I tried this place spur of the moment when my regular salon was not available. I called ahead and…read morethey were able to fit me in within the next 15 minutes for no chip manicure. Score. Entrance: The first impression was very positive. As it was super cold outside, I appreciated that they have a double entrance, conserving the warmth inside. I checked in at the front desk and chose my color (they have a nice selection). The manicurist took my coat and hung it for me, which was a nice touch. Procedure: The mani itself was good and fairly standard, except the paraffin dip, which again was a nice added feature considering the cold winter destroying my hands like crazy. Included massage: The hand massage and shoulder massage lasted longer than at any salon that I have tried before. And it was great as well. Price: I believe the prices compare well with the salons in the area, but I am not absolutely positive. If the prices at this salon are higher, I don't think it is by much. In the days after: The result was of good quality and lasted long time, the polish did not chip and it did not lift at the edges. Cell phone policy: they have polite signs posted asking customers not to use cell phones while in the salon. Payment: they take credit cards and you can add the tip to the card as well.

Very well run. And I picked the wrong color and they redid with no stress. Nice space and sereneread more

A friend of mine texted and asked if I wanted to join her for a pedicure on a Saturday afternoon…read more The answer to that question is always yes, so she gave me the name of Spa Dabin and I called to schedule an appointment at the same time as hers. Tucked away in a small strip mall, I'd never seen or heard of Spa Dabin before, but I'm so glad my friend knew of it! She used to frequent their location in Old Town before moving to the suburbs. This location is a bit on the smaller side and the layout felt a little peculiar. We were greeted warmly and given our choice of aromatherapy options for the pedicure. They had a great selection of colors in all of the standard brands. The pedicure itself was great - very relaxing and the woman who did mine went above and beyond to remove some calluses. The pedicure seats are across from a tv but if the volume was on at all, it wasn't noticeable. We were easily able to hold a conversation. When we moved to the dryers, we each got a quick but very nice neck and shoulder massage. Pricing was comparable to other nail salons in the area, and I appreciated being able to tip right from Venmo.

I have to say this ladies are to be praised not only for their work of art. But more importantly for their kindness and dedication, empathy. Everything they give you is with a smile. She's a wonderful soul full of smiles that was being carried with so much loving care by her Dad. I think that this place should be our home away from home for all of us that need a moment of detent and peace. Never a loud noise. My 18 year old son is a big fun and my husband too !!!

I'm hesitant to give an overly low review because I went to this salon for a few months and had…read moregood results. Two out of three techs that did my nails were very lovely and detailed with their work. While I never brought any kids with me, they often had children come in and the techs were very patient and sweet with them. I feel obligated to report that I did get an infection on my nail cuticle shortly after a manicure here. I've been getting gel manicures for over a decade now and have never had an issue. I noticed the barbicide that the tools were being pulled from had an unsettling amount of other people's skin sediment in it. Am I a nail tech? No. Therefore, I'm not an expert at nail salon sanitation procedures. However, I've since been diagnosed with paronychia and it's taken over a month to heal. Everyone's skin and subsequent reactions are different. Coincidences are possible, but I felt the need to be honest--as reports of infection are pretty much the primary thing that I look for when choosing my nail salon. I'm hoping that this was a one time mistake and this review can be used for improvements going forward. This review was written with the intention of being fair and honest, I wish nothing but the best for the staff and hope their business continues to do well.
