The staff is friendly and vivacious just like the stall's decor, and the menu is completely aligned with the cuisine. Lots of rum on the drink list! I've been many times and struggle to switch up my dishes because my favorites are just so tasty. For entrees, I like the Ropa Vieja with Mofongo. For starters, I swear by the Bacalaitos. Came to The Works for the Tequila Festival and with our food tickets I was able to sample the Gauva Agua Fresca which was delicious and their Cuban sandwich. I went to the Chattahoochee Food works to grab a Philly and ended up grabbing both. I decided to try this place because I'm always up for a good Cuban sandwich and I really love sweet plantains. Service is above average for ordering at a counter and waiting. The individuals behind the counter we nice. The location is a food hall, so think large industrial building fitted to have multiple small kitchens in it with lots of seating and places to grab a drink. Overall the Cuban sandwich was a little over average, but not amazing, at least not compared to a Philly. The Mojo sauce served with this sandwich really helps bring out the flavor, but without it, it's kind of bland on it's own. As for the Sweet plantain, they are about as common as can be. You really can't mess them up. Sweet and tasty as always. I like to put some salt on them. Overall, I would rate this about a 3.5 if you're grabbing a Cuban. They do have Mofongo which seems to be their specialty here. I will try that next time and report back when I get a chance. read more

Another great option in Chattahoochee Food works. Cuban/puerta rican themed. It looks like the mains are a rice and beans bowl or a mofongo bowl. I got the rice bowl with roasted pork. The pork comes sliced with a vibrant green sauce. It's well marbled so some pieces are fattier than others but it adds great flavor. The black beans were good as well, just wish they gave me just two more plantains. Also got an order of pork belly chicharones. Food was incredible! The mofongo is actually prepared mashed by hand! Many places just toss the plantains or cassava in a blender and then mush it together?
