There was a discrepancy between their verbal quote when I made the appointment, based on the length and thickness of my hair, which is what the stylist herself actually charged for the cut, versus what they ended up charging me. Seems like they padded the stylist's price by $10. Pam was rude on the phone when I called to report the error and asked for a refund. She continually talked over me and refused to listen. I asked her politely to take a moment and listen, and she said she didn't have time. "We can't be on the phone discussing this back and forth" she said. Most places would own their mistake in favor of retaining a new client. Metamorphosis clearly doesn't care. This is a personal services organization with low emotional intelligence. I don't do business with disrespectful people, and I will not go back.

The cozy slippers were a nice touch! My massage therapist took the time to ask about my concerns (stiff shoulders and neck) and checked in throughout to make sure the pressure was right. The atmosphere was incredibly relaxing, dim lighting, peaceful music, and even a heated table. By the end, I sincerely felt so much better. I specifically asked for my bangs to be below my eyebrows and she made a rookie mistake of cutting it at my eyebrows when wet. Anyone with bangs know that once dry, it gets a bit shorter. plus she didn't cut it evenly or symmetrically. In the attached pictures, one is a picture of the bangs I showed the stylist (of the bangs I wanted), the one that looks very short is the bangs I left with right after (she styled it with a round brush and dryer), and the third one is the next day after I washed my hair and combed it down- you can see it's not even straight or symmetrical.. thankfully this will grow out in about 3-4 weeks but it's devastating with the holiday season, Christmas is in a few days and New Years next week with lots celebrations and my hair will look like I cut and messed up my own bangs. the rest of my hair was decently cut - though when looking at it, it's hard for the eyes not to go to the bangs that were so obviously messed up. I would have been understanding if they told me they gave me a junior or student stylist and I wish she would have just told me she isn't comfortable cutting bangs as it would have been better if she just left it alone.
