Exceptional!! To me, that's the best word to describe this restaurant. I have had Peruvian cuisine before, in Atlanta and Miami. This was my absolute favorite! The flavor was bold, the plating was beautiful, the serving sizes were generous, and the menu had a lot of variety from traditional Peruvian dishes to Peruvian cultural blends. I wish I took more photos of our dishes because I enjoy everything. We had the ceviche mixto, cucumber & beet salad, fettuccine mar y Tierra, and Arroz Con Mariscos (Peruvian paella). Our service was also outstanding. Odalis took care of us for dinner that day, and she was so patient and great at explaining the menu and dishes, she even introduced us to a dessert I would not have tried otherwise. It was so delicious! I can't remember the name of it, but it included salted caramel gelato with fresh fruit, dehydrated apple slices, and something like a crunchy sugar cookie on top that was shaped like a flower. The chef and manager also checked on us a couple of times, and they were both very nice and explained other dishes on the menu. You could tell they were very passionate about the quality of the food and guest experience! We look forward to enjoying Casa Coya again! read more

Casa Coya did not disappoint! I ordered the Lomo Saltado, and as someone who has tried this dish at many Peruvian restaurants, I can honestly say this one was excellent. The beef was tender, the flavors were authentic, and everything was cooked perfectly. The portions are very generous,you could easily share one Lomo Saltado and order another side dish. This is my new favorite spot. I'm hoping this last longer than the last restaurant. I Oder the Parmesan chicken dish and it was delicious and a glass of red wine. The meal was delicious and the wine hit just right. I came for lunch during the World Cup and and they had the game on, that was convenient for me since I'm a huge soccer fan. The atmosphere is great, right across from AMC theater, so you can take in a movie and stop by for a snack. Casa coya is my new favorite spot like I said earlier. Service was good, parking is great, meal was tasty and atmosphere is fantastic. Highly recommended. read more

First time checking out this new spot. First off I was surprised it was nicer and more expensive than expected from the area and outside. Ok ambiance and vibe was super cute- it was late lunch and the inside was super dark so we sat in the warmer and lighter indoor patio area which is super cute. Liked the vibe and decor - def wouldn't want to sit inside though on an a nice afternoon - so so dark - def a nighttime feel. Food was pretty good. Ceviche was tasty and a decent portion. And the picante steak was amazing and very decently priced. A bit fail for us was the actual filet - the first one came out well done- we asked and the waitress confirmed - med rare. This leads me into the biggest issue - service was really spotty - we had a few people checking up and introducing themselves - wasn't sure who to actually ask for help. One or two of them def didn't seem understand us very well. Finally another guy came over and grabbed the manger who apologized and said eventually brought another steak -- it was also at least med - med well. We sucked it up and just ate it at that point all the other dishes were finished already. For the price point we would need them to have more on point service and def get an expensive steak correctly cooked. The flavor profile of many dishes were very good otherwise so we would give this another try for sure to see how it goes. read more

I haven't been so impressed by a new restaurant in awhile, so this place took me by surprise! I came here with some friends, and we all shared guacamole, yucas a la huancaina, and ceviche mixto coya. We practically inhaled the yucas and ceviche dishes. I was especially blown away by the ceviche because it was comparable to one of the best I've ever had which was in Peru. It could still use a touch more of citrus, but man was it delicious. For my entree, I ordered the chaufa marino, which was insanely delicious and well seasoned. The seafood was perfectly cooked as well. I also had a taste of the paella and loco saltado. The rice of the paella was one of the most flavorful I've ever tasted, and the lomo saltado was so tender and juicy. I honestly couldn't tell you what my favorite was between those 3. Also, I want to shout it the chef for coming out to greet everyone since this is a new restaurant. I truly applaud him for the dedication and care he puts in putting the food together. The ceviche was very good. To my liking, I always say, order ceviche if you like lime, you'll gonna love it, if not, you may not. Mar y Tierra Fettucine, the steak was cooked perfectly, good little ribeye, the shrimp was seasoned so delicious and the pasta had a really nice flavor. I highly recommend this place. We love Peruvian food! So it was a no brainer that we had to try this restaurant when we saw it on OpenTable. Reservations were easily available. The hostess was so kind and honored our OpenTable request to sit at a booth without me having to ask! Our waiter, Jorge was amazing and so pleasant! We started with 2 fresh juices - mango and guava. They were both so refreshing! The guacamole was so well flavored and came with freshly cooked tostadas. The Hamachi ceviche was delicious and so fresh! I visited Casa Coya for brunch on a Saturday. When we arrived, the place was empty, which was actually really nice as we had the restaurant to ourselves. The decor was nice. Our waitress mentioned they opened in January and it tends to get busier in the evenings. While we were there, a few more people did start to come in. We started with the yuca a la huancaína. The presentation was beautiful, but it was cut into about six small pieces and felt very limited in portion size. We also ordered the pan con chicharrón from the brunch menu. Again, nicely presented, but the pork was very fatty, and the sauce was already added to the sandwich, which took away from the fresh flavor of the salsa criolla (the onion salad that's usually a highlight of the dish). Of course, we had to try the classic ceviche. It also looked great, but like the other dishes, the portion was very small. We asked for it mild, and requested rocoto (a spicy red pepper) on the side to add heat and was surprised to be charged extra for it. Overall, as someone who loves Peruvian food, this one missed the mark for me. The dishes were visually appealing, but not enough food for what you get. One highlight was the pisco sour, it was really good and probably my favorite part of the meal. read more

My waitress Kamely was very sweet. It was empty when I arrived, but the decor and the ambience is beautiful. I ordered the picahna appetizer and the lomo saltado for the entrée and both were good. A little dash of salt would've enhanced it tremendously, but we couldn't get the salt shaker to work. The mango Mojito was strong, shout out to the bartender. I spent a whopping $2000 on alcohol, and I didn't feel a thing when I left. If you're looking for a place to enjoy delicious food and have a great time, this is it! But if you think you'll enjoy some good drinks alongside your meal, think twice. The drinks are just not up to par; it's hard to believe. I could drop $200 on drinks and still feel nothing. The traditional English muffin was removed and replaced with beans and rice. The seasoning was great and the dish was filling. Also ordered a steak and eggs which came with a chimichurri. Both dishes were great, the ceviche hit the spot. We saw other dishes we want to try that were on the normal menu so I expect a return visit. Visited this restaurant on Valentines Day with my boyfriend and had an amazing time. The atmosphere was really romantic, although the music was a bit louder than my preference. Our server was extremely nice, and very accommodating. The menu is very limited but we were able to find items that sounded amazing without any substitutions.
