I arrived on time, but this is a small salon and so I waited about 5-10 minutes before they started. My manicurist gave me a nice polish and was quick, although they had me sit in front of a fan for 15 minutes to dry (I prefer when there is a table setup to dry). Overall I loved the acrylics I had done, they were even, not thick and the shape that I wanted. Unfortunately, less than 2 weeks after having them they already started lifting. Don't think I will ever be coming back or recommending this place. For starters I called ahead, they said they could take me for a gel mani and pedi. Another woman started to do my mani while I'm getting my pedicure, didn't soak my nails before starting to cut my cuticles etc, had my arms in an awkward position while she's then trying to start my color with the gel... I was uncomfortable and couldn't even enjoy my pedicure. It felt very rushed. On top of that, she messed up and then decided she'd just wait to get to a table. I got to the table and she's still not doing a great job with the color. She tried to cut my cuticles again and cut skin, made me bleed quite a bit and then had to redo the polish multiple times. She messed up enough that she ended up needing to do 4 coats of the gel polish... unreal. Then at the end, didn't even offer a discount for messing up my nails. I won't even get started on the screw up for the design I asked for. I'm honestly not sure why this place has such good reviews. There are pictures to show what happened. $70 for this awful botch job, I'm a nice human so I still gave her a $10 tip that was very much not deserved for an awful experience. UPDATE: I ended up being upset even after getting into my car and about to drive home so I walked back in and asked for a refund for my manicure and they did give me $40 back, without any fight so I'm glad for that. My nail tech was efficient and did what I asked for in my very simple mani/pedi. However, did not have a process for me to wash my hands or soak my nails. My hands were sticky and she also did not clean under my nails. These two things combined left me feeling pretty gross by the time I left. I never give any reviews, but you should listen to this: Just started getting my nails done recently after years of not being able to afford it. I don't do artificial nails, just my own with the gel. After about 2 months with this salon, decided to do something different. Went with their "chrome" polish at their suggestion. It totally ruined my natural nails, to where they broke down to the skin, even bleeding. When I went to remove .the polish, it would not come off with acetone, or any other method. Never saw anything like it. I called, they said to come in. They would take care of it. I was so grateful to my tech to get this nail wrecking off, I gave him a $10 tip! This was the worst nail salon I've ever been to. Not only was it filled with dust, skin, and old cut nails, but there were bugs everywhere. Bugs stuck to the nail polish oil bottles and lotion. I asked for French manicure no-chip. Big mistake. The lady kept complaining how tired she was and complaining that they were so busy. Then she left the foil/polish remover on for so long (had a no-chip on already) that my fingers started to burn. The French manicure looks like I tried to do my own nails, my skin is flaking off on my fingers, and the nails look orange for some reason. I started coming here 6 months ago and I haven't stopped! It took me a long time to leave a review because I usually like to stop by a nail shop place a few times before judging it :P First off, I love that I don't have to call in. I can always message them via text and I usually get a response in less than 15 mins for an appt. I haven't had a problem in getting an appt day of; sometimes for the same hour! Second, I don't have a preference in the technician, and I think I was serviced by all of them at least once. All of them are great! Some are faster than others and those that are slower are because they want to make sure they get your nails done perfectly. If you are in a hurry, let them know. My review is solely on the dipped mani and regular pedi because that's the only thing I ever get. I love that they have a huge selection of colors and that they have a 14 day policy on pedi and 12 days on dipped mani. And for real people, they do last that long. On the cases that it doesn't (which happens occasionally), you can come in and get it serviced for free. Make sure you write down the color number at the end of your appt. For the pedi, I love that they have a filling out card that asks you what kind of lotion and scrub you would like. They have quite a selection and all of them are great! My favorite are the lavender, rose and mango. The regular pedi without any add ons are $28. Dipped mani is $40 and on Mon-Wed it is $35 with cash. I think this is a great deal! They also have an electronic punch card reward system (all logged by your phone number) and I've always been able to get a 10% discount. The store also has its own private parking lot and shark tank or chopped always playing in the background. If tv is not your thing, the store also has its own private mini library. I'm a regular now and I don't regret it one bit. They are open literally EVERY SINGLE DAY of the year. New Years, Christmas... you name it. The only reason this place deserves 2 stars instead of 1 star is because my nails look nice. The lady--Jenna--who did my pedicure and dip powder manicure was extremely rude to me throughout my whole visit. I would describe this mani/pedi as "straight out of hell," lol. Jenna gave me a sheet to look at while starting my pedicure. I asked her what it was, and she said, "Circle one." so I read that i was being offered a scrub and a lotion choice. I tried to take the pen in my right hand, and she aggressively took my right hand to get the dip powder off of my nails. I didn't quite understand what she was doing since she didn't tell me. I am right-handed so I did the best I could with my left hand. I also saw I could add on a five-minute foot massage. For a working mom of two (including a baby), that sounded amazing! Unfortunately, Jenna told me she "didn't have time" and took the paper away from my hands aggressively. It just got worse from there. Jenna either was having a terrible day and taking out her aggression on me, or she blatantly made it clear that she did NOT like me. While sitting at the manicure table later, I guess I moved a bit while talking to my friend. Jenna stopped what she was doing, laughed in my face, and glared at me. I said, Oh I'm so sorry, did I move? And there was no response. When I was getting ready to pay, I didn't realize that she wanted my credit card to swipe it. I was waiting with my credit card, and she said something quietly without addressing me (keep in mind she never addressed me or said "please." My 3-year-old has better manners than her!). Then at the top of her lungs, she shouted, "SIXTY-EIGHT!!!" I said, Oh, sorry, I didn't realize you were talking to me. Again, the laugh and the glare. She was right there when asking for a tip and pointed to it and was looking at it, so I felt obligated to choose the lowest option, even though I didn't want to tip her at all. I was also never asked to wash my hands, and when Jenna did the dip, she used the dip right from the container without pouring any into a smaller container, which didn't seem sanitary to me at all. There were several other things that happened throughout the experience as well, and I felt it was rushed, too. My friend's nail tech, Tammy, was very nice, though!! If you go to this place, PLEASE do NOT ask for Jenna! She will take her rage out on you!! read more

This is the first place where my nail technician filed my nails down just the way I like, without telling me she can't because it's too close to the skin. Even the way she filed them was smooth. This is a week from when I got them done, my nails grow fast and still look fresh! Second picture it's been two weeks now, and they are barely chipping. Ugh, I'm literally so happy with this place and nail technician! The place is small, comfortable and from what I observed, clean. This was first time here on 1/17/18. After all the great reviews on yelp, my friend and I figured we would give it a try..specifically for their nail dip colors. We had appointments for 3:30 but we have arrived a little earlier. They were gracious enough to take us a little earlier as they weren't too busy yet. When we arrived, the staff was nice. They had us pick our nail colors which was plentiful considering the rings of colored plastic nails we had to sort through. The nails techs also helped me choose a color when I had asked for their suggestion which I appreciated. They did offer us drinks, my friend and I were under the impression they had wine, but in the cooler there was only soda and water...which was fine....but wine would have been better. Lol! The nail tech that did my nails did an okay job. I showed the shape that I wanted for my nails which were short versions of "coffin" nails. She shaped my nails just fine. However, I did explain that for my left thumb nail, I would like an extension as that nail was much shorter than the rest of fingers and I wanted them to look even. She was able to put the extension on and I thought it has adhered to my nail pretty good. When all was said and it done, my nails looked good...to the point where they actually looked fake (which only my left thumb was because of the extension). The process itself was long but well worth it (for the most When I was driving home with my friend, I realize that there was a gap between my let thumbs extension and my natural nail. Essentially, it looked like the acrylic nail extension was lifting. The nail tech either didn't adhere the extension properly to my nail or she didn't cut my natural nail short enough before she put the extension. Either way, I was not happy. That gap is a possible breeding ground for infection and must be taken care of sooner than later. They do have a warranty on their nails so I'm going to make use of that today and have them fix it. I paid good money for my nails and they deserve to be perfect as I leave the salon. It's only been one day so I'm going to see if my nail can be salvaged to match of the rest of my (almost) perfect nails. I will provide an updated review later on today. -- Updated review: I came back here on March.11, 2018 to get my dipped nails removed. When I was last here and got my nail fixed by O. He told me that whenever I wanted to get them removed, I could come back and get them removed for free, so today...I did just that. However, with that...I got charged $10 for removal and the removal was done horribly. The lady who removed my dipped nails was a white lady who seemed very inpatient waiting for the acetone to soak through. She had this pained look on her face the entire time. Not to mention, when she finally did take the nail polish off, there was still remains of glitter nail polish all around the skin of my nail and I actually had to ask her for more acetone to clean it up. Now, my actually nails after the dipped nail removal looked like crap. They were horrible, dry and cracked...the lady who removed the nail polish didn't offer me cuticle oil or even hand lotion, she was just content with how horrible they looked and I left the salon like that. As for paying for my service, I did not know that in order for the dipped nail removal to be free, I had to have another service done. When I last saw O, he fixed my butchered nail that another nail tech here did and told me when I wanted them removed to come back and they would remove it for free. That did not happen and I ended up getting charged $10, they printed me out a receipt and said if I wanted to talk to O another time I could because their manager was not in. It is unfortunate that O was not there because he is the only staff member worthy of recognition there, he does a great job and provides awesome customer service. In my mind, I paid $10 for a shi**y removal by a horrible nail tech who didn't even offer me cuticle oil or hand lotion when she saw the state that my nails were in. Besides O, everyone else is rude and seems to be in a rush to get home and their customer service is lacking. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time with horrible service at this salon, this is the second. First, my artificial nail was put on haphazardly and second, I got charged $10 for a removal when I was never informed AND told something different by O. Overall, I think this place has run out of chances from me and I'll be taking my services elsewhere. Therefore, im changing my previous 5 star review to 1 star based on my two crap experiences with their services here. I had been going here and having Kevin do my mani/ pedi. I made a reservation today because they had sent me a coupon for a discounted no chip mani and regular pedicure. The woman was a middle aged Asian woman who talked to herself the entire time, rather than to me. And the quality of the no chip mani was poor. After 90 minutes I had had enough. The mani polish did not cover the whole nail bed. And several of the tips of my nails were jagged. When it came time to pay I showed them the coupon they sent to me which expires 11/30/19. The no chip mani was one price. The pedi a separate price. Nothing was written that I could not combine the two; but they tried to say that I could not. I stood my ground and got the discounted price. Such a difference from when Kevin was there. I will not be hurrying back there. A lot of conversing in non-English.
