We were a bit early to our reservation so we had to wait outside for the restaurant to open. They had a nice outdoor seating area with ashtrays and umbrellas. Once the restaurant opened, we were immediately seated and our server was with us shortly. I don't remember her name but she was very sweet and spoke both English and Spanish, which is perfect because my mom only speaks Spanish. She was very courteous and asked if we were here for a specific occasion. I told her it was my mother's birthday and we were there celebrating. We ordered drinks and the steak bites, which were sitting in a gravy like sauce which was amazing. The steak by itself was also well seasoned and delicious. I had an apple martini which was excellent as well and comes with a maraschino cherry. My mother had a margarita which she also quite liked. She and my fiancée ordered the skirt steak and I ordered the chicken francese. The steak was very good, perfectly seasoned, perfect temperature, and juicy. Despite ordering it well done, my mother's steak wasn't chewy or burnt. My fiancée had the same skirt steak medium well which I believe to be the sweet spot. The fries are excellent and well seasoned too. At the end, we ordered a très leches dessert and the waitress asked the band to play a jazz version of happy birthday, which we did not ask her to do but it was such a kind gesture and a very tasteful touch! The très leches was to die for! And to double down, they brought out complimentary raspberry tea to finish us off. The whole experience was made unforgettable by the team and I will be recommending this place to the people I know in the future. Thank you so much!

Only needed one. Entree: Apollo's Famous Prime Burger. I liked the burger, however, there was a strong taste of whatever method is used to cook the burger. I cant quite out my finger on it. It came with fries. They didnt have ketchup, but provided me with a cilantro sauce which actually paired better with the fries. Dessert: Vice City Tres Leches: DELICIOUS. Be ware if you cant finish it. They dont have a good method of it being to go due to how it's served. I did ask for a to go box anyways lol. Maybe try the to go box and see if they have saran wrap. The leche will escape the box. After dinner: French tea. Served hot in the most beautiful tea pot. I drank it as is. The live Jazz music was a bonus. We really enjoyed the music. They even performed a Bruno Mars song. A time was had. The staff was attentive and knowledgable. No complaints th I will be going back.

Nestled in Wynwood, the restaurant has a chic yet welcoming atmosphere with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's the kind of place that feels lively without being overwhelming. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality stood out. Every staff member was warm and attentive, and our server, Radomere, truly elevated the experience. Managing a party of 12 is no easy task, yet everything flowed seamlessly. He was attentive, personable, and made sure our celebration felt special from start to finish. With a group our size, we took full advantage of the menu. We shared oysters, escargot, crispy artichokes, leeks, beet salad, French onion soup, tuna carpaccio, steak tartare, and a beautifully curated cheese platter. Every appetizer arrived impeccably presented and packed with flavor. It was one of those rare meals where every dish earned compliments around the table. The cocktails and wine were just as enjoyable especially the dirty martinis, which were a hit with our group. For the main course, we ordered everything from the cheeseburger and mussels to the lemon pasta, spaghetti, steak, and chicken. Once again, every plate was beautifully executed and, more importantly, absolutely delicious. There wasn't a weak link in the meal. Dessert was the perfect finale. The dark chocolate mousse was rich, silky, and easily my favorite, though the profiteroles and lemon tart were excellent as well. Great food is one thing, but when you pair it with exceptional service, it makes for a memorable dining experience. This was an easy five-star visit, and I'll definitely be back to explore more of the menu.

The ambiance is vibrant and has a lovely, authentic French feel. The host was very welcoming and made a great first impression when we walked in. The Food: Given the reputation, we expected the kitchen to deliver, but most of the dishes fell flat: French Onion Soup: Just okay nothing special compared to other versions I've had. Artichoke with Aioli: Good! The aioli had great flavor and was easily the highlight of the savory dishes. New York Strip Steak: Very disappointing. It lacked flavor, felt dry, and was just "whatever." Pastis Burger: Like the steak, it was underwhelming and missed the mark on flavor. Crème Brûlée: Saved the ending it was executed well and tasted great. The Service: Our server was polite enough, but completely disengaged. He didn't offer any suggestions or attempt to sell any specials we had to ask all the questions ourselves. To top it off, after we ordered coffee alongside our dessert, he simply dropped the check on the table and vanished. We felt rushed, like he was just waiting to clock out and go home.

Disappointing Experience: Friendly Service Cannot Offset Poor Quality…read more (2 out of 5 stars) Having lived in the area for years, I was always curious to visit Le Bouchon as it is a local staple and always busy. Unfortunately, my visit fell far short of expectations. The Highlights: The staff is genuinely polite, friendly, and welcoming. Being greeted with a complimentary glass of champagne upon sitting down was a lovely touch. I The French fries (frites) were truly delicious. Areas in Need of Improvement: Atmosphere & Appearance: There is a distinct line between rustic charm and being run-down. The dining room feels neglected and in need of maintenance. Furthermore, the staff's uniforms appeared unkempt, which diminished the dining atmosphere. The Food: Bread: Served cold and visibly burnt. It felt as though it had been heated up long before and left sitting out. Filet Mignon (Steak & Frites) I ordered a 6 oz filet mignon medium. It arrived charred on the outside and severely overcooked inside (no pink remaining). It was accompanied by just three plain lettuce leaves without any oil or seasoning. Peppercorn Sauce: While the texture and creaminess were spot-on, the flavor was unbalanced overpowered by pepper and lacking basic seasoning/salt. Service Execution, though the servers were polite, execution was lacking. I ordered a glass of wine to pair with my meal. After waiting and having to ask about it near the end of my steak, the server mistakenly brought another glass of champagne. By the time the wine finally arrived, I was practically finished eating. While the staff's warmth is appreciated, it unfortunately does not compensate for the execution errors in the kitchen and the lack of attention to detail. Given its long-standing reputation, I expected a much higher standard and would not recommend it based on this visit.

But, I loved that we were greeted by the owner, such a great touch. Now to the food and wine. First of all, the wine selection is outstanding, I was speechless. Our first visit here was on a Tuesday night. We arrived a bit more than an hour before their posted closing time, but the place appeared to be empty. After waiting in the main bar/dining area for a few minutes with no one greeting us (though I could hear people talking back in what I believe is the kitchen) we decided to leave. We returned a few nights later after having dinner at nearby Flemings, were seated right away, given menus and we each ordered a glass of wine. After our wine was poured, we were basically forgotten about and we kind of felt like outsiders here, because most everyone at the bar and seated at 2 or 3 of the tables all seemed to know each other: The guy who'd been our server sat down at a table and ate/drank with the woman there. The guys seated at the bar grabbed glasses and served wine to women sitting at the other 2 stools, but there didn't seem to be any staff simply checking on the rest of us. The one employee who did later check in on some dining patrons was walking around with his 1/2 finished glass of wine in hand while doing so. Needless to say, our 2 visits here were both a bit odd. Service, at least for us was badly lacking, and compared to another wine bar and a few restaurants we patronize in this general area, the pours we were given here at Sospiro were a bit stingy. Sad, too, as we really enjoy good wine spots and were hoping we'd found a solid one in Sospiro. Not the case, at least in our experience.
