Just terrible. Busy mom here wanting to use an older gift certificate I haven't gotten to use. --on her birthday -- only to be told that it's too old and they can't accept it. Not even crediting the amount paid for it. Feeling completely defeated. Great way to treat a mom just trying to put herself first one day a year. read more

I love Queen's Nail. One of my favorite parts is their magnificent, instagram-worthy display of Essie nail polish colors My issue with a lot of nail salons in Deerfield and around the North Shore is that places have a very poor atmosphere. There's a lot that are dark and too busy, stuffy, etc. Thank goodness for Queen's Nail. When you walk in, it's like a breath of fresh air. Everything is brand new and bright. There's large flat screen TVs that are always muted (for peace and tranquility) but are playing something entertaining to watch while you relax. There's beautiful crystal chandeliers on the ceiling. All of the nail tech's are wearing cute matching purple aprons. The whole place is a big breath of fresh air! Everything is also clean as a whistle. When you get a pedicure, there's plastic lining the foot bowl. Every tool they use comes right out of a sanitation bag. I really couldn't ask for more: a bright and happy atmosphere, a clean and well priced mani and pedi-- oh and the nail techs are all great and total masters of their craft! This description probably sounds like I work for them or something, but--nope, I have no connection to Queen's except that it's my favorite nail place! 11/10! read more

Clean, modern, service was great and relaxing. I needed self care and this was exactly what I needed.

Have been here several times. No matter which nail tech I get, the results are always the same. Very good quality, no waiting, value for money. Gel is still going even after two full weeks. Lots of colors and services to choose from! read more

My pedicure was fine. I asked for the 2nd level $45 from $35 and was told I needed a full hour to get the extra foot massage. Yep I'm game. 45 minutes later the polish was going on and the only extra was 3 different cremes on my calf's while my feet had rocks underneath. When I was charged $35 I figured they just didn't have time to do the extra massage. Much to my surprise the manager called and said I had a $50 pedicure / voided my $35 charge and processed the $50 without my permission. Buyer beware read more

Thrilled they could take us the Thursday before king weekend during graduation season. My hubby and I both had mani/pedis. Everything was good -- water hit, massage great as well as hot wax for both hands and feet. Only negative was polish on hands only lasted 4 days before serious chipping read more

Used to come here a lot for pedicures pre-Covid and was always very pleased. Not sure if the salon is under new ownership but it has completely taken a toll for the worst. I get my no chip pedicure every 2 weeks and am very familiar with what's included and what the costs are. They did a terrible job removing calluses. I had to tell the girl to remove more and she told me to go home and use a pumice. What's the point of getting a pedicure if I have to go home to scrub my feet myself? Then when I was checking out she charged me extra for soak off. Total for no chip pedicure was $55. For that price there are much nicer places to get pedicure at. read more

I had a no chip for a week and it started to chip. I called and they said they would redo it . I went in yesterday and the woman informed me that they would just apply another coat. While I was sitting there they were rolling there eyes at each other. Very unprofessional and I will never go back. read more

I used to come here a lot before Covid. I came back today as I was in a pinch and one of my now usual places couldn't get me in. The girl who did my nails was very rude and unfriendly. She was annoyed removing my no chip snd charged me to do so. I haven't been charged for a no chip removal in years--I go between a few places, the same place doesn't always do my nails--but I'm never charged for removal. The girl who did my nails didn't help me move my stuff to a drying station snd I chipped a nail before I left. They were so uninterested in me snd my business no one said a thing to me when I was done. I just won't go here any more. There are too many places who care about your business. read more

I went here for the first (and last) time today. I got a dip manicure and a regular pedicure. I was never offered a different kind of pedicure- never offered paraffin or anything. The pedicure was very average. My dip manicure was the WORST I've EVER had. And they charge more than anywhere else I've ever been. The girl obviously didn't know what she was doing. They also only have about 10-15 colors to choose from. This is obviously not their number 1 service they offer, and in my opinion they shouldn't offer it. I luckily brought my own color so at least the color isn't the issue. She cut my nails shorter than I asked. They were also very slanted. When I pointed this out she did try to fix it but not very well. Towards the end, she used a drill when she shouldn't have. She ruined one of my nails and didn't say anything. At this point I didn't say anything because I already knew I'd be getting them redone elsewhere. When I was paying she told me I'm sorry my drill ruined one of your nails. I'll give you $5 off. I wish I got a full refund for the dip. I WILL NEVER BE BACK. Just realized on one of my hands, all my nails are rough. The other hand is all shiny and smooth. Unbelievable read more

Just had the Queen's Pedicure! Amazing and a must do! The extra time and attention to my feet was fantastic! Highly recommend!!

The first thing you will notice walking in, VERY CLEAN. This nail salon is unlike the others, it's modern, clean, and beautiful. They have nailed it with a relaxing atmosphere and great service. I was a walk-in and asked for their Signature Spa Pedicure. At first it seemed as if they were not going to be able to service me but then said they could. My nail technician seemed a little confused on what to do first as she wrapped my feet first not allowing them to soak in the water at all. It wasn't the best pedicure I've had especially for the price. However, the massage part was AMAZING. I think after a month or two of some practice I will come back. read more

This is a beautiful, clean, friendly and professional nail salon. I am a Chicago resident but work nearby this location and desperately needed my nails done. I was able to get a same day appointment, and without even knowing, I was given a first time members incentive. There is a good selection of colors, comfortable massage chairs and well thought out service. This was the only nail salon I've been to that understood why it makes sense to do my manicure first, and they didn't ask for payment until my nails were dry (thank you for that!). Without even asking, the technician helped me get my feet ready to put back into my boots. As I was drying my nails there was a sign assuring me that all nail equipment and tools were properly sanitized. Not only that, but the technician saw me loading groceries in my car as she was leaving work and offered to help so I wouldn't chip my nails! This is superb service and I would definitely recommend others to go. I know I will be a frequent member. Keep up the great work! read more

My friend recommended this place, so I went there on a Sunday afternoon. The atmosphere is so relaxing and I loved the massage chair! They helped me to find a fun color for no chip and perfectly matched with my pedi. They were all helpful and extremely friendly. They have TONS of nail polish/no chip choices, which is a huge plus!! Definitely will be coming back here!! read more

Beautiful and super efficient, what more do you need!! I will definitely be back many times.

Oh my God I have never ever paid for a $35 pedicure before and I wish I had asked before because I would have never gotten a pedicure here. It was Rush not relaxing if I'm paying $35 I want the works done. This is the Asian pedicure place not a high-end salon nail place it should not be $35. All the other places I've ever been have always been about 25 to $28 for a pedicure. They think they can charge $35 I guess it's between that is a cute salon and it's in Northbrook. I guess I should have known better. But that was barely a massage she'd didnt even work my calluses!! I also asked her to cut my big toenails shorter and she didn't so I told her give me nail clippers so I can cut them shorter I'm sorry I paid $35 to cut my own nails... read more

I was there TWO days ago and received a dip manicure. It was clear that it was this technicians first attempt, or one of her first. For the base, she put it on all nails instead of one at a time and discovered this when trying to dio my nail for the base. She removed it from one nail and repainted it for the remaining. THEN my nails were not filed evenly and she never asked me what shape I wanted. THEN she bumped and messed up in two spots that she never re did, instead tried to cover it up. You can still see those spots now that it is finished. LASTLY my nail chipped two days later. It is a dip manicure. THEY ARENT SUPPOSED TO CHIP FOR A COUPLE OF WEEKS. Worse 50$ spent. read more

Love this salon. Have been getting my nails done by Ruth for years. Would follow her anywhere.

this review is long overdue! I can honestly say that after living in the area for 2 years I have found the best nail salon around. Since moving up here from the city, I probably bounced around 5+ salons in the HP/DF area and was never truly happy until I found Queens about 6 months ago. Everyone in here is kind, polite and so friendly (and funny too!). I actually enjoy going for manis and pedis again because the experience here is so wonderful. They also have a great color selection and its absolutely beautiful and the cleanest around. Love this place and everyone that works here! read more

I would have given 5 stars if it was not so expensive! They did great work and my no-chip is lasting. The pedicure was nothing special for what they charge. I would return if it was not so pricey. read more

This salon used to be good, but it's gone downhill in terms of service and quality. I waited over 30 minutes for my scheduled appointment. The salon was clearly understaffed. One of my nails started peeling (dip manicure) two days later. read more

Wow. This is absolutely the nicest nail salon I've ever been to. It is by far the cleanest, most up to date for sure. Even the bathroom was completely spotless. I came in last minute at the end of the day and they still accommodated me, and the woman who gave me a pedicure didn't cut corners or rush even though it was late. I highly recommend this place to anyone! They also have the fanciest tools and much of their equipment is one use only. They have lots of chairs and everything is all brand new and the nicest available. The cost was the same as other places, even a little less than places in the area. I will be coming back here for sure, it is well worth the drive. read more

I have never given a negative review before but I will not be going back to this place. Way too expensive for the service provided. I had mani pedi and although the Manicure was fine the pedicure was lacking. The technician barely spent any time removing callouses and then forgot to add top coat to my toes. When I went back in to have them fix and she told me there was a top coat and I shouldn't have put oil on my toes and wrapped them which is what my technician did not me. They did however fix the problem but instead of apologizing they made it seem like I was in the wrong. Will not go back read more

A friend recommended me to this place. I can honestly say this was the best experience I had at a nail salon. The interior was stunning each technician was polite and knew what they where doing. The worst. Both my daughter and I went here for pedicures together. We both had the same impression: Completely unimpressive. The technicians were surly and rude, gave a half-hearted, amateur pedicure that was little more than a polish change. I would NEVER recommend this place. read more

my color did not turn out the way it was supposed to. i compared the sample color on display with my finished nails trying to show her that they were two different colors and she would not listen. i also told them i wanted acrylic fill on the phone and she said okay, i walk in and she tells me they don't do acrylic. okay?? i end up tipping a low amount because of my disappointment and she tells me "ITS THE LAW TO TIP MORE THAN THAT." excuse me??? there is no law about tipping! disgusted with this place. read more
