Came to The Works for the Tequila Festival and with our food tickets I was able to sample the Gauva Agua Fresca which was delicious and their Cuban sandwich. The Cuban sandwich was pretty good, it came with a type of sauce I wasn't sure what it was but it was tasty. The service was nice, I was able to meet the owner she was very friendly.

I went to the Chattahoochee Food works to grab a Philly and ended up grabbing both. I decided to try this place because I'm always up for a good Cuban sandwich and I really love sweet plantains. Service is above average for ordering at a counter and waiting. The individuals behind the counter we nice. The location is a food hall, so think large industrial building fitted to have multiple small kitchens in it with lots of seating and places to grab a drink. Overall the Cuban sandwich was a little over average, but not amazing, at least not compared to a Philly. The Mojo sauce served with this sandwich really helps bring out the flavor, but without it, it's kind of bland on it's own. As for the Sweet plantain, they are about as common as can be. You really can't mess them up. Sweet and tasty as always. I like to put some salt on them. Overall, I would rate this about a 3.5 if you're grabbing a Cuban. They do have Mofongo which seems to be their specialty here. I will try that next time and report back when I get a chance.

Loved loved loved the Rice and Bean bowl with churrasco, The steak had vegetables, which I don't eat, so the waiter gave me a dessert which also was DELICIOUS. They were very attentive and made sure we were pleased with the food. The vibe made me feel as if I was back home in Puerto Rico with nice and social people.

Food was amazing, so was the service. Will return every time I fly through Atlanta. Found it randomly and happy with my choice.

Went with codfish fritters as an appetizer this time, and they were so good, not over fried, yummy, and filled with fresh ingredients. And the sweet/spicy ish dip is a nice addition! Now, I judge every Caribbean/Jamaican spot by its curry goat, and theirs was really good. Taste was the highlight but the goat meat was too bony (less mutton-like) so was hard to enjoy overall. Pro tip Mac n cheese pairs perfectly with curry anything, thank me later! Had one of the best ginger pineapple juices, and will add rum next time because why not. Regardless, Negril ATL still remains a staple as a fellow Jamaican. A must visit whenever in the city, it truly reminds me of home .

One of the spots in Ponce City Market that I've been sleeping on. The customer service was top tier. Everyone was super patient and knowledgeable of the menu! The guava and cheese pastry.... Wow! It was flavorful, well-textured, and paired perfectly with the creamy orange sauce, which was absolutely delicious. I'd honestly come back just for the mofongo and sauce. The tofu, however, was a bit of a letdown. It was crispy on the outside, but much too salty for my taste, which overpowered the rest of the dish. At $20, I'm on the fence about whether it's a great value. It's not cheap, but the quality of the mofongo almost makes up for it. Would I order it again? Absolutely, but mainly for the mofongo. Next time I'd probably ask if the tofu can be made with less salt or try a different protein.

It is a small lot and I wasn't sure where to park but it did look safe. You have to drive down a hill to get to the parking lot. The inside of the place is decorate to the max. There are vines and party decorations all over the place. I love the murals. Chairs are some what awkward. I came for the Wednesday special. I had the steak fajitas $13 and mojito $5. They gave me a free small app that was filled with cheese. The chips are dark blue and the 3 salsas they give you are great. The steak was chewy but good. Beans were a miss. Mojito was tasty. There was something for everyone, and the food was fresh and flavorful. The atmosphere was one of the highlights. The music, energy, and overall vibe made it feel like more than just brunch--it felt like an event. The drinks were also excellent: strong, well-made, and fun. What really stood out was the service. From the moment we walked in, Papi and the staff were incredibly welcoming and made us feel right at home. The restaurant has recently been renovated, and the updated space looks fantastic.
