    Dominican culture.

Good food, and great service. There's something different every day. Love this place.

Stewed chicken with yellow rice, salad, and pinto beans along with Sancocho stew with white rice. All this $23

Small restaurant on Buford Hwy. I went to get lunch carry out and ordered off the buffet. They have plenty of chicken and other meat options as well as Dominican soup called Sancocho that is served on Saturdays only. The restaurant is very clean and give gracious portions. The food is so flavorful and inexpensive.

Amazing dominican food. Came around lunch time after reading some reviews and opted for the lunch special as it was my first time trying Dominican food. It's a very casual laid back spot and the lunch special is served on a buffet line where you can choose from your entree and sides. 1 opted for the stewed chicken with rice and side salad. The portions were plentiful and everything was beyond flavorful. Staff were super friendly and greeted me as soon as I walked in and thanked me for visiting. Can't wait to go back and try some other menu items

We enjoyed our lunch here, we got the pastelitos de res, tilapia frita, and pechuga rellena as well as the mango juice. The service was kind and answered our questions. My favorite thing we ordered was the pastelitos they were delicious! As for the tilapia it was pretty good but did not blow our socks off, and I liked the chicken but the cream sauce was a little heavy and rich for me, overpowering the dish. Overall though we left feeling satisfied and would come again.

While driving through town, we NEEDED some type of Spanish food. And this gave EXACTLY what we needed. Both plates were extremely flavorful and portions are HUGE! They do also have a hot bar to pick from as well. Not a typical "restaurant vibe", but big enough to enjoy your food peacefully. We'd definitely be back should we come back to this side of town.

My favoriteeeeee food place! Authentic Dominican food! It reminds me of being back home in NY! I highly recommend if you enjoy Spanish food to come here & have lunch! Amazing! Every single time! They have a buffet hot & ready for you everyday. However, i sit down & get something from their menu. Service is always great & they're friendly. It is a mom & pop place so it gives you a home feel almost like somewhere in the Dominican Republic. I LOVE their food each & every time i go. Spanish ambiance & vibe for sure. 100% recommend! I do wish they would bring back their tres leche cake!! It was absolutely amazing!!! I would get a few slices everytime! I didn't take a photo of my snapper fish but i do get that with garlic sauce & sometimes plain .. 10/10!!!

One thing about Buford hwy.... You want authentic food...Buford's Got It! This place SCREAMS AUTHENTIC! It's not so much the atmosphere...it's the customer service!! Match that will flavorful, savory food...they are a winner in my book! You get to see the food! Buffet style...yet closed to the public. You choose..they serve. I love that! All the meat looks delicious as hell! It's hard to choose. I went with the chicken served with rice@ peas & a salad. My man decided on the ribs. We shared. Both dishes were delicious. For our drinks we ordered passion fruit juice. Best of all...the prices! Very reasonable ya'll. You want authentic Dominican food...COME HERE! You'll thank me later.

I've come twice already with my family and really love it. It can get busy so service can be a little slow but nothing bad. We get the medium size plate of picada I think that's what it's called and it's the perfect amount for my husband my 5 year old and me. Definitely recommend this place. Authentic Dominican food.

Gave this restaurant a one time try with my son and NEVER AGAIN!!! First issue....Dominican…read morerestaurant but most of the food is Puerto Rican. How do I know, was married to a PR for years. Nothing wrong with a Dominican place cooking PR food but just make sure that its executed well. My son ordered baccalaito and was shocked by the presentation....it was inside a red sauce. Well this dish is normally made with fried cod fish fritters. I ordered alcapurria....0 flavor in the beef, had a weired rectangle shape and it was darkly burned. Which let us know that this restaurant owner doesnt care about the food quality. Thank god that I only ordered the alcapurria and not a full plate. Wont be returning!

Which were all denied out of being told they weren't offering any of those (sandwiches, salads) due to being too busy. Then were blindly charging an amount that does not match their online pricing. Even if they are not affiliated with DoorDash anymore for example, they should make sure it is completely removed and have an updated menu created if needed. If their prices have went up, it is at a restaurant rate when they are not a restaurant. When called out on this, the pricing was matched closer to what I manually tallied. I heard ownership has changed, making me question if that's why this experience took place vs very different experiences in the past. At that point, I used to constantly order lunch from here and do large catering orders for house parties of 50-80+ people. This created such a terrible taste, it will be the last time I order with them. I hope to see they do better and don't permanently ruin what was once so great. The food used to remind me of NY Bodega food. Now, no where near the same taste or quality. I'm so disappointed and upset I spent $$ on this.

For an appetizer the Fried Cheese with French Fries. For some reason this surprised me because I was expecting something like Mozzarella Sticks but these were cubes of cheese instead and my wife did a quick Google check and found out that this was a specific type of cheese fried but not breaded. Ummm...for someone who likes fried foods, very delicious. I was not happy when this was done. For the entrée I had a Chicharron de Pollo with Tostones. The chicken was good, the Tostones plentiful. I usually get three or four at a restaurant. There was a lot more than that and I couldn't finish them all. Of course the Mofongo was ordered because why come to a place like this and not order it. Good choice since their menu had a whole bunch of Mofongo options. Oh and my wife really enjoyed the Café con Leche.

There were quite a few things on the menu they were "out of" even though it was 5 PM just a few hours after they opened. I elected to get something new, which was just a grilled chicken breast with rice and beans and salad and the chicken that was served to me was raw when I pointed it out, they brought it back to the kitchen, threw it back on the stove, which is certainly cross-contamination and tried to serve it to me. I asked for a box and immediately threw it in the trash then they charged me for that raw chicken they served. I would suggest going on weekends as it seems to be a different experience.

I arrived right at opening so of course I was able to get a seat at a table. The cashier was extremely friendly, very nice, and offered to help or get me anything that I needed to accommodate me during my meal. Because I arrived early, I had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes to get my food. I ordered the fried pork belly with sweet plantain and a side of the roasted chicken. The roasted chicken was absolutely delicious! It was extremely hot, very tender, very juicy with a ton of flavor. I'd actually go by just to get a side of chicken to eat in the car. Lol. The sweet plantain were pretty much what you would expect, but they were sweet, well cooked, and delicious. No faults on the sweet plantain. Then it comes to the fried pork belly. While I think it has a ton of potential, unfortunately, it was fried extremely extremely hard to the point we're not only was the meat dry, but it was fried so hard even the fat part I had cooked so much that it became dry. It was too a point where I had to try and soak the pieces of fried pork belly and the pan of chicken juice just to try and moisten it up or get a little bit of wetness on it to make it a little easier to eat. While I would go back, I would definitely ask for them to go much easier on the fry on the pork belly Two out of three is not bad and again the staff was extremely friendly and the chicken and plantain were delicious. So I would for sure go back and give them another try and see if maybe it was just an off day.
