The staff are super friendly and nice, their equipment is updated and clean, and their colors are new and trendy. I came here after searching for the best acrylic nails, and this salon does not disappoint. When I showed her my inspiration picture, she knew exactly what to do and hit it right on the head! The acrylic lasted for a long time with proper care, and stayed even as my nail grew. I went to college in california and came back, and this place is still better than all the places I went to in california, and here in illinois. They do a great job with nails and always gives appointments last minute ... but often talks and laughs behind customer's back in their native language which is super rude and not professional .. I have been going to Heavenly Nails for the past eight and a half years. Once I went the first time, I've never gotten my nails done anywhere else. They are extremely welcoming to their clients and know all of the regulars by name. The facility is extremely clean, and there is a large selection of polish choices. Parking is never an issue. Today, Amy did a full set of acrylic nails for me. I asked her to choose a fun Valentine's Day/ birthday color for me, and she did a fantastic job! I normally do not get my nails done but when my daughter asked me to go with her so that this could be our "thing" together, I gave in. We went to a different salon a couple of months ago and I was not satisfied with the over all service and end product. About almost a month after, my daughter then looked for another nail salon closer to us and one that is open late so I could make it on time. We could not have been happier with our decision to try this place. I have been here a couple of times now, one on a Tuesday night and the last one was a Saturday afternoon. The place is always busy, specially this past weekend but this did not affect how efficient and welcoming all the staff was. Michael did our nails for both times we've been here. I asked for a pink chrome and this is what my girl Amy gave me. They are so gorgeous, she took such good care of my nails and worked so delicately. Heavenly is great. When I come in, I always get a dip manicure. Long and Michael are the BEST for those. It's always busy in there, so I'd recommend making an appointment rather than walking in. Typical busy nail salon vibe. They try to squeeze people in between other clients sometimes which usually puts them behind. read more

Michael is awesome. My first experience with getting a Dip manicure was a June 20th at a salon in Chicago and after 6 days, I accidentally hit a nail against an open drawer and half of the Dip manicure on it cracked off. While I got a pedicure, he kindly took care of the nail free of charge, welcoming me to come back when I needed my next Dip manicure--which was actually within days when the whole Dip enamel fell off 4 other nails. (And I respect that he politely did not engage in criticizing the prior manicurist's skill level despite my asking about it plenty.) Instead, Michael just did a really excellent job. I've officially converted to getting Dip manicures instead of no-chip, particularly at this place, whose nail artists seem to be on first-name bases with their clientele and maintain an inviting atmosphere. I've been three times now and my nails are the type to break as far as halfway down the nailbed when they grow out at all with no-chip. Plus, around 14 days, they usually chip. Now chipping hasn't happened at all, and I even stretched the first one to 3 weeks--until the growth was excessive at the base. Michael has been very careful about not filing into the nail itself; they look healthy after removing the Dip, between manicures. I've never had my nails grow so long, esp without breakage or thinning, and they don't look or feel thick at all. Overall, I've been so happy with this place and my nails this summer that I took the time to write this quite lengthy review... and honestly can't remember the last time I've written one at all. read more

Nice place. Regular pedicure is $27 but they have add on options. I went with the $40 one with scrubs, paraffin wax, and a longer massage. I had an older lady who was super nice and very gentle with the scrubby thing but thorough. She did a good job. They have a wide variety of colors and brands. They also offer you a small bottle of water. Great massage chairs. I didn't want to get out of mine. If you have time, have breakfast or lunch at Walker Brothers Pancake House next door. read more

I feel so bad leaving one star however I'm so beyond disappointed in their services. The owners were extremely nice and welcoming which goes a long way. However, I'm a mom and when I find someone to watch my baby to come get my nails done.. I expect them to last. Especially when I'm paying $45 for a dip manicure. Dip manicures from Rockstar or Nail Art Studio always always last me 3-4 weeks. After I left the manicure ( no lotion or hand massage), the dip completely chipped. I was very frustrated because I don't have someone to watch my child so I can go to the nail salon every day. My husband watched my baby and I went back. They fixed it and made a joke that my baby must have bit it. I left and the next day both thumbs cracked. This is so beyond disappointing and I would never return. read more

First time visit to this nail salon. I was a walk-in and they were very accommodating. I had Jenny who was a doll. So pleasant, was greeted upon entering salon and offered something to drink as well. I can see this is a regular hot spot for the neighborhood crowd. Husband and wife owners also extremely pleasant & sociable. Went here for a no chip manicure and I thought Jenny did a great job. $35 for my manicure. Just a heads up they do have a tendency to to use a tool to sometimes remove your old no chip. If that's something you're concerned About for the overall health of the nail be sure to let them know. I was in and out in less than an hour which was great. Parking lot can be tight around the lunch hour. But overall a great first time experience. read more

I'm really not sure what happened over the past year since my last visit, but Heavenly Nails & Spa has become a hot mess. It WAS my favorite salon, but customer care and quality of work has tremendously gone downhill. My mom and I each got mani/pedi before my wedding, and we had 3 different people hopscotching and working on us with long lags in between. I will say Michael did a nice job on my mom's pedi. However, the lady who did my no-chip mani stood beside me while I was at the pedi station, and it was super awkward and uncomfortable. Who does that?! Not only did she slather ~5 super thick coats of lacquer on, she filed several of my nails slanted since she wasn't facing me. The woman who did my pedi was not any better. To top it off, staff knew I was getting married, and they still sucked. As soon as we paid, the woman noticeably looked for the tip and then they all scurried to the back for lunch. What a freaking joke. On top of that, the job was done so terribly I had to go to Rock Star Nails nearby and have it redone. They were equally astonished inspecting the poor job. What a waste of time and money. You guys lost a loyal customer. NEVER coming here again! read more

Got exactly the opposite of what i asked for. Everyone told me my nails looked horrific so i went to get a refund. They told me i can't get a refund because I painted over the horrendous nails.
