This place is great! I highly recommend it. This will definitely be my go-to spot for getting my nails done. (I just moved to the neighborhood.) It was spotless and with a warm and welcoming decor and vibe. It has zero odor (they don't do whatever service causes all the fumes). My nail tech was very kind and professional. My cuticles are a mess and I was introduced to a service I had never heard of called a Russian manicure where they use a drill (very, very carefully with great precision!) to remove all the dry dead skin. It was incredible! It is not cheap but was worth it. The staff and female owner were very professional. You can tell the owner was very purposeful with all the finer details. I'm in Chicago area from out of town and looked online to find a nail salon near my hotel that offered powder dip manicures. The 20% grand opening discount is what prompted me to make an appointment. The salon is new, clean, and beautifully decorated. One of the owners (Sue) did my manicure and was helpful in helping me get just the right color, while someone else did my pedicure. It was nice to be in a salon where the people who work there are friendly. I wish them great success in their new location in Northbrook right near Mariano's. I will return to get a mani/pedi there the next time I am in town. read more

I'm visiting the area and was walking to lunch and saw this nail salon. I'm so grateful and pleased that I stopped in. I didn't have an appointment but they didn't make me feel like I committed the ultimate sin because of it. The ambiance is so relaxed and soothing. I was told that the wait would be 10-15 minutes. It was shorter than that. My first attendant was very careful with my feet, as I recently had a toe injury. She worked with care and when swapped with a new attendant, the service got even better. Went yesterday afternoon for the first time. Nume opened only 2 months ago. This is definitely my new salon choice. Had been going to the same nail salon down the street for many years. After my last visit I decided that was it....the staff was rude and they never smile. So, my search began for a nearby nail salon that does dip manicures. Nume was by FAR the best dip, I have ever had! Sue, the owner has such a great eye for detail. She was friendly and charming, just the type of business owner that I like to support. My nails are natural looking, strong and thin, not the thick chiclet looking dipped nails. I also opted for a " Cat- Eye" finish which is a technique that uses a magnet to achieve an amazing cat eye look... I am so happy with Sue's work. My hands have never looked better. Salon is also spa like and very cute and above all, super clean!! Recommend highly. read more

I went to NuMe nails on a whim for the first time this past week and the service/quality was seriously outstanding. Sue did an incredible job with the care, shape, and application of poly gel to my nails. I have yet to find a nail salon that took the time, care, and intention with my nails as they did.
