I wish I knew about this place earlier! Pollo Primo has delicious chicken plates for an incredible prices. For about $20, we got a half bird that came with rice, beans, tortillas, and salsas/pico de gallo that was enough food to feed two people while still having some leftovers too. The chicken is very tasty and it makes for a delicious meal. The tortillas are more on the chewy side though. We also got the guac which is $9 but it is MASSIVE and delicious and comes with chips too. The chips are more of a multi-grain tortilla chip so they're a little heartier and crisp. This place can get packed really quickly. Takeout can take over an hour but we went in person. There was limited parking but still seats available outside. The food was ready really fast - within about 10 minutes of ordering. I think we got lucky with our timing because I've heard it can take a while since it's typically very crowded.

Big fan but biggest let down today Salsa sub tastes very different, way salty, and the chicken seems like it's using coarse salt now, so the recipe feels changed. The esquite corn also looked pale/different, maybe a new brand or because it's no longer mixed or fried with salsa. Service ok, It was better before, girl was a like upstairs, not as previous girls. Ambiance is good enough to talk.

Honestly didn't think this place lived up to the hype. We order a quarter chicken meal with breast meat, chips and guac, and their special beef soup of the day. Based on other reviews, I figured everything would be pretty bland or lack salt. Boy was I wrong. Everything was WAY too salty, even the rice and beans somehow. The chicken was a bit dry and wasn't as flavorful as it looked. We were overall left disappointed and wouldn't go back. There is very minimal seating inside so I would plan on taking the food to go unless it's nice out, they have a patio on the front.

For all the people who wants some authentic Mexican food... this is the place. Exceptional service and great service. The restaurant is very clean and staff is polite and professional.

Wish every restaurant could be like Pollo Primo! Not only was the service quick and friendly, but the food was delicious too! Highly recommend ordering a side of guac to eat with your chicken - some of the best restaurant guac I've had. The covered outdoor patio was lovely for a Spring day, with plenty of barstool seating for smaller groups. 5/5 recommend!

I had a feeling the food was going to be good when we walked in. The parking lot was pretty full, there were customers dining both inside and outside. There was also a steady flow of customers picking up orders inside and at the drive up window. The restaurant itself is clean, and the staff is efficient. We ordered the Whole Bird Combo to go. It came with rice, beans, tortillas, chips, guacamole, and salsa. Our family absolutely loved it. The chicken had a delicious seasoning on it, and it was super moist. The sides were also good. Especially the beans and tortillas. Yum! Great food at a great price. We fed our family for around $35 and everything was delicious. Highly recommend.

Pollo primo is just consistently good. The service, the ambience-- can't go wrong with this Atlanta staple! The chicken is a 10/10 and so are the rice and beans. The elote is a skip for me, but otherwise everything on the menu is amazing. Worth the try!

I've seen Pollo Primo touted over social media for some time now which had me really excited to try this as I'm a big fan of any type of slow roasted chicken...I mean who isn't, right? I was in luck as I got here in time to try their lunch special which I believe was a 1/4 chicken, rice, beans, chips, salsa, and a drink (horchata). The chicken looked magnificent, but to my surprise, I felt it lacked not only flavor, but salt. I actually felt that way about everything I ordered. I was a bit surprised and confused at how that could be considering the color of the chicken. I'm willing to try this place again though!

I was worried this was not going to live up to the hype, but it 100% did. The service was great, took less time than I thought it would, and was just a cool spot to hang out with friends while we ate. We got a whole bird to split between four people, along with a side of chips and esquites. I made tacos out of my quarter thigh/leg, and added rice, beans, pico, and the various salsas on each bite. Everything was phenomenal. Only thing I would do different next time is get more beans, and possibly a side of guac, which looked crazy expensive, but might have been a nice bright touch.

This place is settled on bustling Moreland Avenue near 20E in Atlanta. There is some parking on the lot but not much if it's packed. It's decorated really cute inside and you walk right up to place your order. Theres indoor and patio seating as well. The service was good when I went, which was only once. Now the food...cooked to perfection! I mean cooked perfectly it looked absolutely amazing but the flavor was missing for me. This chicken quarter was cooked so beautifully that I ate it jist because of that, but was disappointed that there just wasn't any flavor. I felt tricked. The sides of beans and rice were just ok. I usually never say this about any place but it just wasn't hitting! If that chicken had more seasoning then they would've hit the mark, but unfortunately it didn't do it for me. And I don't need a lot of seasoning, but this was definitely under seasoned. I wouldnt go back simply because it was too expensive to be lacking flavor. If you must, go and try for yourself, but I've forewarned you!

Very nice restaurant! It reminds me of Pollo Tropical, which we no longer have in Atlanta. The atmosphere is authentically comfortable, the service was superb, and the prices are very reasonable. I especially love that it's located in Atlanta proper. The chicken was delicious and seasoned perfectly. I'll definitely be back!

10/10 would recommend! this has been on my list of places to try and im so glad i finally came! normally i prefer sitting indoors, which they did have as an option, but i honestly loved their outdoor seating area. it is partially covered so there is also some shade for when it gets hot and sunny out. the service was fast and their staff was very friendly. i ordered the 1/4 bird dark meat meal and the chicken was juicy and well seasoned. not pictured, but i also ordered a side of guacamole and it was fantastic - and i am VERY picky about my guac. not to mention all the prices felt very reasonable. will definitely be coming back!

Let's start there: it's good-looking on the outside, and when you come in, it's just very nicely decorated, so definitely great job. Everyone is super welcoming when you come in. They're happy to see you, which I definitely enjoyed. When I sat down to order, there were so many things on the menu that I was like, "Yeah, I need to try this," so I ended up ordering a lot of food, but it's okay, you can judge me. I got: - The shrimp appetizer: it was like this grilled shrimp in this amazing sauce with this crispy bread. Oh no, it was so good, so well-flavored, and perfectly cooked. Definitely would go back for that. - The guacamole, which was good. It came with the big tortilla chips instead of little cut tortilla chips, and that was delicious. - The eggplant. Now, I was not prepared for this eggplant to taste like this, but it was really good. The sauce, I don't know what kind of sauce that was, but it was amazing. It was just an unexpected, delightful kind of dish. - The salad, the Little Gem Salad. That one was my least favorite part of the meal. It was just kind of uneventful, and I think I would have preferred the chickpeas to not be crispy. I feel like he was missing something, like he needed some avocado, and the dressing wasn't blended super well, so it didn't really mix really well. Anyway, the flavor was there, but I just feel like the salad was my least favorite part of the meal. Everything else was really good, and I would definitely come back here.

Nice upscale ambiance inside and they also have outdoor seating. The bartenders were very nice and checked on us just the right amount. Food was good. Loved the beef empanadas!! Yuca croquettes were perfectly cooked, brussel sprouts were alright, chicken tacos were fine. Their frozen sangria margaritas are amazingggg and strong. Overall: decent spot for happy hour/dinner, decent food but weirdly empty around dinner time on the weekdays.

I hope I get the parking situation right but she directed me to a lot, that you pay via either an app or website. She took care of it so I'm not sure. Just be sure to pay because she mentioned that enforcement is serious out there. Walk down to the beltline and you should be able to find it. If not, GPS it. There's indoor and outdoor seating. Tables and seating at the bar. We chose a table opposite the bar and had a great tapas dinner. Picanha a la Parrilla Pulpo a la Gallega Tomate Fresco Patatas Bravas Tuna Crudo Bruselas Enjoyed the tapas. I didn't list them in any particular order but I will say I liked the Tomate the least. The rest, I'd order again or eat on a return visit and if the table ordered it. I'd pass on the Tomate. I guess I was looking for stronger seasoning or more flavor. Service was hit and miss. Friendly and nice but either was intentionally leaving us alone to talk because he did swing by a few times before we placed our order - because we were catching up. A few times I had to ask other servers for help, including asking to close out the tab when it was time to head out. There were other items on the menu I would have loved to try if I had more room so it'll have to be on my next visit. I know there are a few locations in the Atlanta area but I did like the the feel and vibe of the beltline area too - enough to go right back.

A dope ambiance and a dope vibe! The place looks just like most other Eclipse facilities so just…read morekeep that in mind. This one is new and it's off the belt line and it's in a really good spot though. That's the selling point of it all. As you know if you're coming on the Beltline, you gotta worry about parking so you can kinda get it how you like it. There are plenty of spots to go to if you want to go ahead and do a lot or find some neighborhood parking . With this new Eclipse you can sit inside and check out the views or you can sit outside and just sit under the fans and people-watch. That could probably be the best option just because you're right on the belt line so you get a good view of everything but if it's too hot then that's going to be an issue lol . We just went for drinks just to stop off before we went elsewhere along the Beltline because everything is very walkable. It's easy to go ahead and duck in and off of the Beltline so this will be a good spot but I've been to eclipse plenty of times elsewhere and I know that the food is solid no matter what you're doing. I can't say that I would go back there to eat because I've already eaten there and I know what I like and I know what to expect but if you haven't been the food is actually really good. I started off with a spicy margarita. It got me where I needed to be. That's the important part LOL. Service was really good. It was really crowded when we went and we were just trying to catch a vibe before we started off the Beltline. They made a space for us at the sitting area, right where the door was, so we can actually be indoors and still see outdoors. That was really nice of them. Service was great. Can't complain about that. This looks like a smaller one but at the same time it's still built into the belt line so it actually wins because of location. Other ones have larger dance floors that you can dance at, I guess, so it's a different story. This one still has its own charm. Overall it is what you expect from an eclipse so it's not like I'm telling you anything that you don't know because I'm assuming you've been to at least one of them before. This one is the newest one and it is in a perfect area so if you are ducking in and off of the belt line, this would be a good spot to go ahead and grab some papas bravas and a margarita.
