgot to send over my order and the lady working the front desk was so nice and understanding about it and gave me the fax number ti get it sent immediately. Then the phlebotomist was super friendly and apologized for me having to wait and it wasn't even their fault. Very professional, proficient and quick. I will only use this location from now on, even though I live more than 30 minutes away! read more

Sister needed blood work, and the wait was (not exaggerating) and hour and a half for the freaking check in. Not just to go to the back. The front ladies at the desk were condescending and patronizing to pretty much every person they spoke to, especially the lady with the short hair and glasses at front desk. She was wearing a headband the day we came 02/14/2020. We got there before 8:30am, and there was a lady who cane in at 9:20 who got in before my sister. There were several people who were checked in and even called back before my sister was even checked in (yes we checked in on the kiosks then they call you up front, and then you get called back). I went to this location to have my blood drawn Monday. I was seen by a very young phlebotomist. I told her where my veins were normally found and she immediately said, "no, I don't like that" without even giving it much of a glance (or feel). Now, I'm not a phlebotomist but I've been married for 30 years to a man that has been a laboratory technologist for 29 years, now lab manager who runs a hospital lab. When in school it was my veins he practiced on. I'm not leery of needles and I learned alongside him. This girl stuck me 2 times, both leaving bruises. She wiggles that needle all over and claimed she couldn't get blood because, "you must be dehydrated". No, I'm not and no, you just didn't stick that needle in the correct spot. I know most bruises are the fault of the patient, however this one was not my fault whatsoever. Lucky for this girl I'm not squeamish with it comes to needles. I will probably return to Labcorp strictly due to convenience but if I see her coming I'll have my husband teach her the correct way of drawing blood. read more

The absolute worst service I've ever experienced in my life! They drew my blood and then lost the requisition so by the time everything got figured out the blood was too old! Being a difficult draw to begin with this is very frustrating as they were unable to complete the original requisition. I ended up going to Sonora quest for the remainder of the requisition so now that the first blood draw at labcorp got lost, I have to do it for the third time in a week! Ridiculous! read more

This place is the worst. The receptionist at the desk is stubborn and does not listen. I have been going for weekly and monthly lab work from several different doctors who sent the DATED orders with what tests they want done and when. The orders are sent to me also and when I told her the labs I needed, she said "I have the doctors ordered and these are the tests you need" the labs she was trying to do WERE NOT WHAT THE DOCTOR WANTED. she persisted to argue with me saying "the doctor sent the orders and I am looking at them right here". It so happens my doctor is right next door to the lab so I left and went there to clarify. I told my doctor the labs they claim they have an order from him on and he looked it up and told me, "NO, THAT IS NOT WHAT I SENT THEM! They are a bunch of idiots!. I had them copy the orders and I took it Back to LabCorp and showed them, and all she had to say was please be nice, I am nice to you. The point is that I know what I am supposed to get from the lab and they are so stubborn, they won't listen when I tell them that the labs are wrong. They also wanted me to put a credit card on file and I refused due to the fact I have satisfied all the deductibles and copays and do not owe anything. I don't know why they can't read the request dates for the lab orders and they constantly make me go across the way to get the orders and won't listen to me. THEY ARE THE MOST INCOMPETENT AND UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE I HAVE EVER SEEN. AND THEY ARE STUBBORN AND RUDE WHEN THEY ARE PROVEN WRONG. read more

Ok, nobody likes getting a blood draw but this was definitely the worst experience I've ever had. I've had a lot of blood draws over the years including one where I passed out while pregnant and I'm no longer squeamish about it. This was still by far the worst experience because thankfully, people were kind and caring when that happened. To start, the 3 front desk staff waited as long as possible to acknowledge my existence and there was only one other person waiting. Then, the lady rudely told me I would need to bring paperwork in for the next time since my dr had sent the order electronically. After that, I waited at least 15 minutes while they all chatted. The people working the desk also turned out to be the same people drawing blood too which was strange. Finally, an old woman weakly called my name and then she never said one word to me as she proceeded to take my blood. She didn't confirm my identity, birthdate, nothing. I've never had that happen before so now I'm uncomfortable and nervous. Also, usually, I am asked if I have a preference which arm. Since she didn't speak, I asked her to use my left arm. Still, no words, just seemed irritated at my request. She didn't do a terrible job at the actual draw but still said nothing! I mean, it was awkward! And then when I walked out by the front desk, the lady there actually leered at me! I felt like I was in a creepy episode of American Horror Story! Finally, to top it off, even though the actual blood draw didn't hurt, my arm hurts/aches up to my shoulder worse than any I've had before. If you hate people this much, I can't understand why you would choose a job "helping" people instead of working in a lab hidden away from the public. The lady at the front desk was very kind and unlike some people in other locations had a personality. Overall my experience was great. I am a cancer patient and have been to this location many times to have my blood drawn. Unfortunately this is the closest one to my home. It's never fun to have your blood drawn but this place is never staffed and never has a sense of urgency. They call back one patient every 15 min. It's ridiculous. Worst service ever! Wait times are absolutely ridiculous. No communication from the employees on how long you will be waiting or how much longer you will have to wait. Waited for over an hour with no one saying a word to me! Then an employee comes to the front desk to announce they will be starting lunches and the triple booked wait will now be even longer. And for walk ins..... exponentially longer. If you need to walk in don't plan on anything else for the rest of your day. You'll be sitting there waiting all day. I walked in and signed the list then asked the woman at the desk about the electronic sign in. Clearly she DID NOT want to be there, with her poker face she just pointed, spoke not a word. NICE start. I signed in, obviously there was some issue as the lab tech was signing people in while "Po face" sat doing something!? My appt was at 8:30 so when it was 14 mins AFTER my time I went and asked Po face how late they were running, with the same miserable face she said "5 MINUTES." Really but its already 14 mins PAST my time. I needed to do a urine sample, alas NO CUPS. So i asked Po face and was given 1 cup. So Labcorp clearly some of your staff are miserable, can't say hello or even be polite, in addition they are clearly NOT keeping an eye on any clock, they shout out your name Yes FULL NAME(Ever heard of HIPAA) Supplies of cups and staff seem to be POOR. I finally got called 29 minutes late(and I had an appt) Have your staff ever been trained to let CUSTOMERS KNOW they are running late(It's not difficult) Please tell me why the hell I would think of going to that place ever again? read more

Probably had one of the rudest people I've ever seen working the desk. Waited for 20 minutes past my scheduled time just to have them send me away because I needed a doctor's order when I called them the day before and they said I did not need one. In those 20 minutes I heard the woman at the front desk berate anyone who dared try to get in on a walk-in basis, telling them she was triple booked and was packed to the gills with appointments. There were 5 people in the lobby including myself. Where exactly were all these triple booked appointments? They also were going to charge me $50 more than Sonora Quest charged me. It's a $30 test (out of pocket) that they wanted $80 for. I will never step foot in one of their labs again. read more
